HHN website

I love the houses so far but I'm also disappointed at the lack of a theme and so little on the website. I've got a kid who would love to go but it's hard to be enthusiastic about this considering the price.

i'd like to think they're diverting all their energy into making the houses over the top this year vs website design but seriously:confused3why the cut back? Lots of top notch college interns would jump at the chance to maintain website gratis.:rolleyes1

quick ? I have 4:30pm finnegan reservations on oct 28th. What time would they release guests roughly out of the holding area?

Usually no later than 6pm...just make sure you've paid and are ready to go by 5:45pm...they could release earlier than 6pm.

RIP Tour and UTH Tour pricing has been released on the website.

the cat and mouse game is now over.
i saw that and booked the private tour and the uth tour when the office opened.

#1 to book ...........::yes::

i asked the TM how many peeps have booked tours so far, she said 'you are the first'.......

hope all that want tours of any type, get the tours you want!

i love the UTH tour.
you get such wonderful insight and can take all the pics you want in some of the houses.

if you are not sure if the night rip tours are for you, do the day tour and see what the houses are all about.

if you like the day tour, the night tours will be a piece of cake for youse.

It's frustrating that the private RIP tour is limited to 10 while the public RIP tour allows for a max of 12. I would have preferred that the max number be the same for both tours. I also find it interesting that parties of 7 or more are required to book private tours.

It's also interesting that the tours aren't available for 3 nights. I wonder what's so special about those nights. Perhaps some bigwigs have purchased exclusive RIP tours for their mega groups on those nights.

i read on the hhn wbsite that the non private tours are shorter than the private tours.
the site states non private are 2-4 hours.

private tours are from 7 to closing.

black out dates for the tours have always been there.
i just work around those dates.

about the number per tour, i can only assume that is so the tours can complete all the houses and hit bill and teds.

I am all set!

Purchased my RoF+Express and UTH tour for Sept. 29.

There was a typo in my name in the confirmation email so I called back and got the same person. They fixed the issue.

Also, I got the AP discount with my confirmation number though I haven't activated the AP yet. :cool1:

Cheers!

Marquibiri :thumbsup2

Okay so one more time... someone tell me if I got this right before I start planning.

Oct 18th -21st 4 of us will be staying at the RPR which is onsite. We plan to HHN or either Friday, Saturday or both nights (maybe some one can tell me which is better)

So... if I understand correctly we tickets to the park (IOA / US) and then we have to purchase tickets to HHNs. And then we need Stay and Scream tickets.

Is this correct?

To do Stay and Scream, you only need a daytime park ticket and your HHN ticket. Be in the park before it closes (I recommend 30 minutes prior) and make your way to one of two holding areas, located in New York and Kidzone. Show your HHN ticket to one of the TMs. They will scan it and let you into the holding area, where you can wait for HHN after the park closes. You'll be released by 6:00, and they will have 2-3 houses opened up early so you can get them done before the main crowd is let in.

Hope this helps!

EDIT: I didn't want to double post, but the HHN Facebook page just commented on their most recent post stating that "all will be revealed next week". Can't wait!

:cool1: lots of happy campers today

booked on a RIP tour:thumbsup2

suppose I need to buy our HHN tix:duck:

Is it true that there is a seperate entrance for early admission for onsite hotel quest for HHN

No. Technically, there is no Stay and Scream Ticket. It's just a HHN ticket that is purchased at reduced rate (Stay and Scream rate) in conjecture with purchasing/owning a day ticket.

To access the Stay and Scream holding area inside USF, you need to be in the park during the day curteousy of your day ticket, and then access the holding area by showing you HHN ticket to the Universal employees that control access to the holding area. Two tickets: the day ticket and the HHNs ticket.

at the far right side of the entrance section, hotel guests can enter the park for hhn from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
when you check in to the onsite hotel, you receive info which includes info about the separate entry for hhn.

show your hotel card/key and your hhn ticket to enter.

if the holding area has not released the homies yet, you will be directed to wait there until the park is opened.

(the purpose of this special entrance is for hotel guests so they do not have to stand in the regular line which opens at 6:30 pm.)

time has varied based on date from about 5:50 to 6:15 when the holding areas release the peeps.

no one can be released until security gives the all clear to the TM's at the holding sections.

Macraven,

That's VERY cool that you were #1

tanx homie!

last year i was #2 in booking a private tour.
this year i cut back on sleeping to watch the hhn website for the tour release info.

i checked the website at various times in the day and night.
can't help being so driven.
completely and totally addicted to hhn......

tonight i can sleep all night long.

Yes...the entrance is to the right side of the admission gates. They let hotel guests in at 6pm which is about the same time the Stay & Scream people are released.
