HHN Site is NOW LIVE

Any suggestion on what movies to watch to prepare for HHN? Last year, with HHN having a Saw house, we had a Saw marathon. I'm not sure what to watch this year. Perhaps a zombie marathon. I haven't seen Zombieland, so that could be on the list.

There is a movie called Catacombs that I saw when trying to find movies, I haven't watched it yet but it is a horror movie set in the Catacombs of France, seems a lot like the Catacombs house :thumbsup2

I may be the only person disappointed in this years lead up. The website is very plain nad lacking compared to previous years. I guess there is still time for another update.

:rotfl2: So did the zombie stumble around while mumbling, "broccoli"?

Thanks! I'll have to check that one out.

I completely agree with you.. I have no idea why they would choose to not have a build up like they normally do, my only guess is they really want "Fear" to remain a mystery, like he has for the past 19 years. Of course while that build up would be nice, I think this year's houses have potentional and I'm really looking forward to them.

Well since this is a first for us being HHN newbies and all...I'm pretty excited! I will admit though, I was kind of hoping for something with the classic monster theme (Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolfman etc. Lame?). We are all of us stoked to the max and can't wait for October! Scared of that!:scared1:

Maybe it's due to the fact that Roddy is not part of it, I think he was a creative genius. I still have my hotel booked and will be attending, I just feel as their "anniversary" year, it would have been over the top.. oh well

Well, it won't be the theme this year, but I wouldn't rule out seeing some of those characters. ;)

How was diary of the dead? I have been wanting to watch it but can't find it anywhere.

Yeah...I agree. I hope they will load the media section so I can grab the house logos as in previous years.

I would agree with the lack of development on the website, but IMO they shot the wad 2 years ago. I just don't see them matching the buildup and backstory they had with Bloody Mary. That said, I think the houses this year have the potenial to outdo anything they've done so far.

Looking good...

Two shows, Bill and Ted and Brian Brushwood's magic.. hmmm..
Zombie house and scarezone...

Marquibiri :thumbsup2
:BB was amazing, glad to see him returning.

As a massive George A Romero fan, all I have to say is:

 FREAKING ZOMBIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so thrilled that my favourite horror genre is being represented at my first ever HHN!:thumbsup2

:goodvibes

Thank you! I can never get enough Zombies (we need a Zombie smiley!)

Another PsychoScareapy house! :woohoo:

PsychoScareapy: Home for the Holidays was my favorite house in 2008!
:teeth:
Me too! (Was 2007 though, I know coz it was our first year and we didn't do 2008)

I assume this years will be less " nice" than the Holidays theme though! :rotfl:

For those of you interested in The Walking Dead show you should check out the comic book it came from. Its written by Robert Kirkman and I have been hooked on it for years. :yay:
