Hey Tikiman after reading your trip report it sounds like the concierge sevice has slipped a bit. We booked a trip for Lagoon View for 11/30/02-12/4/02 and I was kind of concerned if we made the right decision? You probably don't remember my wife and I but we ran into you and your wife in July 2001. Also sorry to hear about your cat, we just lost ours too and I know how it hurts. Hey Chip,

I remember you from last summer. I would say out of all our trips it was not as perfect but it was still great. I think the difference I saw was with our other trips it was all concierge staff that had been there a while. This year there were newer staff that just sort of do their job but there were some new staff that were great also and some of the original concierge staff is still there and make up for any of the new staff that is not the best. They took care of everything we needed and we even spent part of an evening chatting with some of them about the resort and the plans for the new concierge. Chef Dick was still in the lounge and was wonderful as ever and Scott was gone but a new guy Robert was very friendly and helpfull. The only problem I really saw myself was the one day we did not have our room cleaned till 4:00 but that was just because of all the people checking out after the 4th of July week. I would still return and I still think they have made us feel more welcome than any other resort concierge. We will be back but we need to take a few other trips first.
