Hi all,
Wanted to "wave" at everyone now that I've come back to the DIS, and give a quick status check to let you know how things are going, being that as Snoopy said, I more or less grew up on this board.

Lots of you know that after graduation, I went to work at an investment bank ... which installed board blocker software a few weeks after I started work! No more DIS for me, it was banned! I was also working 75 hour weeks, and when I came home, I kept myself off the computer to try and build a life

Just a few weeks ago I switched jobs, and I'm now working for a boutique risk management firm at Rockefeller Center. I'm actually home sick today (touch of the flu). I really like the new job a lot, very quantitative finance/systems ... right up my alley. And the hours are more like 55 a week ... MUCH BETTER. They also allow message boards through their online filter - so my first thought was oooh baby, back to the DIS!

My roommate and I are moving from NJ to NYC in April.

Jean-Paul and I are still going strong! 4 years on Feb. 28. No engagement anytime soon (I'm in no rush at all). He's loving law school here in NYC.

Thank you to many of you for your PMs and I promise I'll catch up and get back to you ASAP. I do hope to reconnect with many of you whom I've known well in the past ... lots of good memories. Please feel free to drop a note.

So glad to hear from you Dana! And yes, I do think you grew up on these boards, I was all misty-eyed when you graduated and got your first job. (imagine the PITA I'll be when this happens w/my own kids!)

Its wonderful that everything is going well w/your new job, and you and Jean Paul are still an item!
