Hey Folks!

We'll be headed to Orlando for just one day/night, specifically for HHN on our 3rd anniversary...

Since we'll be there on 10/30, a non-peak night... Does anyone have any Commando-style suggestions on how to do as much as possible in the 5 hours they are open?

Before you type the words "Express Pass"... My hope is to try to do without it, since...well... I'm seriously strapped for cash these days...

I read on another board a suggestion of going to the right and doing the Drive Inn first because its exit is near the entrance to another house... Makes sense to me... any other ideas?

I await your responses, oh wise and all-knowing HHN fans!
(Man, we can't WAIT to get there!!:hyper::hyper: )

My sister went on Sunday, and she said she didn't have to wait more than 35 mins.

As for your plan, let me ask you this: How important is Bill & Ted to you? If it is High Importance, then I suggest heading left and seeing the first showing, plus getting the Funhouse of Fear done.

If it is of medium/low importance, then grab a map/show time so you can keep track of when the showtimes are. Head left, and do Screamhouse Revisited. From there, continue on to All Night Die In and work your way around, squeezing in Bill & Ted for the last show. If you have time left, do an attraction or two in the dark. JPRA, Doctor Doom, Hulk, and Dragons are all amazing at night. Even Storm Force is better then.

Assuming you do the Stay and Scream:

Do Psychoscarepy when it first opens. This will open before any of the other houses. Then go to Die In, Screamhouse, Ship of Screams, Funhouse of Fear, and Jungle of Doom. If you do it right, you should easily be able to hit the 9:00 Bill and Ted show. After this, just repeat your favorite houses, explore the scare zones for the remaining time, and catch an Infestation show if you want to see that. All the houses can be done before 9 if you hit them systematically in that order.

Rocket-
Thanks for the info! Printed out your TR (great job on that btw!), and that's the order I'm planning on following.
Now, just how wet do you get on Ship? Might only do rides after Scream.
Thanks again!
Jim

Seems like a great plan.
Maybe we should agree on that order for the meeting on the 19th.
That way, if anyone is late or can't do the stay and scream, they'll know which direction we're heading and can look for us as we head towards the front of the park.

SoS doesn't get you too wet. The final scene is the main part where there is water falling on you. It's basically like a light to moderate rain for the scene. There is a big spray of water shooting low over the path. So you'll be fine unless someone decides to be mischieveous and hit that water with their hands.

As for the plan, we could easily hit up the houses that way without a line. So, we may want to go with that and then use the house Express passes(which I probably won't get) after B&T when the lines for the houses are about the highest.

Our express wont be valid for Bill & Ted unless we go to the first show. But I do like the method you said, rocketman. I nominate you to be the leader of our motley crew.

I don't think we'll need the express book either if we're at the Stay and Scream area, waiting for the "go" signal, and walk quickly to Psychoscarepy.
The Sunday we go, will end a 5 night run, with kids being out of school Friday the 17th. Everyone should have already come Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
I've got an idea Rocketman. Those who don't want to buy the express booklets will jog to the next house, get in line, and wait at the entrance as those with express books catch up.

I do like to think I plan going to parks well. Last year I went on a sold out peak night and did every house twice plus Bill & Ted in the front center sans Express Passes. So, nonpeaks are a breeze!:D Stay & Scream is huge though, by the time you do all the houses, those waiting outside will just be getting in line for their second.

Thank you Dark Marauder and rocketman23 for your tips! I will write them down and try to come to a logical plan on flow pattern (Lines are usually shorter during shows and get longer quickly right after a show lets out).

Unfortunately, I won't be able to join you guys for the 10/19 meet (as badly as I'd really love to meet all you guys). I feel so left out! :(

To clarify, we won't be doing the stay-n-scream, will probably be tooling around City Walk waiting for time to get in line for HHN.

I know it's weird to fly down just for one 5 hour event, but we've been doing HHN every year for 3 years and...well.... We can't stand the thought of not being there for a forth.

I'll look for lime-green ribbon and hope somebody finds us on 10/30.
