spent 6 months on a self induced message board hiatus... much needed break. jules had a stroke last wed so now busy playing maid/housekeeper/nurse/WARDEN/and chaufer. youngest dd just started her senior year....i no longer own my own business wentto work full time for lowes about 2 years back, and love it.

Firstly, Froggy...Im so sorry about Jules....I wish her a fast recovery! Both of my inlaws suffered strokes...my MIL, one big one...my FIL, several small ones. They are horrible. Prayers to you...

As for Spencer and Jake, we have added a new puppy...Charlie!! He is now 4 months old...1/2 golden retreiver and 1/2 yellow lab. He is a test of wills. Makes Spencer's tree eating days seem like a walk in the park. Really. I will post a pic of them when I can figure out how to do it again!!

I have taken a break from Dis-ing...I have been on Facebook a lot...running my business has been a real challenge, but very rewarding!!

I have to warn you...I see some crazy changes around here...not sure how long I'll be around. I got my first ever warning from the webmaster this morning. Never happened...Im shocked!!

me and the hubby before the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois walk on Chicago's lakefront...me and a couple of my instructors did the pre-walk warm up! Amazing!!

My Jazzercise center...this is what I have been up to for the past 2 years!!

...and again...Im so proud of that place!!

My grandson Branden...just turned 3, and I cant imagine life without him!! We are taking him to Disney in 10 days!!!

Hey Michelle, Great to see you, Spencer, Jake and now charlie.. I'm hardly on the DIS much anymore, my new business is keeping me really busy! Oh, I just celebrated my fifth anniversary of my transplant.. I'm off to Disney on 9/9 for several weeks!

You came to my defense about something long ago - so I haven't ever forgotten you. I mostly lurk here these days - I spend a fair amount of time on FB though.

Good for you on the Jazzercise studio! I started a small business myself about a year and a half ago. Home decor & gifts in a designer's mall. Not nearly as much fun (or time consuming) as what you are doing, I'm sure.

DD#1 is starting her junior year in college. DD#2 is a high school senior. My how the time flies!!

Stop in & say "hello" more often?

Closest one I can go to is 30 minutes away and that takes up a lot of time in my evenings so I don't go often enough. I loved it when there was a class just up the street from me. I was so skinny then!

Hi there Michelle.. Its nice to see you back on here.. I do remember you from before.. I remember Charlie and Spencer!!

I will look for you on facebook also.. I seem to spend more time on there lately and spending less on here.. I have been here a little more lately due to getting ready to go on our first Disney cruise.. I always seem to come back here when we are about to go on a trip..it gets me excited about going all over again..

So much has happened here at home this year.. Just been busy with family and such.. A good friend passed away early in the year.. then my grandmother got sick and passed away in April.. then my uncle passed away a month later and within weeks of that my mom had a stroke.. Me and DH are headed out Thursday on a Carnival cruise for a week then doing a 4 day cruise on Disney Wonder and then spending a few days with DMIL before heading back home.. We sure need this time away..

Look forward to seeing more of you! Your grandbaby is so cute!
