Lucy promised to be chatting more often, but retirement is SO BUSY...I don't recommend it:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: joking:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Bob and I did a tiny bit of Christmas shopping tonight....I say a tiny bit because that is all we must do this year, we LOVE it!:woohoo: :woohoo:
My "ticker" is looking GREAT, isn't it?

I can't find any of my Christmas CD's...I'm beginning to think Bob hid them....they include Barry Manilow, Johnny Mathis, Charlie Brown Christmas....now why would that man do that to me:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
NO, honestly, I brought them home from work back in June and haven't been able to find them.....:confused3 I did buy a new one tonight - Josh Groban - heard him on Oprah...beautiful voice and very sexy!:rolleyes1 :yay:

Sorry to hear about your principal, Joannster...that is so sad.

Sounding like we are going to get a winter storm on Sunday, the transportation department is already treating our roads...sounds like an ice event...Jennster...have you been hit by this storm already?

now i've got to 'try' to use a laptop.......remember, i'm technically challenged:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

i also don't know how to receive e-mail on this #$%&*** thing! :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:

Yes, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.................:goodvibes

Did lots of wrapping tonight, wish I was going to WDW instead!!:thumbsup2

We only got the rain. The northern part, Chicago, and Michigan got the snow and wintry mix. :cool1:

I am making a turkey today. I always buy one and cook it when we are home if we are not on T-giving. I actually didn't eat a single bite of turkey on T-giving. THe veggies were too good to pass up! We did have our annual deep fried turkeys at a tailgate a couple of weeks ago.:woohoo:

Lucy, you need to find the webmail site for your ISP. When I am away from home I go to the webpage and log in just like I would at home through the internet webmail.:scared:

We are waiting on bowl bids today. If Indiana gets the bid for Tempe Arizona we are cancelling Key West/Miami and going to Las Vegas/Tempe..... Oh the decisions!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Rolling/cutting out Christmas cookies on this wet, snowy, sleety day....good i made a double batch, Tyler eats them as fast as they come out of the oven....i don't like to ice and decorate - anyone wanna come over and do that chore for me, I'll make dinner too....Bob's hours are ugly this weekend.
I MAY make other cookies....would like to try some new recipes but everyone still likes only the cut-out cookies.

OK, Jennster, another chore for Bob (e-mail)....I have learned to turn on this laptop this weekend....big accomplishment for me!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Still haven't found my Christmas CD's....only have Celine Dion, the Candlelight Procession from EPCOT, and now I have Josh Groban (what a sexy guy)....

This morning I got a call from the nursing home - scared me....Bob and I bought my mother a country looking Christmas quilt for her bed and we had a huge stuffed snowman that I put on her wheelchair and the nurse called me to tell me how beautiful it looks (she did first say that my mom was OK)...well, that just makes me want to keep on decorating her room.....Bob does ALL the decorating here at home...but I told him to NOT go overboard since we won't be around at Christmas:yay: :cheer2:

My turkey is sure smelling good (and the dressing too). Sure wish I had some dessert to go with it. Maybe some cut outs???

Lucy.....I buy the Market Day sugar cookies already cut out! Bake and wa-lah!!!:wizard:

not in this family....baked goods are NEVER bought (with exception of birthday cakes)...BUT, i could SURE use a turkey dinner tonight....

Saw what game is on tonight....I will definitely be cheering for YOUR team today....can't stand Pittsburgh!:sad2:

I even volunteered to miss the Pittsburgh game at home this year when Mallory was sick. It didn't bother me at all. I have TERRIBLE memories of Pittsburgh games of past. One guy two years ago even accosted John and cussed him out because he had a Bengals shirt on and was cheering FOR the Bengals, not against Pittsburgh. :sad2: Picked on a 12 year old!!!! :confused3 My rules with my kids....cheer FOR YOUR TEAM......:woohoo: don't boo the opponent! :sad2:

BTW ~ John turned 14 yesterday!:dance3:

HB to John!! He's finally almost as old as he seems to me! I'd still say at least 15!:goodvibes :bday: party: :bday: What did he do to celebrate?

I've been shopping and wrapping all weekend..........sorry to mention it, but we're meeting some Med cruisers next Sat in NYC, just a day trip.....then we go to Miami on 12/14 to help Tara to pack up..............she'll be coming home and then off to Hamburg on 1/1............crazy that that year is already over!:thumbsup2 I can't wait until she's back in NYC this
summer ......................popcorn:: ........

GL luck with your Bowl plans for the New Year...

Question..........we talked about 2009 DCL didn't we? I'm pretty sure the info is coming out soon.......are WE planning to go and reunite as a DISgroup? I'll post the info as soon as it comes out.........:cheer2:

Stay dry all............:dance3:

We will be spending NYE in Tempe, Arizona with the Hoosiers!!! THe scheduled Block party at midnight has Barenaked Ladies performing! I have seen them before and LOVED THEM!!!

I am sure we will be going via Las Vegas. It's a 5 hour drive from Vegas to Tempe, so we want to set out from Vegas and drive over the Hoover Dam, to the Grand Canyon, then to Scottsdale, AZ!!!!

Bob and Lucy are definitely interested in a reunion......count us in, please:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: Let us know as soon as you hear something so we can book, ok?:worship: :thanks: Will the old geezer join us and the beautiful Alice - it wouldn't be the same without them.:sad2:

Hi guys - it's me the long lost city girl - sorry I haven't been on in a while, just trying to catch up on 2 month's worth of posts - yes it has been that long.

We got a new puppy at the end of October - I picked her up at a shelter in Long Island - she is a (yellow) lab mix and is cute as anything. Her name is "Bleu" and she helps to cheer our house up a little.

I have been in a real funk lately, guess that's why I haven't been on. Thanksgiving was kind of depressing - Alex went to Ohio with her boyfriend (which I was not happy about) and Micco, Briana and I had dinner at my in-laws - there was only 6 of us - too much stuff going on in this now dysfunctional family.

Not into the Christmas spirit at all - when I finally got around to decorating the other night, I lost it when I pulled Chivas's stocking out of the box - haven't done hardly any shopping, and just can't get into it.

Not sure if we will be doing the cruise next year either - it is not looking good, and I am very depressed about that too - thought that giving up the cruise this year, we would be able to do next year's - I was really looking forward to it too....oh well.

Well just wanted to stop in and let you guys know I am thinking of you!

Debi

Congrats on the new puppy.............send us a picture!!!!! Glad to have you back..........isn't your special day coming up!!!:dance3:

Happy special day this month Deb.....i'm really sorry i don't remember the exact day:cool1: ....congrats on the new puppy:woohoo: - more work than a baby?:confused3

Actually, wanted to check on my ticker....it is looking good, isn't it?:yay:

again, baking cookies while bob works today, he'll be home around 5 today and then off monday and tuesday.

This week rain predicted every day - gross. I just hope it is nice NEXT Monday for my hand doctor appt. - i am no longer sleeping, weird but I can't hold a newspaper anymore - my hand falls asleep, tingles, and at night, every night, throbs in pain - both hands, that is....i know i won't have anything done before Christmas but maybe he can suggest some relief (I DO wear hand braces every night and that doesn't help) - I believe he could give me a shot, let's say, I hope.

Next Sunday we are having my family Christmas get-together since we'll be gone on the day - hopefully we can bring my mom home again, as we did at Thanksgiving. Making a big dinner. NO presents for Bob and me - going to Disney is 'present' enough!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :santa: :santa:

Well...........who's onboard??? We've booked the Tortola Eastern Caribbean DCL cruise on 7/18/09...........come on..........peeps................:cool1:

Sorry LuLu, hope the hand feels better soon.............

Greetings from across the pond, I have no idea where this autumn has gone to one minute I was in Barcelona with Joanne and family and now it's Christmas!!
Ok our news, we have had our fair share of family berevements thsi year and so visiting relatives has been up there on the list. Our last piece of sadness I'm sure Debs will relate to we had to have our 8 year old bunny put to sleep.

We are now the proud mum and dad of a baby boy bunny called Buster 12 weeks and a little Dainty 8 week old lady bunny who hasn't got a name yet she only joined us yesterday. Buster is adorable but you forget what demands a young animal makes on you once you have got older with your old pets. Lots of training going on here at present!

Work issues have settled down and Keith has got a weeks leave for new year and a whole month off next summer for our Panama extraveganza, I really hope Debi can join us.

On that note happy Birthday Debs, thank you so much for letting me play NFL again I've loved it on a sunday night and I really emjoyed my trip to Wembley.

Jez is excited too and I hope you realise you've let an english lad into the playoffs I don't think anyone will beat Debi though.

Debi and Jenny I managed to get pins for you even though they were selling like hotcakes so I've posted them this week hope you get them ok.

We're taking a break from Disney in 2009 and cruising the Hawaiian Islands with our friends from Maryland, I'm sure any of you would be most welcome.

We are still hoping to get back to NYC sometime soon and Florida for Halloween 08 or Xmas is on the cards.
Would love to meet up with you guys sometime again we have such fun with you.
Bill I haven't forgotton your pics and I will get to it in the christmas holidays.
I finsih school on the 22nd Dec but the next two weeks will be manic, we are allowed to celebrate in school over here so it's parties, productions christmas fairs and church services from now until the end of term, have a happy December all of you
Love Lynn
