Hash brown casserole? That sounds so good! Too bad we don't have Cracker Barrels up here in Canada. I'll have to see if we can fit one in the next time I road trip down to the States.

Wow, everything was on time again! I know what you mean about missing exits. My DBF is notorious for not really obeying my traffic signals (I'm his GPS) and we end up making a LOT of loops. Not even u-turns. He's convinced that we'll find our way back if we make a couple of right or left turns.

Oh! Megan you guys need to come visit us (we are just about an hour and 15 min I think that is what I remeber when I was going to meet you)...we have a Cracker Barrel in Hammond don't know how Hammond snagged one considering Baton Rouge and Slidell both have one! But we won't complain!
Maybe we need to plan a day for you guys to meet us up here and than Ashton & I could head down to Houma...nee to think of something fun to do!

I love that you guys were there when the doors open! we have managed to close the place but never open it!

We took the "back door exit" to WDW and saw that wonderful sign once we got off the ramp!

The boys immediately began looking for the sign for AKL.

As we drove by places in WDW, the boys got excited about them. I remember hearing shrieks of "I see a Disney bus!" or "There's Blizzard Beach!" or "I can see the Tree MOM!". We pulled up to the guard shack and were told our first Welcome Home! I swear I love hearing them tell me that every time! We were given our parking tag and drove away to Kidani.

We're finally here!

We pulled into the temporary parking and began our way to the lobby to check in.

I didn't take other pictures of the lobby till later because I had a purpose - check-in, get the tickets, move the truck, and get on the bus to Epcot. I didn't do the online check-in at Kidani because I had 3 requests, and I wanted to do everything I could to get them filled. We wanted a room in the bead closest to the lobby, on the 2nd or 3rd floor, and to be somewhat close to my SIL's rooom.

Stacey and I approached the check-in desk at the same time. There was no one else checking in, so we had no wait. I let her do her thing and asked about the room requests when she mentioned our room was not yet ready. She showed me the room location. It was completely opposite of my requests - top floor in one of the last beads closest to Jambo House with SIL in the first bead next to the lobby. I asked if she could find something closer to the lobby. She said no problem and promptly asked the person on the line to give us a little magic. She said that they said there was nothing else available, but she asked them to look one more time as sweetly as she could. She hung up the phone and said they found a room that filled every one of our requests. YAY!!!! We were in the bead to the right of the lobby on the 3rd floor right next door to each other!

We finished up with our lovely CM, and then I moved onto Concierge so I could our tickets added on to our KTTW before heading out to Epcot for the day. I left the desk having everything in order, so we walked back out to the parking area and moved the truck to the covered parking near the Timon elevator. After locking up the truck, we headed over to the bus stop to wait for one to our first park of the trip - EPCOT!!!

We could always use more Spider-Man web slinging!

So what's on the agenda at Epcot?

Lucky duck! I wish I had one so close. Nothing but the Ihop and Waffle House near me.

I'm glad we were able to get the requests filled. I was hoping for at least one request, but I was happy we got them all.

He practices a lot. He's got the position down now.

She was sweet! I am upset with myself because I normally make a point of remembering CM names in situations like this, but alas her name escapes me! I love the rooms at Kidani! They are so spacious and fit the personality of my family so well. Epcot was a really full day! Can't wait to share it with yall.
