Haha, let me know when you go on your next trip. I'll have to move out of your way as you rush for those TSM FP! Better yet, I'll get a pic of the people dashing to the FP machines, and I can caption it, "Look, there's Coach81 on his game!"

Ahhhh, breakfast on the balcony at AKV....that will be me in December!

Wow...Fastpass guests 1 and 2? You guys are really serious rope droppers!

Did you go in the standby line after getting FP's? I've never gotten to see Mr. Potato Head because I always have a FP and have never used the standby line.

You will love breakfast on the balcony Abby. It's so relaxing to watch those animals roam as you wake up.

We were directly behind the TSM CMs as they walked up from the rope to the attraction. Since we were the first guests on the right, we were the closest ones to the FP machines. It was insanity!

We certainly went in the SB line after we got the FPs. Bryan, the boys, and I were the only ones in our group of 10 that had ridden it already. It was a first for everyone else. It was enjoyed by everyone! We were off the ride by 9:15 or 9:20 max.

What a beautiful view to have during breakfast . We didn't make it to DHS on SWW. We just don't seem to spend much time at DHS any more .

It was wonderful. It is my favorite view in WDW. It is so easy to get the boys to wake up when we are there. They just want to sit outside and watch the animals.

Bryan didn't want to much to do with the characters for SWW as much this time. He wanted to go just for the SWW specific items at the gift shop. If it weren't for that, we would probably skip it every once in a while. It is our least favorite of all the parks.

Sonny looked really content, AKV savanna is awesome! Love the intro to SWW.. the troopers are hilarious, Zach loves it!!! Ah yes, the "walk sprint" to TSM is always fun! Looked like a wonderful day!

He was. He sat out there every morning reading the itinerary I made for them while waiting for everyone to finish getting ready. I think we are really going to miss it next summer if we actually get VWL. It was a nice start to the day.

Yay, an update! Breakfast on your balcony to watch the animals sounds amazing. I love that about AKL.

Wow, that is crazy you were 1 and 2 at the FP line! Nice!

I feel like such a slacker with the lack of updates. Randy just came over to drop off something to Bryan and asked about the next update.

It is so amazing to eat while watching the savanna. It is so peaceful

I don't know that I'll be able to be 1 & 2 at that FP machine again. It was crazy. People are so vicious with the pushing and shoving to get that ticket. I will say that we walked the whole time and did not have to be reprimanded for passing the CMs for the "sprint."

I hope there continues to be no more name calling! Ah, that view, can't wait until Dec!! I cannot believe how rude and pushy people get at the TSM FP line. It is a fun ride but seriously

It seems to be that we are out of the clear with the name calling. He is doing a lot better now.

You will love the resort Mary. I know you checked it out when you came visit Leanne, but there's something about going there and knowing you are there to stay.

I'm with you on this. I walk ahead of my family so that I can have our FPs in hand by the time they get to the entry to the line. To some people it seems like this FP at 9AM when the park opens is make or break for the enjoyment of their trip. Lighten up ...I certainly told the pusher to wait their turn when she tried to push me out of the way. The funny thing is since we were 1 & 2 at FP machines 1 &2, there were a line of empty machines to my left. No need to push.

I was thinking about whether or not I could use just my Lesportsac bag when I go back for a Disneymoon. I don't know if I'd feel more secure having a backpack to fit more, but of course, who likes lugging around a bag around the park!

My eyes widened when I read that a woman tried pushing you to the grown for TSM FP. Um, people have GOT to calm down! Haha, I mean, it's not life or death!

If you remember, I considered getting a bag for myself before the trip, but decided against because Bryan normally is the carrier of the bag. The whole point of the backpack is that there is a place to put the souvenirs that Bryan gets for the boys throughout the day.

Totally agree!!! It's an attraction. The park just opened. You will get on the ride people.

I am anxious to hear how Star Wars Weekends went for you. This was our first time to visit during SWW and Hunter loved it!

Thanks Lisa! This was our second SWW. We make sure we don't do the same things every time. We didn't do a lot of the character interactions this time. We'll save it for another visit. Gotta keep the visits fresh!

We learned from experience last SWW.. Zach, myself, and Cylar went straight to the big man himself.. first.. VADER!!!!

Then we got some other pics with other chars..

We really enjoyed SWW.. it was a great time.. Z & Cylar had a blast..

Going to miss it this next summer.. but I'll tell Harry you said Hi!

After we left TSM, we headed over to the SWW gift shops. Bryan discovered the coin collections last year and decided he wanted to get them every year. We know the line grows throughout the day, so we went there right after TSM. The boys and I looked around a bit while Bryan had to wait on line for the collectibles. He took longer than expected, so I took the boys across the way to go play in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground. They had a blast!!! Madeline and I found a spot to sit in the shade near the exit, and the boys went off to play.

While sitting there talking, we noticed a guy near us who had decorated his Mickey ears for his day at SWW.

The boys continued to play. Before I knew it, we had been there letting them play for an hour! Bryan came to finally meet us. By this time, it was about time for lunch. We gave the boys about another 15 minutes before we rounded them up to go eat.

We decided to eat lunch right next door at the Studio Catering Company. I have read so many negative things about this place, but I noticed the menu had changed right before we left for WDW. I figured we'd give it a try. SUrprise, surprise! We really enjoyed it!

The boys had the nuggets and fries. They gor 4 or 5 nuggets and a whole bunch of fries. More than what I thought was needed for a kids meal.

Madeline had the buffalo chicken sandwich. She really liked it, but it was way too big.

I had the chicken caesar warp with a side of fries. It was really good even though you can't see anything inside in the picture.

Bryan had the turkey sandwich. He said it was exxcellent.

After eating lunch (we left as the lunch rush was starting), we headed across the way to the Backlot Tour. Bryan and I had not been on it in a decade, so it was the first time for the boys and Madeline. They really enjoyed the pre-show. Sam thought it was absolutley awesome.

When I sit down in the tram, I knew I was in for something when I sat in a puddle. How bad was it? You'll see...

Wow! It's amazing how long kids can play and not even realize the time! I'm sure the boys had so much fun though. There's just so much to explore in the playground.

Mmm, those food pics look good! I wanted to eat there this past trip, but it was closed by the time we were ready for dinner. That buffalo sandwich looks good although I'm not supposed to eat anything spicy. It does look like a lot of food!
