HHN Express pass necessary?

We're planning on visiting a HHN on a Thursday night near mid-late October. From those that have been in the past, are HHN Express passes going to be necessary to enjoy the evening, or will the regular lines be tolerable enough? Staying on-site, so we'll obviously enjoy FOTL during regular hours, but what about HHN evening? Is it necessary then?

Thanks,

Adam

it really is a personal thing. this year is kind of a whole new ballgame since its going to be in both parks. also, predicting crowds it like predicting the weather! LOL ** hey charlie ** i wish someone had a magic answer, but we dont. all i can say is i wont ever go without them. and if you are staying onsite mostly for the fotl perk, then you prob wouldnt want to go without them either! and besides, if the parks arent very crowded the night(s) you deside to go you can do everything twice!! good luck and have lots of fun!! its a BLAST

bump....any other thoughts on this? What has been your experience on past HHN nights on a Thursday?

Hard to say - with the whole "2 park" thing, it's a new ballgame.
But, I will say that weeknights are not as busy as weekend nights.

I am planning for a Thurs., Fri., & Saturday at HHN, for Friday & Saturday, I plan on getting the express passes. For Thursday, we are going to "wing it".

Sorry, I know that's not a ton of help, but it's all I can do. :)

We will be there Friday 10/8 for HHN. We are just there for the day (staying over at WDW with our vacation club). Is it true that you can only get the express pass for HHN at the park on the day of the event, first come first served? Can it be purchased anytime that day, and does anyone know how much extra the express is and what time of day the express option usually sells out? Sorry for all of the questions!

They are selling them on-line at univacations for $21.30 plu $3 s/h. Here is a link click
At the right click on "Tickets Only".

Last year we went mid week and lines were 90-120 minutes +++ for each house, now considering that HHN is not open all that long on mid-week nights we bought a express pass in advance and were very happy that we did. We did all the houses, rides and Bill and Ted's and finished just before the end of the night. I say it's WELL worth the 20-25 $'s. I will be buying it again this year. We went on a saturday once... only did two houses, 2 1/3- 3 hour waits. Not sure about this year because of both parks, BUT this may also attract more crowds, etc.
