Hi everybody, I'm coming out of lurking!

Just thought I would introduce myself. I've been lurking on this board for a long time.....over a year. I am patiently (NOT) awaiting my 4th trip (as an adult) to WDW this August. We stayed in Fort Wilderness the summer of 2003. We stayed in SOG New Years of 2008-2009, and Fort Wilderness June of 2009. I travel with two little boys, 12 and almost 9, and my parents.

My parents have a 35 foot class C RV. We've already reserved a cart from Kenny. We already have our military salute ticket vouchers. I told the boys tonight, they were SO excited. We hadn't planned to come back this year, but when they came out with the military tickets again....well, you know how that goes. Now I just need August to hurry up and get here!

How was SOG? I have never stayed there even though I am military. We may be looking at some short weekend trips over the next year since we are planning to become AP holders real soon. On those trips, we are planning to not pull the camper down so we can get there and back more quickly.

Both of my boys do fish occasionally, with my parents. I do NOT fish. The little one particularly enjoys it.

We will be there Aug 16-24!!! Of course last time we were there we didn't want to go home and stayed an extra day, so we'll see

My father is retired Navy. Both of my boys are active duty dependants, but we're divorced, so I'm not.

SOG is nice. We had a good time there. The onyl problem is that it's HUGE, and they don't have golf carts in the hallway It was a LONG walk from where the bus let us off, back to our room. Other than that, it was nice, the rooms are huge. They have a nice shop in there where you can get everything from trinkets to some groceries and drinks.
