Will this be warm enough for swimming (not necessarily at the beach, but at least the pool)? We were thinking of heading down for 4 nights and definitely want to swim.

It is my understanding that is Disney policy now to keep the pools at 82 degrees. I don't know if this applys to HHI in the winter months, but I would surely think after March they would.

The average lows for the time frame you are talking about is 58, and the average high is 77. So it is really going to be toss of the dice on any given day. Since you're from Ohio you can probably tolerate some cooler air. Especially after a long winter. Good luck

It does sound like a toss up. I'm sure my kids would manage to get themselves into the pool, I'm just not so sure if I could.

You're getting into May where it definitely warms up here! But, the weather can still be a little dicey! You could hit a week where it's 80 degrees or a week where it's in the 60's. Most likely, it will be in the mid 70's and you should be able to swim a lot. Ocean temps are still a little cool for me but you all are definitely more tolerant of lower water temps! We're a little whimpy and like our water temps in the 80's at least!:)
