Thank you both for the wonderful pictures! Lisa, It was great to see pictures of you and your beautiful family! It's so nice to now be able to put a face with your posts! The boys are so cute!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry about the duplicate pictures in my share--I have changed the link, so if you ever want to relive it, it will only take half the time :)

I feel like packing now :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc but guess I better wait. The kids are more excited than ever now :earboy2:

Have a great Memorial Weekend everyone!

Liz

My reaction was to pack also...just wanted to rush home and get all ready.

It was a fun day and we really did have to restrain ourselves from swimming out to meet her!

Lisa and Liz,
You lucky girls, now I really can't wait to go. Great pictures. Lisa, your boys are so cute! Only 2 months and counting the days now.
Lisa - Thanks so much for the list, it really helps me (since I kind of jumped in here late) to know who is who. Also if you want to add occupations, my DH is self-employed/own construction company and I own my own scrapbook store. Thanks.
Everyone enjoy the weekend, we finally got some sunny and warm weather here in the NE. Thank God.
Is anyone doing any of the excursions in Cabo, we are not sure what to do there.
Debi

I don't know if any of you get the regular updates from Deb Wills Site All Ears Net, but she is on board the Magic and is posting live to her site. There is already some good stuff, very detailed. Go to the home page www . allearsnet . com (without the spaces) and click on the link at the top left.
Not long now!! :earsboy:

Great pics!! I have made contact with "Missing Bill!" He has been working two jobs (boat ramp and crossing guard) AND catching fish! Hopefully, he will send us all a copy of his digital catching a striper yesterday.....he's quite excited right now. :sunny:

Definitely check out the allears website by Deb, the pics and updates are great! :goodvibes

Our weather has been beautiful this Memorial Day Weekend (when do we ever say that??) Hopefully everyone around the country has had a nice weekend too!! :earsgirl:

Looking very forward to meeting you all! You have already met my DW Disneymom13. I have been lurking so to speak for awhile on these Disney boards. I am so psyched for this upcoming vacation it can't get here soon enough. This will be my first Pacfic Ocean dive! Dustin I did check out your dive operator in Cabo. They actually sound good. Did you book yet? I did book through Disney. If you don't mind me joining you I would cancel my Disney reservation. pirate:

My DH would be interested in joining you also. Since DCL only offered a 1-tank dive in Cabo, he was going to skip diving on this trip since we are going on the Marigalante Pirate Tour in PV. While in Cabo we had planned to take a water taxi ($2/person one way to the Melia/Mango Deck. I've heard that we can use the facilities at the Melia for free and enjoy their pool and beach. I guess I can take the kids there by myself so DH can dive. If anyone else would like to join me and the kids at the beach just let me know.

I just read DebWills new post on her website. The martini tasting sounds good. I don't remember that from our last cruise. Anyone interested?

Canopy
If anyone is interested my husband and I have explored the 3 canopy tours offered in PV and decided to go with Canopy Los Veranos. I have been e- mailing Sylvie and the responses have been prompt and detailed. The cruise critic boards are also full of praise for this tour over the one the ship's offer By booking on line the cost is $63 each, a $22 saving on the Disney tour. The only additional thing will be a cab ride to their office in town. From here they transport you in an open air truck to the rainforest site , this is south of PV inland from Mismaloya. After the canopy part of the tour there is a river you can swim in and a restaurant. We have booked the 2pm tour I can PM the web addy to anyone who's interested.
Dolphins in the Wild
In the morning we are planning to go out on a tour to see the wild dolphins with a marine biologist, this is offered on shoretrips, but I have been in contact with the owner. The boat can take 12 max it is 10 min cab ride from the port to the Puerto Marina. The tour starts at 9am and you are given a light breakfast and a talk about the dolphins. it takes aprox 30mins to go out and find the dolphins then you spend 90 mins observing them. Depending on conditions you are sometimes able to enter the water with the adult dolphins but obviously as they are wild this is up to the dolphins!
There is shade and drinks and granola bars provided, the trip gets back approx 12:30pm and costs 550 pesos approx $50. Again anyone wanting more info let me know

Ok,, I'm in for the martini tasting too!! ;)

Boy is this the BEST group or what this summer!! :Pinkbounc

Thanks for the awesome pictures. I am so psyched now! I think the wine tasting sounds fun, not sure if I can/will participate, but it does sound fun!!!

she does NOT like martinis..... :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

While you guys are tasting martinis, i'll be sitting by Scoops if anyone
is interested....maybe we could have a tasting of all toppings and fruit
while the girls are drinking their martinis.....ok? :mickeybar :mickeybar

I will be at the wine tasting, though.

ok, Deb Wills site is awesome - thanks for the 'heads up' on it.

i'm also starting to read Mazatlan Frank's site for ideas (silver jewelry!)

We do want to visit a beach in one of the ports, maybe Cabo?

Is anyone else booked for Palo at 11:00 on Monday, I believe there are three of us? :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Well, I know one of the nights, because of Deb, we won't be doing Palo -
we will now do Palo on Wednesday night, not Tuesday night - don't want
to miss Pirates night on Tuesday night, and the deck party.

Hey, let me warn you, if there is a dessert-tasting meeting, I'm there!
(somehow Lucy likes her food more than her liquor!-although the day we
got on the ship this past summer, they had the BEST drink I've EVER tasted
part strawberry dacquiri and part pina colada!)

Welcome Captain Nemo!!!!!!!!

Lucy
My husband will join you at scoops for sure , he doesn't drink but, loves his ice cream :goodvibes and most of the time I would agree with you food over drink anyday, but I do like a good martini and they've got food flavours... :rotfl:
We are doing Brunch on Sunday and Palo dinner on wed. I'm hoping for the lap rotation

Lucy-my DH would join you at Scoops also...he loves ice cream and is NOT much of a drinker...not Martini's anyway! So don't be sad!!! :flower:

Lucy, We are doing Palo for brunch on Monday at 11. May have to skip the martinis, not much of a martini drinker. Now if we are talking margaritas, thats another story. LOL.
