HHI cash ressies

I'm hoping someone can help out this computer-ignorant person.

I'm trying to find out what the room rates are (cash not points) at HHI. I'm sure the info is out there somewhere but heaven knows I can't find it. And please don't send me to the member website because I never have been able to access it.

I can never find the cash rates for HHI or VB either. I just use Expedia / Travelocity or other booking engine to get the cash rates. Then if I'm really serious about going, I call MS to see if they can do better.

For example, I just tried expedia for May 4 & 5. Rates are $210/night for a studio and $280/night for a 1 bedroom. I aassume those are before tax.

Sometimes I just google - "Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort" rates. Lots of links to try when I do that!

P.S. I don't think the members' website has cash rates for any of the resorts. If it does, I've never been able to find them!

When are you looking for? I do know that for November, with the DVC discount, it's around $120/night for a one-bedroom and a little less than $90 for a studio. For that price, this coming Thanksgiving will be on cash-it's just not "worth" it to use our points when cash rates are so inexpensive. Now, summertime might be a different story.

we went to HH, last Thanksgiving.

We really didn't care for a HH trip that time of year.

We always enjoyed the fun stuff to do around the shelter cover area, but we found that at that time of the year there weren't the number of places open, or the fun stuff going on.

But that's just us.

The weather was a little cool, but heck it could be 80 this year.

I called and got the member discount prices for June 10-16. It is during the Magic season, and I believe Thanksgiving is as well (Nov. 21, 21 and 23). They quoted me $236 for a studio, $292 for a 1-bedroom and $326 for a 2-bedroom plus tax. All of the other days in November are in the Choice season. I am sure those days are much cheaper.

Edited: I just changed resorts on my DVC planner, and HHI is in the Choice season for all of November. Sorry!

I've had the member discount for studios at HH during TG on a few occasions and it's usually around $80. plus tax.
