Hi Disney Fanatics, tell me your thoughts about this........

Thank you for the most recent responses.;)

Would it be soooo horrrribbbleee. I think people are smart enough to realize he is not the real thing. Though animatronics like the smarter way to go. I would go see it over and over. George Washington and Abe Lincoln are there. I don't think anyone would pass out or quit going if they saw Walt Disney. It sure as heck would bring a happy tear to my eye if I saw him talking on stage.......:yay:

Great replies everyone, I'm not even against the animatronics. As far as the glue, I'm dying of brain cancer. Gliomablastoma Stage 3, I don't think the doctor will let me do that. But that you for that great advice.

Oh boy.

Sorry - someone with such low posts and a response like that, well -

I would love seeing it too. I think a lot of Disney fans would. I really don't see what would be so horrible? Personally, I would love to see Walt Disney a heck of a lot more than I am interested in seeing the Presidents again.

I also don't get why everyone seems to think that a person quoting what they want to say in a letter is going to just copy and paste it to their letter. I am fairly certain the OP would correct grammar and spelling erros. Good grief, people, does everyone have to be so critical??

Also the screen name as well.

I felt the same way. Of course, last time I called someone a troll, I got points from the Moderator.

Apparently, Trolls are a protected species.

Sorry for my stupidity, but what is a troll?

Also, this would obviously have to be asked to the Disney family. I think you might be surprised by there answer.

OP, like others have said, Disney doesn't accept unsolicited ideas. And even if they did, this idea holds no appeal for me, especially an impersonator. Just kind of creepy. And isn't Walt Disney part of the "American Adventure" show at Epcot? I'm sure he's mentioned there. If the powers that be wanted Walt at Disney, wouldn't "he" have been a host of that show?

Thank you Jennasis. I am fairly new to this, obviously. :) I probably would not have come on here, been since my situation has changed recently, I find myself reaching out to more people, especially since I love Disney soooo much. :wizard:

I figured about the unsolicited ideas, several other people have mention it already :( Oh well, I just thought it would be a neat way to reach out to everyone on the boards, I did not mean to offend some people on this board. I was thinking about something really and special to an already incredible place. Disney has always been a great part of my life.

Maybe an audio animatronic figure like in Hall of Presidents would be cool. But NOT an impersonator.

This. I think a small little museum sort of like Elvis and Graceland would be great I would love to see it maybe put it where they have the Narnia movie stuff.

I agree, it's time to move the Narnia pavallion. The reason I was pushing for Hollywood Studios is because the Magic Kingdom is busy enough.....

This is completely uncalled for. He has a low post count so he can't have brain cancer? Pardon my ignorance, but I fail to see the correlation. It's probably against the rules for me to say this, but I hope you get banned, or at the very least, points for this.

OP, on behalf of all Disers, please accept my apologies for the rudeness of some of us.

and as cool as it was to see the stuff from the movie once is enough but throw up some pictures of Walt and family I bet people will keep going back.

Um, there already is a museum dedicated to Walt Disney, right near the former Narnia location.

Topolino,

That was very nice of you. It's you and many other people like yourselves on this that make me enjoy talking on this board. I guess some people may not understand, but that o.k.. I knew I would get some people flustered about this idea.:scared:
I do realize the idea of a real person may not work, the only reason I brought up a real person was because it would be easier to narrate a show that is continuously changing. I thought the animatronics might become expensive with the show forever changing. But if it could be done, I think more people would watch Walt than they would watch the show. Think how many parents could point out Walt Disney to there small children. It would be soooo cool....Again of course, just my opinion.....

Really. I don't know if I have seen it before. I will look for it when I go this summer.

Topolino,

You are correct, there is an AWESOME museum there. I see it everytime I'm there. But the difference with this was to add Walt and do a show on everything that is continuously coming up with Disney. Changing the show ever several months.
Just like Walt did during the Color of Disney, with video on a screen behind him showing the new stuff as he explains it.........popcorn::

I actually think that are many "souls in America" who wouldn't recongnise Walt Disney if they saw him (or a picture of him).

I, for one, am one of "those" souls who would not recognize Walt Disney if he kicked me in the butt. ...and I visit WDW every year.

OP:

You have a stage III glioma and you are still working?

...just throwing it out there:

Stage III gliomas can effect cognitive and neurological functioning.
