Hey All!

Im back! Ok you didn't know I left... but I did. (Fine i totally lurked here, and may have made occasional park visit...s) :rotfl2: 5 years ago when I was turned away from Disney for wanting to have my commitment ceremony on property I had to just take time away from the one thing that was my whole life for so long! But now that they changed their policy... I'm feeling accepted again! Its like being welcomed back home!

So this June is our 5 year Anniversary, and we are spending it in Disneyland (first trip there ever)! We are so excited! My hubby is so obsessed with Club 33, which I must admit I didn't really know of... :guilty:

I know its private, and membership only, yet Ive seens many people say they "got invited." Do any of you know if there is anyway I could make this happen for our Anniversary? It would blow the other half away. I literally think he would pass out. lol I don't want to press him for info, b/c hell start to suspect. If anybody can help, or point me in a direction it would mean the world to me!

Also, how would they be with the "two guys" thing?

Best~

A friend of mine was a well placed Disney film exec who had a membership there... He never invited ME.

But he was also gay.. so I can't imagine they'd even bat an eye... I'm sure he took dates there on occasion for the "wow" factor.

Again - NOT ME. Grr.. :)

Hopefully someone else can tell you if an 'invite' is even possible.

I'm pretty sure there is an annual "admission fee" for it as well. I've known people who were members, and I know they have very large incomes and even they said it was expensive. I know there is like a 15 year waiting list on new members, and the initial fee is something like $10,000, in addition to the annual dues.

I'm not at all sure on these facts, they are just close to things I have heard. The people I knew who were members never really spoke about that part of it lol

Sorry to say, unless you actually know someone with a membership, I don't think you'll have much luck getting into Club33. Members are pretty protective and gaurded of their memberships.

I am very lucky that I was at the right place at the right time, wearing the right shirt, when conversing with a business associate at a corporate training retreat. A simple conversation starter "Oh do you like Disney" because of a MM polo shirt I was wearing, turned into a long discussion of WDW over what otherwise would be boring sales dinner. At the end of the conversation I was asked if I had ever been to DL and if I knew what Club 33 was. I said yes I knew and no I hadn't. He told me when I made it out to DL to look him up for a suprise. Two years later, when I was headed to DL, we called him to invite him out for a drink. You can imagine my suprise and delight when he asked me if I wanted to go to Club33.

Thanks for all the info evreyone! I didnt quite realize. But hey we can still take our picture by the door! :)

To further back up.. I've heard the initial fee is around 10k to 12.5k and annual dues are something like 2500 or so.

It ain't for the faint of heart.. $$$

.... do they take monopoly money? :rotfl:

Hey, when I win the lotto you can all be my guests!

Well, I've not ever heard of Club 33. I gather it's a Disneyland exclusive sort of place? Is it limited (membership that is) to Disney executives? Is it a nightclub sort of place or a country club sort of place? The things ya' learn on a message board. ;)

The staff at Club 33 will be completely unfazed by a gay couple. If you find a member willing to extend an invitation, you need not be concerned about the service and the treatment being anything short of impecable. The staff there is hand selected from the cream of the crop and guest comfort is their primary goal. They will go out of their way to make your visit a delight.

Good luck on finding an invite.
