It's a wonderful sport for your child. You don't need a lot of players and it's a sport he can play when he gets older. And.....when I play against my garage....I ALWAYS win

There are some fine tennis camps all over the US and I am sure there are some close to you.
The tennis camps at the University of Kentucky are very good and are less than a mile from my house.
Unfortunately , I don't "play" much tennis in the summer ( I know ...hard to believe).
I am a tennis referee and run many tournaments.
July is taken up with the Boys'18 Super National Clay Court tournament where 192 testosterone filled 18 year olds converge into Louisville and play 8 hot , steamy, days of tough tennis. It's wonderful but exhausting. I get to see the future of US tennis.
John McEnroe, Jim Courier, and Pete Sampras played in this prestigious tournament.
James Blake won it !
Now, get your son out there and play some tennis!
