HHN XX - The rumors have started!

Quoting OZZY are we? :lmao:

I just love the build-up of rumors and the website this time of year!!:thumbsup2

I like to see a house based on a OZZY song like Diary of a Madman. That would be kool...

oooh, indeed it would:laughing:

i wish i had the 'stones' of sharon, she's pretty scary in her own right

posted on another thread that when i was exploring the HHN website, jr thought the music sounded like the resident evil 2 save room theme music (it does to me too).

Im told it's a coincidence :confused3still...imo, it'd make an interesting house that'd appeal to a big fanbase of gamers that might not've attended HHN in the past.

probably just barking @ the moon;)what do y'all think of the chances?

There is another Resident Evil film out this year 'Resident Evil: Afterlife' in 3D. As well as Milla Jovovich retuning as Alice it will also star Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield, however it's a Sony Pictures film not Universal.

Does anyone think that the leaked details on Medusa etc, might possibly be a 'Clash of the Titans' house. I know it's a Warner Bros picture, but so were the Harry Potters..
Probably not, but it was the first thing I thought of after reading it.

:sad2:

Rumors are just that - rumors ... there will be a million out there until the actual theme and houses are officially announced. Every year it's the same thing and about 90% of the rumors are false.

They have lost their minds with these ticket prices. We are still doing HHN every year but every other trip to Orlando has been scrapped. It's the same old stuff for brand new prices.

I can't imagine their new R.I.P. tour prices, probably $500 per person.

That's the reason I've never done the RIP tour...it's just too much money. I get my Frequent Fear pass and go every Sunday and opening night but that's it.

Keishashadow and Vinvader - I wish you hadn't said anything - I've got my heart set on a Resident Evil house now :thumbsup2

I can't imagine anything better - well maybe the Halloween House me and Carole are always hoping for! :rotfl2:

I can't wait for a few more details to come out.........

Last year for a non-private 4 hour tour - max 12 people per tour (either non-peak or peak night) it was $150 per person plus tax plus your admission to the event. Private tours were much more expensive ($1500 per group plus tax plus your admission to the event on a non-peak night for a 5 hour tour; For peak nights (7 hour tour) it was $1800 per group plus tax plus your admission to the event. I do believe they offered an Annual Pass discount on the RIP tours but am unsure how much the discount was.

No idea if they're going to raise the price of the tours this year.

it's fun to be able to particate in the anticipation this year:banana:

btw, i am so looking forward to seeing Resident Evil in 3-D. I will never forget playing the game & the 1st time a zombie crashed thru a window i jumped a mile lol

I just remember taking the survey asking what you were willing to pay for R.I.P. and what you wanted out of the tour. So I have a feeling the tour might be unlimited this year but be substantially higher in cost.

I take it everyone has seen the updated website?! Looks wicked.....

This means its time to start getting properly excited!!

I've been away the past week - has anyone heard any new rumors?

During a permit review for HHN, a scene name was leaked out. The scene name is Sprung 2 – Scene 6 – Military Storage. So I think we can expect to see some war-related scares.

We just wrote about some rumors on our blog so if you want to read more you can go to destinationthemepark.com.

The Hollywood scarezone is shaping up to be a good one from what ive seen leaked.
Queen Of Hearts, Chainsaw#1, Dead cheerleader, Mary Shaw, Pumpkinhead, Chucky, Chance.

Looks like a scary bunch! :scared1:

::yes::

There is a cheaper alternative - the stay and scream option, but you must have a regular theme park daily admission ticket and be in the park prior to 5:00 pm. Prices for those are:
Sunday - Thursday - $34.99
Friday - $49.99
Saturday - $64.99.

is it a must to be IN the park at 5?
what happens if you are over at IOA & don't make it back in time? will they still let you in at 7 when the regulars are let in?

also from looking at the tix on the site. it states you can ONLY purchase a stay & scream ONLY if you purchase an entrance ticket at the same time. so does that mean if you get tickets elsewhere (like AAA & maple leaf) you are out of luck to be able to purchase a stay & scream?

In order for you to do Stay & Scream, you MUST be at the Studios before closing. Otherwise you will have to wait outside with the general public and you don't want to do that. The lines start to form at 5pm and by 7pm...it's huge and defeats the whole purpose of S & S. You can purchase the S & S discounted ticket that day...you don't have to buy them at the same time...that's only for online purchases.

Does the FFP sell out at all??

I think we`re going to purchase these this year, just not sure whether to get them now or wait?? We don`t arrive till Oct 22nd which is a Friday and would still be quite tired to do the Saturday either....so If I have checked the dates correctly we should be able to go 4 off peak nights.

We will probably purchase the S&S discounted ticket in the park on the days we can go as well.

I`m hoping with us going maybe 3 or the 4 nights we shouldn`t need to buy the express pass as we can catch up with anything we miss??? Hopefully :confused3

Carole - I don't think I've ever seen the FFP sell out so you should be good. If you get them with the AP discount, go ahead and purchase. I usually wait until the beginning of September to get mine. I wouldn't fool with an EP if you're going four nights...you should be able to to everything in that time.

I want to see the Zombie Drill Team again like they had back in 08'.They were a riot

Thanks Todd.....I think we will wait till nearer the time to get these.
