HHI - Food Delivery Question / Kroger vs. Publix

Hi.

Although we won't be at Disney's HHI, we will be there on Friday since we own a dedicated three bedroom at Waterside by Spinnaker.

Last year, we used a shopper like wegoshop but this year, I am using Instacart since the wegoshop is no longer in business (and we have had good experience at Disney using Instacart).

For those that own at Disney (or anywhere) HHI, have you used Instacart and which store do you prefer? My options are Kroger vs Publix, both of which are not located in NY where I live. We will be doing a full foodshopping and will also order beer.

I prefer Krogers. They are less expensive and seem to have a better variety. But we have shopped at Publix and that was fine also. The Krogers in HHI is huge and their wine/liquor selection is awesome. Hope that helps.

I just went on to Instacart and looked for wine/beer at both Kroger and Publix and it said alcohol wasn't available for delivery. I will see if I have enough room in car for two cases since we like different things as well as the wine. I order from Publix and alcohol in Disney so this is disappointing.

Sorry, That could be strictly a SC law. I know that in NJ they have a lot of strict rules for getting alcohol delivery. Hope you enjoy. We will be there last week of August through Labor Day.

Enjoy. I live in NY and dont know about the NJ laws but my dd boyfriend lives in Jersey City and sometimes they get wine delivered instead of going out to buy it (they have gotten ice cream delivered too lol).

Yes, you can get delivery, but there is out of state rules, etc, etc. we haven’t done the ice cream thing, but have considered! I grew up in Jersey City and live a little further north now in Hackensack.
