Hi everyone I'm on WW, I started the on line program in early March when my dh was deployed (he is still deployed and won't be home until early November) and lost a mere 7 pounds in 3 moths, then in Mid-June I joined WW in real life and have lost another 8 since.

I have two kids a 5 yr old and a 10 mos old, and still have 12 pounds to my prepregnancy weight, plus another 60 or so to my goal.

I'll be turning 30 in May and making a trip to DW in March, my goal is to be at or near my goal weight by the time I turn 30.

I can't wait to learn all about all of you.

Thanks,

Anna

Hello and welcome, Anna!

You came to the right place for support! Woo-hoo! WW is a great program! :) Glad you are still sticking with it! WISH is a wonderful place to visit, it helps me stay motivated and on track. Check out some of the messages that are "stuck" to the top of the page, there are some great WW recipes up there!

to WISH! I'm so glad you here! I'm on WW (on my own) and just LOVE when I can add a new friend to my support group!

I tried two new recipes this weekend, BTW, and will be adding it to our sticky thread today I hope, that's my intention :)

I have two DDs and I totally understand how hard it is to keep some treats around for the kids and yet stay on the program!

With all the great support you will find here on WISH, I know you'll be hitting your goal!! I think there is a mini-goal for Labor Day if you are ready to jump on that wagon! I believe it's 5 lbs off before Labor Day, jump on, you can do it!!

Welcome to WISH!!!

I am also doing WW (on my own) and I love the program. It is so flexible and I need that. It is nice to have another WW-er on the boards.

Grab your WISH clippie (there is a thread at the top explaining how to do it) jump right in and start posting! :)

Welcome sweetie!! And I'm so PROUD of your dh and hope you have a good support of friends and family while he's away. We have been sending care packages to some soldiers in Kuwait- and reading their letters and how life is there is truly amazing- and what a surprise for you hubby when he comes home and finds less of you!!! :) There are several if not "lots" of us in your shoes! Grab those clippies and start watching the weight come on down.
I started on WISH and slimfasting the first week of April, I started at 236 and am really close to breaking through 200! (Today I was 200.5! :)) It'll be amazing to say I only have 55 more pounds to go! :) And I hope to have the other 55 pounds off by April/May- so we'll be shooting for the same time frame! You can do it!!! And with those little kids running around you'll have alot more energy to keep up with them- mine are 4,5,& 8. Some of the best tips here are to set mini-goals then make new ones once you've met the first one- and take measurements- I'm sure WW does this- so that's handy- there is a bloat fairy around here that we've been trying to shoo away but she still pops her nasty head in on each one of us every now and then- but don't worry- she's really harmless just irritating! :)
Welcome to the crew Anna- can't wait to see what the months hold ahead for you!!
Onwards & Downwards!!!
Tara

Thanks you are all so sweet.

My dh is a Marine and is on his way or off the shore of Liberia right now.. but he will be home in 12 weeks :).

I do have mini goals set for Sept 1, Nov 1, Jan 1, March 1, and then May when I turn 30.

It's nice to meet all of you thanks so much.

Welcome, Anna! WW is a terrific program (I'm doing Atkins for a while, just to see what it's like) and definitely a lifestyle that's easy enough to maintain. I wish you all the very best success with your goals and it's nice to 'meet' you!

Hi Anna! Another military wife here (almost 17 years with a Navy DH) and a WW follower (on my own). So glad to have you on the WISH boards, this truly is a wonderful place to find support and motivation. Welcome!!!

Hi Anna,
Welcome and nice to meet you!!

It sounds like you are really doing a great job with you WW! Congratulations!! I am on WW too and have been for 11 months. Hit goal a few weeks ago and struggling to do maintenance (only .4 over goal right now and 3 weeks to go!).

Glad to have you join us and looking forward to getting to know you better!

Hiya Anna ~

Nice to meet you and welcome to WISH.

You are going to do so well because you are already motivated to succeed.

WISH is such an important part of my life cause I know that I can come here and people will listen and help me even if I have been naughty and stuffed my face.

Good Luck.

Welcome

I am doing WW too and I really like it, it seems to work for me and the support on this board is great. I'm sure you'll be happy you found the WISH board. :D

Hi Anna! Welcome to a great community of support!

I am currently doing WW (on my own) and am being fairly successful although the weight is coming off really slow. I figure at least it is coming off. :D I think setting the little goals will help you a lot. When I look at the big picture I find it to be so overwhelming that I want to give up right away. I am so bad that I need weekly goals to keep myself going. I wrote in my journal tonight that my goal is to exercise 6 out of 7 days this week. If I reach my goal, my reward is a new bottle of OPI nail polish that I am really wanting. I love to come to the WISH board everyday to be inspired by people who are reaching their goals and to send messages to people who I think can use a pick me up. It is a wonderful place to find support and information.

On a personal note - I was glad to read that DH will be coming home in 12 weeks! You must be so excited to see him. You are already a strong woman to do a great job of raising your children while he is gone - I am sure that you will be successful staying strong on WW!!

Glad to have you join us here!

I am a WW lifetimer...I lost 75 lbs on WW to get to lifetime and then went about 13lbs under goal and well I gained back that 13 lbs during a stressfull Winter and Spring (nothing as stressful as you are going through though) and I came to WISH the end of last week to find some motivation to get rid of those pounds that creaped back on. I am having a great time finding support here and I love WW so I will be glad to give you any support you need. I also have two DD one just turned 7 years old and one is 3.5...while I can't imagine doing in on my own, but I understand some what how it can be hard to put yourself first when raising two young kids.
