We are headed to OKW 12/26-12/31/04. We have to leave on the 31st to drive back to Boston for DS to start school on Mon 1/03/05. we decided to stop for NYE at HHI and did not want to spend our points for a Friday night. Got the 1 bedroom for $123 with member discount. Not bad! We can spend NYE at the resort then leave in am for the treat up North!

That's great! We're hoping the Disney Visa offer that they had last year will be back in October '04. We want to go to HH, but are out of points - we'd love to get a really good price on a 2BR for three of four days. Hadn't thought about checking in to a member discount - may look into that.

We have Friday and Sat night after Thanksgiving reserved for cash and have a two bedroom at a DVC rate of $126. I guess it's a difference in seasons.

So for a DVC cash discount - do you call member services or the resort? I didn't realize we might be able to get such a good rate and thought I'd have to wait to see if the Disney Visa offered that again. I'm ready to call whoever to see what kind of rate I can get for a few days in October.

I just did a cash reservation to add on to my point reservation last week. I called CRO and with the FL res rate + disney visa code CCA, I was able to get a much better deal than what MS offered (25% off). So definately check CRO and MS (if you can with Hilton Head, not sure!).

in my case Fri, Sat in June studio at OKW was $418 for both nights + tax via MS, but because I was able to use a code with CRO, I was able to get $366 inc tax (get housekeeping too those two nights). Points were 24 a night, so not even buying points at $10 a piece would have beat the CRO rate.

Just thought I would add my experience. Good luck!

I'll definitely keep watching for specials as my dates get closer but right now the Disney Visa rate doesn't go into Nov.

Were you able to use your Florida resident discount "and" your Disney visa discount? I did not think they would combine discounts?

hi, yes, the code is CCA or CAA, I found it on mousesavers. It is for rooms between April and July only. I just did this Weds or Thurs no problem. Happy to help!
