I need to convince dh to stay onsite. We're planning to go to US on Oct. 20th and do 2 nights or Oct. 21st and do 1 night. We're planning to do IOA on Friday since the park will close an extra hour later than the rest of the week. I know HHN is going on that wednesday through the weekend. DH is assuming the parks will be light the whole week (including friday) and the bigger crowd will be there during the weekend. I'm thinking because of WWOHP, it will just be busy. I want to stay onsite to take advantage of the FOTL in case there is a large crowd (especially on Friday). We're going to celebrate our birthdays and mainly to see WWOHP, but we also love riding Hulk and Spiderman, etc... Can anyone tell me how busy the park is on a Friday on a HHN day? TIA!

Oh and 1 more thing, is the early entry just for packages or do you get it as long as you're an onsite guest? Thanks!

The crowd at the Studios on the nights HHN is staged will grow in the afternoon but it should be relatively quiet in the morning. IOA should be steady with HP but it shouldn't be any busier than normal.

The early entry is available to all on-site hotel guests. Be aware there is no FOTL available for HP, but your early entry should ensure a shorter wait. A friend told me of 2 hour waits for all HP attractions, so get there early!

I've never been to either park on a Friday before HHN, but if you are planning to attend HHN do it on a weekday or Sunday night. Friday and Saturday are ridiculously crowded and the HHN FOTL pass is very expensive and only good for one haunted house per pass.

I think you mean one time through the line PER house and attraction. The HHN EP is just like the one during the day...once through the line at each participating attraction and house.

Thank you both for responding. Well, this morning, the first thing dh told me was to go ahead and book onsite! :cool1:

I'm so excited! We only live about an hour and 45 minutes away and it's been hard holding off on WWOHP. If it weren't for the heat and millions of people during the summer, we probably would've been there 3-4 times already!

As for HHN, DH wants to attend, but we have a 3 yr old dd, plus I'm a big scaredy cat when it comes to people jumping out at me. LOL.. I've seen the HHN episode on Travel Channel and I know I'll cry if I'm there. Maybe one of these years I'll get over it.
