Hey Sue,

did you see they created a pin just for you - Walt and Mickey holding a tennis racket.

You will have to get that one - don't you think.

Darlene

Yes, I so so so want the Walt and Mickey with the tennis racket! It would just ever so nicely in my tennis Disney pin collection.

Unfortunately, soccer and children are rearing their ugly heads and I will not be able to attend the event :(. I am low.

I would so dearly love that pin.

Another Holy Grail to add to my list!!!

I want it , I want it, I want it......

First of all....you look so cute when you whine......so go ahead and whine!

I wish I was getting this pin to trade to you, but unfortunately I am only getting the
'regular' ones......sorry girl......

I do have to tell you.....my son has been bitten by the tennis bug....his father and I used to play for fun years ago....we had even bought DS his own child sized racket. But, as with most things, the tennis bag got shoved to the back of the closet.
Well......DS comes home from school one day "hey Mom....guess what! We are learning tennis in gym class!" {I am still trying to figure out where a very small Catholic school gets the money for tennis rackets but that is a post for a different day!}
So, needless to say, I have been listening to the bang bang of a tennis ball against the garage and have been sitting on the front steps {the darn disc in my back won't allow me to stand to do this} hitting a ball back and forth to DS! So I may be sending him to summer tennis camp at YOUR house.....LOLOLOLOLOL

It's a wonderful sport for your child. You don't need a lot of players and it's a sport he can play when he gets older. And.....when I play against my garage....I ALWAYS win :) :) :).

There are some fine tennis camps all over the US and I am sure there are some close to you.
The tennis camps at the University of Kentucky are very good and are less than a mile from my house.

Unfortunately , I don't "play" much tennis in the summer ( I know ...hard to believe).

I am a tennis referee and run many tournaments.
July is taken up with the Boys'18 Super National Clay Court tournament where 192 testosterone filled 18 year olds converge into Louisville and play 8 hot , steamy, days of tough tennis. It's wonderful but exhausting. I get to see the future of US tennis.
John McEnroe, Jim Courier, and Pete Sampras played in this prestigious tournament.
James Blake won it !

Now, get your son out there and play some tennis!

Thanks for thinking of me Lynnie.

Susan
