So that's who Jez is...I too, am honored to have him playing with us.

It was quite amusing in the draft room last night, Bill was being a bad boy.

Lynn Anytime is a good time, Feb or March, weather can be iffy here. And you know you guys are always welcome to stay here!

Anyway, I haven't even started to pack yet...couldn't get into it last night after the draft, so I guess I have no choice now. Got most of the laundry done though. Heading out for my nails at 10, and then the spa at 2:30.

Just wanted to wish Bob a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY tomorrow since we will be leaving for the airport at 6 a.m

Probably won't get on again today, so enjoy your week all, and I will touch base when we get back.

Gonna go now and see if I can try to get tix for Oprah in NYC.

we will be in NYC...it is going to be SO HOT! No need to worry about me falling and the sidewalks...I think I'll stay indoors the whole time!

Tyler has asked a few friends to join us to see Rent (original actors/actresses)...it probably won't be my favorite but it should be a fun day with the kids.

was very, very hot!

But, let me tell you, the kids we took along were so impressed by EVERYTHING. Our first stop, of course, was the Marriott and Starbucks...I thought those kids would sit there forever and stare at that lobby...it is always our first stop.

Then we walked - I wanted to go over to Saks and see their new floor of shoes...guys (I know Debi heard this) - they have their own zip code for the building - the floor is SO HUGE...it was fun to see and pick up a shoe and see the price...I really wanna take JoAnn's girls THERE!

Then we took the kids into St. Patrick's Cathedral - they were totally impressed with that....over to Hard Rock for Lunch (not my favorite place but for kids, they like it)....the show? We had seats in the second last row in the balcony....you could see very well...these kids didn't BREATHE during the whole show....don't ask me my opinion of the show but to see Bob and these kids enjoy the show THAT MUCH, it was worth every penny
THEN came the stage door....one of the main actors (Anthony Rapp) came out in that heat for the longest time (he was totally mobbed) and gave autographs and pictures. (of course Adam Pascal never came out)
Me? I walked across the street and watched the actors/actresses from Mary Poppins come out the stage door (again) - they are so nice to the little kids....they didn't stay out very long, due to the heat, and I had a fun time talking with the guard at Mary Poppins...but the guy from Rent stayed out forever...our kids got his autograph...talk about stars in their eyes!
AND, Joannster, even though it was 100 degrees, I had two Starbucks coffees...and I DIDN'T FALL DOWN!

School starts for Tyler tomorrow , NOT ME!

I'm working tomorrow so.......191 teacher days to go.........our kids don't start
until next week!

Rent is a good show, but you were probably happier in the back.......some of the songs are quite intense and loud..........we had TKTS tix in the orchestra and it was alittle close when we saw it!!

Glad you had a good time...........glad you didn't fall.........glad you had the SBs..........where the heck is everyone???

when it comes to Tyler and schoolwork, you can't wait till it is OVER...MAN, do we have a long time to go!

I worked SO hard on my first REAL day of retirement (I call this my first day since Tyler wasn't here and my university started today). Took a walk for an hour, cleaned up the house, , made a full supper, and getting the house ready for the little baby girl tomorrow . But, got a GREAT supper, it is now 5:34 pm and noone is home yet! hmmmpphhhhh

AND those Bolusi's are relaxing in Cancun...good for them!

Hi,

I just discovered these boards a couple months ago and have been joining the discussions (especially on the thread for our cruise on 7/27/08).

Yesterday I noticed that this thread was still going. My family and I (14 of us) were on the 7/30/05 cruise. I even found some of us in one of the pictures that one of you posted of the sail-away party.

That leads me to my question. I haven't looked through all the posts, but I didn't see many pictures from that cruise. Are they posted elsewhere? We have LOTS of pictures, but it's always interesting to see others.

How weird is this...one of our 'groupies' (jlawall) will be going on the Mexico cruise again, ONE WEEK before your planned trip. My husband and I are going on the Panama Canal cruise, east to west. I personally don't have pictures to post, but maybe some of the others?

Nice to hear from you, Captain. Hope to be sailing with you on one of YOUR new ships (my personal preference being the new ships stay in Carribean or Hawaii--thought you might want to know MY opinion)

Lucky (loosey) here wrote a very LONG post earlier this evening and it didn't come thru ....BOY, does that ever make for a VERY grumpy Lucky....
Why, it was such a funny post, I cracked myself up (thanks Jennster for that line)

Maybe "it" was taken off on purpose because I was SO angry at everyone because I had to chat with myself ....you know, I get tired of talking to myself ....I do it all day long, since I'm retired (except when I have my precious little girl, which will happen again tomorrow)

Oh, and Tom, if you check back in with this group, you must know that I am technically challenged (as said by my hubby) and putting pictures on the computer....WAY BEYOND MY KNOWLEDGE
Heck, I just learned where to press the button on the digital camera!
AND, to top that off, I just learned to text message on my cell, after having a cell phone for about 3 years!
