HHI Activity Schedule for week of May 18

I am working on a schedule for our stay (just the two of us) at HH from May 18 thru May 23. Can any of you HH Pros post a probable activity schedule with days and times for a typical Spring Week.

So far we know we want to do Tommy's Treasure Hunt, A Private Affair, Barier Island Beach Combing, Kayaking Excursion, Campfires, Goofy Bingo, Trolley Tour of Savannah, Harbour Town, Mini Golf, and dinner at: Old Oyster Factory, Alexander's and Red Fish. We also want to rent beach chairs and get in some serious beach time to read a couple of good books.

We have booked a one bedroom villa and we would like a marsh view. Any ideas on what building would be best?

The exact activity schedule for any particular week is usually not available until the Friday of the preceeding week. So, while the activities offered don't usually change that much, the days/times DO change, depending on the scheduling of the rec staff.

I would highly recommend choosing a night for your Private Affair and getting that set up as quickly as you can. The exact scheduling of the other activites will probably have to wait.

You might want to block out some days and plan them, even though you won't know which day of the week. For example, the day we tour Savannah, we will have dinner at Old Oyster Factory. Or the day of the kayaking trip we will play miniature golf. I think that's the best you can do for now.

Most of the 1BRs are in the main lodge and many of them have a marsh view. The only other one that has a marsh view is in Building 18, under a GV. IMHO, there are no bad locations at HH, so if you just request a marsh view, you will probably be fine.

Good luck with your request for a 1 BR marsh view. That was our request too, and although we REALLY wanted it (we thought), we got #1137, primarily a view of the inner woods. However, it was a very private balcony (unlike some of the balconies in other buildings), we could see the water from the main porch of the lodge, and by the end of the week, DH said "I hope we get this same room next time". I think it's correct that the only non-lodge march view for a 1 BR is #18
