Hi.. My name is Katie and i could use some support. I won't get into the details, but my husband and I have been through a lot the last two years. Before we got married I weighed my heaviest at 174 (i know that doesn't sound like alot but i'm only 5 feet tall). I lost 20 and then got pregnant. I've lost the baby weigth (so i'm at 156), however, i just found out that i have high cholestrol. This runs in my family but i'd like to lose at least 25 pounds and try to get healthier. Thanks for the support in my journey.

You can do this and there are many here on WISH who will be glad to offer support to you along the way.

Come often, post lots. I find that helps me to stay focused on my quest too.
 
So i've lost 3 pounds so far... I'm feeling great (no junk food for me :)). I know i can do it this time as it's a matter of health and not looks. Some how i just feel more serious about it. I want to be heathly for my daughter and husband.
 
I too am new here, and need too lose weight, I need motivation big time but just reading there posts has already inspired me. :love:

I took my first spin class yesterday and it was great. I'm getting really exciting about my new healthy lifestyle. :)

I did feel like i was gonna lose it :rotfl: , but i have a competitve streak and i was with a friend. Figured if everyone else was doing it i could too. :goodvibes Of course my face was beat red the rest of the day at work.
 
I just did my second spin class and i'm having a great time. it's amazing what you can do when you're fueled by healthy food. :)
 
So my daughter just turned one (two weeks ago) and i'm finally at my pre-preggers weight. Yippeee. No to just lost that other pesky 21 lbs. :)

How are those spinning classes going? I am hoping to gather the courage and try one of those....they just look so hard-core....:faint: I am afriad I might hit the deck after the class. hehehehe.

I've never tried spinning. You stick with that and I'm sure you will just melt away.

You should try it.. It's tough but really worth the effort. Sometimes I do wanna pass out afterwards, but you really feel like you're doing something.

Hi Katie! I'm new too and just read your thread. Congrats on the progress you've been making! I just started walking and doing 1/2 hour of a fitness program. I also have the Wii Fit and should get back to that. Good luck and keep it up!
