HHN site is up..........woo hoo

Are they even going to offer AP discounts on Express Passes. They never did before - you got a discount on the tickets but Express was rack rate period.

That'd be great if they did....

you know it may go that way. i forgot that they only discount one of the items.

i'm so blonde today, i'm platinum..........:rotfl:

it's either the hhn tix or ep they have the ap discount on.
i should write down the correct word when i call them........

i probably confused everyone. sorry

Dang Mac and there you were getting my hopes up ;)

Me thinks she'll be taking a day off work this year and going during non-peak times. I absolutely refuse to pay $70 for express even though it's worth it.

Can't wait to hear if they are doing the Unmask the Horror tour again. That was the best thing for the money by a landslide!

i will see what the ap rates are for the tickets. if they are greater than the stay and scream tickets, then i am going with those instead.

i want to do a rip tour for probably the saturday night as that night is usually the largest crowd. then no ep necessary.
i plan on doing 2 non peak nights and 2 peak nights in a row.

Thanks for the updates you guys! I cant wait till october! This will be our 5th HHN in a row and we plan for it all year.

Is "hell week" (FL spring break) oct 21-28 this year? I was just wondering why they extended the number of days during that week.

lynne, you mentioned the vip / rip tour for hhn.

i sent a letter off to the department where i booked the last year tour with.

they responded this evening.

they are planning to do the rip tour and the unmask the horror tour again this year for hhn.

bad news is on oct 5th, there will be a media event and no tours that date.
also, on the 6th/saturday, there is a black tie charity event, so no tour that date either. i'll be doing hhn on the 4,5,6,7 of october.

they told me they probably will do the rip tour on sunday night. so that will be when i take it then. too bad i picked a 4 day weekend to be at hhn. i might have had better luck doing the tour a different weekend.

they will release the information in a bit over 2 weeks from now.

i'll post here when i get the info emailed to me. it will be posted on the hhn site but they said they will keep my email on file.

they will have Unmask the Horror tours for hhn this year.
i recieved a reply to my email and asked about that.

they have to set up a schedule first and will release the dates for it in a few weeks.

i'll give you a heads up if i hear about it first by email if someone doesn't read it on site before me.

they said they will email me more info when the dates and basic info goes on the website.

RIP Tour looks like a really good shout. We're tempted by it, but haven't decided yet. We're not getting our tickets til next month so we'll decide when we get them.

It's cool they'll be doing nights at the start of November as well cos we'll still be there :woohoo:

Ah well - off to work now :sad2: :scared:

After all of the postiive reviews ~ I think we are going to do a HHN Tour.

Can't wait until the AP rates come out:thumbsup2

mac, let me know if you decide to do the RIP tour on Sunday, 10/7. Mike and I may join you.

Noticed that the Express Passes are now on sale:thumbsup2

mac, would you mind sending me any info you receive on the RIP tour? Mike and I will have to figure out what we're doing, but we're totally considering the RIP tour as well. It would be nice to do it on Sunday so we can do HHN at a relaxed pace that night as we're going over to pixie land on Monday to meet friends at EPCOT.

I just ordered our express passes.

FYI : the online ticket store will only let you buy a total of 6 HHN express passes per order. So if you are like me and need more than 6, call guest services @ 407-224-7840. I like to have my tickets in my grubby little hands so I have them shipped. USA FedEx is $15 if you call, online is $14 per order.

Hmm, a while back (2004), I called the AP line to order HHN/express tickets, and I remember shipping be free. I wonder if it will still be? I suppose I am being too optimistic there....;)

I actually tried calling the APH number this morning and the guy said he couldn't sell me the express passes, that I had to go thought guest services. I also asked the APH hot-line guy if he knew when the HHN APH discounts were going to be released, he said the end of June.

When you do the tour ask for Phil Hale. I have been the tour with him for the last 6 or 7 years and he is a great guy. He was the original devil in the first couple of HHN.

LOL. One time after the tour was officially over he took us around and got us in on anything we wanted for the last hour which was on his own time. Doesn't happen often but there is always that chance. Then again I tip him so maybe he is just doing it for the money.
