HHN 25 - Tickets are up on the website!!!!

Cool! I'll be waiting for them to release the passholder ROF + Express...says its coming soon!

I booked my hotel and ticket package already. Just waiting on RIP tour information.

Yeah, we couldn't get the RIP either. The girl we keep bothering (harrassing on the phone everyday) knows the price but said they weren't for sale yet. Then how does she know the price? Weird. :scratchin

What happened to the email we were supposed to get when they went on sale? I sure didn't get one. Anyone else?

I never got the email either.
I called around 10:30am today to try and book. The girl I was on with couldn't get the package price to come up, as the system was being updated with the information. She told me call back around 11:30am, and to keep eye on my email for an announcement she couldn't yet tell me about. I assume she was referring to the Freddy vs Jason announcement.

I wouldn't think it strange that she knows the price for the RIP. They've probably got some reason they aren't releasing the RIP for sale yet.

Like I did last year, I'm hoping to get the RIP for at night, and do the behind the scenes tours during the day.

Just called to check, and was told to check back in a couple weeks. The tour information should be released by then.

I'll still keep checking the website constantly anyway!

Just remembered something else to do. Make a reservation for Finnegan's during the time we'll be in the holding area before HHN opens for the night. At least, the night I was there last year that street area is where the holding area was.

P.S.- still haven't gotten the ticket on sale alert email.

You really should because even yesterday afternoon on the phone she said she didn't know the date that they'd release ANY type of ticket, yet.... bam, they're up today.

Well...I got the email earlier, but the links aren't advancing...did Didney IT Dudes take over USO's?....(Actually, it's probably the Comcast employees that couldn't cut the mustard at the cable office!) 8-)

A little confused with all the ticket options. We'll be going for the first time this year.

For the HHN add-on, it says it must be purchased in conjunction with a day ticket. Does this mean we have to buy our day tickets directly through Universal? I was planning on buying the 2 day get 1 free tickets from Undercover Tourist. If we do have to buy them directly through Universal, when I try to "check out", it's only giving me the option to purchase 1 day park tickets. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

all past years you could buy the add on ticket (hhn) by showing your day ticket at guest services.
and, when you bought the add on ticket, it didn't have to be on the same day you were in the park.

if you bought your day tickets on line, call to buy the HHN add on ticket.
give the TM your order number on those day tickets and they can verify you did buy day tickets.

just now see you didn't buy from UO or from anyone yet.
if you do the ones from UT, well, you can buy the add on tickets once you are at the parks then.

now if this policy changes this year, it's news to me.

Thanks for the info! Does HHN ever sell out? The only night we can go is 10/28, which is the Wednesday before Halloween. Coming from WDW, we're used to the urgency on these kinds of purchases ;)

Some nights do sell out.
Also, keep in mind that this year is the 25th for HHN. More houses, scare zones, and scare actors for this year.
I'd plan on more than usual crowds this year.

my first year for hhn was 1999.

the only recent dates that were sell outs that i can remember were some saturday nights.
a few friday and sunday on the columbus day weekends were packed and ep's did sell out those days during those nights.

i stopped doing saturday hhn nights back in 2007.
too overly crowded for me.

i would not worry about a wednesday, specifically the 28th being a sell out.

$252 for a day ticket, halloween addon, and express pass for the party. Thats a 150% increase over a normal days admission. Its our first year going but not sure we want to shell out almost $900 to visit a theme park for ONE day (3 people). Yeah the EP isnt a must but for us being first timers who would like to see it all it is.

totally understand.

i drop a small fortune on my hhn stays.

a room onsite for 14 days, hhn pass and ep for each night i do hhn, private tour, it all adds up...
ouch

after doing this for years, i have become numb to the costs i put out, but once i am on the plane to return home, i'm already starting the next year's hhn trip.

I'm with you.......worth every penny......or cent :D

I got an email through the AP emails saying tickets were available last night. So excited! Though I have a ticket question.

HHN add ons for my day (7th oct) is $49.99 (plus tax) for regulars. On the AP ticket page it states that an individual ticket (not add on) costs the same at $49.99. Great saving on the regular individual cost of $101.99. But there is no mention of add on ticket price for AP. Would I be correct in assuming that it would be the $49.99 plus discount? Confused!

btw is add on what they're calling stay and scream now?
