HHI Availability for Owners in Spring and Fall?

It's been 15-20 years since my husband and I owned DVC. We always loved Hilton Head and are thinking of buying a contract there, but since DVC has grown so much since we last owned, we're concerned about availability when we would want to go. We'd be vacationing there in the spring or fall --- never the summer --- and would want a studio or a 1-bedroom. We know there are only 21 each of the studios and 1-bedrooms at the resort. How hard are they to get if you're an owner there? Are they hard to get shorter than the 11-month window?

If you are a hhi owner and book at 11 months, you should be okay.
