pirate: Does anyone know what days of the week that HHN is usually? I am trying to plan vacation for next year. I know Friday and Saturday but any weekdays?

Starts off a Friday/Saturday first weekend.

The second weekend usually adds a Sunday, and the week after that usually adds a Thursday.

That third weekend sometimes adds a Wednesday, but thats only for that one week.

So typically you're safe in assuming that HHN runs Thurs-Sun (Especially starting the third weekend of the event)

Hope that wasn't too confusing

Wow, HHN16 threads already. Just goes to show how popular the event is.

The first weekend is worth going and not too crowded. The first night is on a Friday. I go the next night on Saturday. Best idea is to be in the park by 4pm, and head to the stay and scream area. A line will form of people waiting for the first house.

If you look at park hours on the Universal site for October, the nights where the park closes at 5pm are HHN nights. 2006 hours have not been posted yet, but you can look at the hours from 2005 to get an idea.

how busy are Thursday nights? We will be there Oct 22-Oct 29 so plan on doing last weekend in October. We were there three years ago and my husband and I decided to try it and have been looking forward to it ever since. Only problem is I have to go Oct 26-Oct 29 because I will have babysitting services through staying at Disney on-site. Before Oct 26 we are
staying at Nick hotel and there is no babysitting which now I don't think will be a problem due to the fact I don't think HHN is on the M,T,W considering these posts. But which day? Thursday I would think is slower.

Thanks for input! :rotfl2:

It's packed on just about any night, but I'd say Thursday would be better.
Friday night usually has people taking their dates.
Think about it, visit a local resturant on a Friday night and it's usually packed, because people get off work, and want to go out.

very true! Can't wait!!
