How do you keep those glasses on your head on, say, Space Mountain? Do you need one of those elastic thingies? :cool1:

I take my glasses off before entering any ride. They are way too expensive to lose on a ride.

I personally can't see well without my glasses, but I have kept them on unless a ride goes upside down. I've never had a problem...except when I was at US, The Mummy ride, the ride operator made me taket them off.

I took them off for a long time, but started wearing them a while back. At first, I'd kind of hold onto them in sections - which makes for some really weird ride photos, lol. I usually wear them now and have never had them move, much less fall off. I suppose it could happen, so be prepared in case it does - they're probably not going to shut down the ride and crawl on the ground to find your glasses.....

I bring my sunglass case and take them off on rides. Don't want to lose my sunglasses in Disney then pay a ridiculous amount for a new, not so great pair at Disney.

Me too. Don't bring a bulky pair and the caes fits in my fanny pack

For those of you who take off your eyeglasses, does doing that make you more prone to motion sickness? LOL If I take off my glasses even in the car, well, look out below... :guilty: But these rides are over PDQ, right? :confused3

I wear mine on all rides. Yes, even RR. I have been on a couple of rides w/o them and was fine.

DH has lost his sunglasses on rides on EVERY trip to WDW!
On...
Dinosaur
Big Thunder Railroad
Space Mountain

Now I just expect he's going to lose them and I always pack a spare!

One thing I have done is go to my local eye care professional just before the trip and have them adjust my frames so they fit snugly on my head. They will get loose over time so it's a good thing to get them adjusted occasionally anyway. I have them do this to my non-prescription sunglasses as well.
