HHI - Dec. 26 - 7 Month Window

We are interested in making ressies for HHI for the period of Dec. 26-30, 2004. Our home resort is VWL, so we will be in the 7 month window. We want a 1BR. How difficult will it be to get a 1BR at 7 months for Dec. 26-30 at HHI? Would this be one of the occasions when I should try day by day?

I would call the first day and check availability. I don't know whether this is that much of a "high demand" time for HHI.

This year, the resort was sold out for the week of New Year's.

A 2BR is probably "doable" at 7 months; a 1BR may be more difficult since there are so few of them.

All you can do is try. Maybe have a backup plan of fewer nights in case all you can get is a 2BR? (Or you can hope for cash reservations further down the road as well.) Good luck!

You know, I had not even thought about a 2BR but after checking the points we could easily do that and since we are taking our grown daughter with us probably, it would work out much better. Thanks loads for this suggestions.

I have to get out of this mindset of getting the "cheapest" unit possible. In times past when "paying" for a room, I always just got what was cheapest, but with DVC it is an entirely different situation.

I only own points at OKW, for the last years I got a 2B at HH for NYE week, the first time at about 3 months out and this last time at 7 months, and both times had all my requests met. I don't think you shall have any problem with a 2B.
