We have a 5 yo DD who goes to bed about 8pm. Can the pool view at HH be too noisy after 8pm or are the rooms far enough away that it is never a problem? I would assume that the marsh views are pretty quiet, but are they far away from everything else that a 5 yo would enjoy? Since I've never been and I'm about to go down, I was hoping for the experts opinion on this issue.

The villas are pretty well insulated from outside noise, so you'll probably be OK with a pool view. There are only 3 buildings with a view of the pool (#23,25,26) and there are only 2BR villas in these buildings. There are 6 villas in each of these buildings- so there are very few pool views available.

The resort is very compact, so nothing is far from anything! You should be fine with any location.

Enjoy!

Thanks Doc. We'll be in a 1BR so I guess the pool view is out.

There are a total of 21 1BR villas (and 21 studios). 16 of these are located in the lodge area and the other 5 are found beneath the GV's in the resort buildings.

About 1/2 of the 1BR's will have a marsh view and the others will have an island view- which can range from woods to other buildings.

Our favorite is a 1BR in the lodge with a marsh view. We've seen otters and dolphin from our balcony as the tides change in the Broad Creek Marsh. There is also an elevator and parking garage for the lodge villas.

Enjoy!

Thanks, Doc. You are always so helpful to us not "in the know". I'd love a marsh view, I think, so I'll try to look into the lodge. Thanks for the heads up. You're great!
