hi everyone -- i'm new. this is a great forum! our family loves disney. but i have a question not related to the mouse. my sis and brother-in-law are moving, and i'm wondering if there are any good ways to get to know like minded families, with similar values and interests, in a new community? they aren't much for church or rotary, etc.

Welcome - first of all. Meetup.com is a good way. You pick what your interest are and then they give you places that those "groups" are meeting in that area. I found a few people there that I communicate with in my area. I went there searching for people with interest of my5 yr old with Autism. Very helpful.

Thank you so much for telling me about Meetup!!! It looks great.
I've also been looking at another online service, FriendsForFamilies, which apparently helps families meet other families in the same community.
