Hey Mom, Check out my new Spider-Man move! (Last day & Final Thoughts - 1/10)

YAY!! So glad that the wonderful CM was able to fulfill all of your requests!! :goodvibes Can't wait to hear about Epcot!!

I had a feeling those requests would give me trouble. Remember. I even told you before we left that was the reason I wasn't doing the online check-in. I wanted to try as much as I could to get those requests.

I'll probably do it for next trip though. We've decided to change things up a bit and stay at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge instead.

Girl, you DO have the recipe for that hash-brown casserole, don't you? Or at least a similar one. I make it all the time - super easy and tastes just like Cracker Barrel. As a matter of fact, I don't order it at CB because we have it so often!

Mix a thawed package of frozen Southern style hash brown, a melted stick of oleo, a half cup or so of frozen (or fresh) chopped onions, a can of cream of chicken soup, a small carton of sour cream, and a two cup package of grated cheddar. Season with Tony's (or salt and pepper for you yankees), and I add a dash or two of Panola pepper sauce. Dump it in a 9x14 casserole dish, cover with foil, and bake at 350 for an hour. Then take off the foil and brown for ten minutes or so. Yummy.

YAY! You got there! That was great that the CM was able to work some magic for you and you got a room that fit more of your requests!

She was really sweet! She stayed on that phone longer than anyone else would and asked for them to check over and over again till she got what she was looking for. I love her for that!

Busy weekend here in the Trahan house. Bryan had to have a procedure on Friday to enlarge his esophagus. He had some narrowing going on which caused him to feel like he always had food stuck. This brought along some interesting times for me because he was given a mild anesthesia which causes temporary amnesia. Needless to say, it was a very funny experience with him. I brought the boys to see Karate Kid yesterday. It was actually really good. We went out for dinner before I went over to Randy and Alisa's house to watch Twilight. Chase wanted us to get together to watch the movies before Eclipse comes out, so we watched Twilight last night and will watch New Moon next Saturday.

Today will be filled with grocery shopping and laundry.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I hope to give an update to the start of Epcot either this evening or tomorrow sometime.

I love CB's breakfast, especially their hashbrown casserole! Glad you all had a safe trip!! Can't wait to hear more!

I can't wait to watch Karate Kid! Jayden Smith looks like he did a really good job there.

Ahh, New Moon. (translation: Taylor Lautner......:lovestruc)

Megan, I am finally all caught up :surfweb:. Great pictures :thumbsup2. I have never had the HB casserole at CB. We have two CB's here in Mobile, with one 5-10 minutes from my house. I haven't eaten at CB in almost a year .

Can't wait to hear all about your Epcot day.

Oooh you're there now! I love the photos of the approach, it gets me so excited for my upcoming trips! It's like I'm driving up with you. :)

Can't wait to hear about Epcot!

I missed two updates somehow. We love Cracker Barrel and have one less than 10 minutes from our house. My hubby nearly always orders their breakfast....with hashbrown casserole as a side.

Glad to hear that ya'll have arrived at your home away from home. The resort looks lovely.

Your son and his spiderman moves crack me up every time I see them. Too cute!

Looking forward to hearing about your Epcot day!

It was good! We thoroughly enjoyed it! The boys came home doing their own version of kung fu.

I re-read Eclipse already. Chase gave it to me on Saturday evening. I started reading it Sunday morning and finished it yesterday around 3. That series is just so good. I can never just put it down.

OMG! If there was one that close to my house, I would gain back every pound I have lost in the past year.

Getting ready to start my Epcot day for yall.

I love driving in as well. It is so exciting to see everything you have missed since your last trip.

It was a great day! I can't wait to share it with you.

That's okay. I have been too busy to long on the past couple of days that I am sure I have plenty of updates to catch up on with the TRs I read.

Kidani is so lovely. I really enoy our time there. I'm sure I'll miss it next summer when we hope to stay at Wilderness Lodge Villas instead.

He cracks me up as well. He was Spider-Man all over WDW.

Update coming next.

After moving the vehicles and getting to the bus stop, we were finally headed to Epcot!

My hope with this day was that we would be in the park by 10 AM. I was close. We were there by 10:05. Not a bad estimate at all.

It wasn't long at all before we were walking toward the gate. We were all happy to be there.

Now, here is where we did something new this trip. I had the backpack all packed and ready to go in the truck. Bryan did not want to bother bringing it, so this was our first time venturing into a Disney park without a bag in a decade. We'll discuss later how that worked out.

We all went through the turnstiles, and the tickets were handed over to Stacey and I. The plan was that she and I would go to Soarin to get FPs for everyone, while they went to TT to wait for us.

Well, Stacey hadn't realized how fast my walking pace was since I had started running. There were times when she jogged a bit to catch up with me. As we passed by the times board, I felt relieved looking at the wait times. They were not bad at all. We got the FPs and headed back over to TT. The return time was somewhere around 11:30 if I am remembering correctly.

We quickly walked over to...

...to meet up with everyone else.

I met up to see two kids with two very different looks on their faces.

Sam was excited to get on TT.

Cooper, on the other hand, was not happy. Measuring him at home, he was exactly 40 inches tall when he was wearing his tennis shoes and standing up straight. Today, he was cranky since he had been woken up so early. He just didn't want to cooperate. Therefore, he slouched when Bryan brought him to be measured. He was to the point where he was BARELY under the bar. He could not ride.

Bryan looked at me and told me to go ride without him. He said that he was cool if we got a FP for him to ride later. So, we all (sans Bryan and Cooper) hoped into the standby line. The posted wait time? 40 minutes...It was closer to 30 minutes though.

This was my sister Madeline's first time riding. SHe loved it. Sam had his hands in the air the entire time we were on the outside track. He LOVES that ride so much.

So, what's after Test Track?
