Made me look too! Hello to all the Kim's! I'm Kimberley Marie. Family calls me Kiki, friends call me Kim and work calls me Kimberley. I sit next to a Tim at work and don't usually answer if someone says Kim, cause I usually think they are saying Tim. Plus, Kimberley is easier to understand on conference calls.
There's been a lot of different spellings for Kimberley too I've noticed.

On the soap opera topic - I named my DD16 Kayla after Kayla on Days of our Lives. When I first named her that it was really unique, now it's so common. My youngest is Jocelyn Kimberly - still a unique name

My mother had never heard the name before and thought it would be unique My dad was on an aircraft carrier in 1971 and I guess a bunch of the guys had pregnant wives so they sat around coming up with names and my dad was the one who chose Kimberly and suggested it to my mom.

I was born in 1972 and my dad picked my name too. Makes you wonder if there wasn't a famous actress or pin-up girl by that name
