The reason for this is that they put a gas bubble in my eye which holds the retina to the back of the eye and allows it to heal.
The hard part is that I am just not built to lay flat on my stomach. I can do it.....but then I dont breathe well. I have managed to find a suitable position, but it;s sort of fetal with a double gainer.
Hi Kevin,
glad everything went fine

. My mom had that same surgery with the gas bubble almost to the day last year but she had it all done in the dr's office and she was awake

I couldn't even watch when they but a needle in her eye to numb it before the surgery (some support team I was

) I almost passed out

she is one brave woman

.
She was lucky because she had to just lay in bed on her left hand side and since she always lays on her left hand side it was ok for her. Please make sure you sleep laying flat on your stomach like the dr said and try the best you can because this will make your eye heal so much faster

My mom regained all of her eye sight back from that scary day and I do hope the best for you too

Can't wait to meet you on the podcast cruise!!
