Hi everyone
I did a Lucy on this thread about a week ago I typed a really long reply to you all, telling you about my inspection etc and then my computer suddenly lost connection and I couldn't summon the energy to do it all again!!!
I'm sorry!
But Jo ann is right my inspection went beautifully and the school came out really well.
The funeral went as well as funerals can
my US visitors came and we were able to spend lots of time with them .
This Saturday I spent all day at Wimbledon, was on centre court saw Venus win Fedderer in the semis and of course our Jamie Murray win the quarter and semis.

When does FF start Debi, I can't wait.
Jenny sorry to hear the news about your SiL send an english cuddle to Mark

Have a greta time at the beach, I've begun to count down myself now 12 more working days!!!

I'm so jealous that you saw Venus live, I am such a big fan of hers....I hope you cheered really loud for her!

Congrats to Bri, we let Jess drive home today and I was a nervous wreck!

If anyone can fill the two seats, I still have two $70 tix for MP, don't ask! I'm trying to get the girl's friends to take them but so far, no luck!

We're very excited to be in NYC next weekend, Ken, myself, Tara and Tracy are coming and Tracy's friend (Jess will be in soccer camp in Rhode Island) We're staying until Monday (Ken has to leave on Sunday to pick up Jess) and I'll be dropping Tara off at the airport Monday afternoon.....so we can probably do something fun on Sunday night, if anyone is interested!!!

Lynn - I am glad you checked in. I so hear you about losing posts.....very frustrating! I am glad all went well with the inspection; however I had no doubts in my mind that your school is a great place!

So, Lucy, have you recovered yet?

Our flight is at 5:45 a.m. Why Mark did that early of a flight is beyond me, but the airport is a 3 1/2-4 hour drive (we saved over $500 flying out of Columbus, OH!!!!) Anyway, we are leaving home at midnight tomorrow night to make the drive. Mark is coming home early and sleeping before we leave.

I will e-mail everyone my cell just in case. I still have all of yours. I always turn it on when we get up in the a.m. My mom has the tendency to call early when we are on the road to see "what we are doing". Not cool when you are asleep and were up late at night!

I have devoted my day Sat. and Sun. to hanging out with you guys. I am game for almost anything. I will have M&M tagging along since they are not going to the ballpark with M&J. One thing we thought would be fun, is Sunday night at ESPN Zone for Sunday Night baseball. The kids like the Zone because of the games, etc. They have pretty good food (at least they did in Atlanta, Chicago, and Las Vegas!).

I am still lobbying for Bill and Alice to come. Take those tickets off JoAnn's hands!!

My SIL still hasn't heard from the PET Scan and won't until late in the week. They are "backed up". I cannot believe that poor thing has to wait a week to find out. Having just gone through a scare myself, she must be 100 times worse than I was!

Ok, I might have a taker for the final two tix, I called my SIL who lives outside of NYC and she said they'll take them or maybe her daughter and her BF.....either way, really nice people, we may have to modify the ressie at Carmine's, I'll let you know...........keep your fingers crossed.......back to packing!!

So, i must tell you, last night I made a REAL meal, compared to us eating on the run for the last 10 days. Bryan actually "THANKED ME" for dinner, as did Bob.....I felt the same way. Tyler? he thanks me when I get him fast food!

Must tell you, though. We are heading out of the City late Sunday night. Decided not to stay overnight Sunday, since I must attend a funeral on Monday morning. We will either grab the 9, 10 or 11 pm bus....we will stay with you guys until you head for bed. The hotel will hold our luggage. We plan on getting to the City around 9:30 Saturday morning.....guess we will hook up with Jennster, since Joannster won't be arriving till dinner time???????? Jennster, do we call you when we get to the City?

Having some 'hand' problems since working the festival. Went to my podiatrist (yea, yea, I know he is my FOOT doctor ) and he gave me a number of a hand specialist (hands are numb, swollen and painful, since i worked at the festival) - can't get in to see the specialist till Aug. 27!

Can't believe THIS HEAT today! Of course I'm inside, Tyler went to the pool. This MUST be the hottest day of the year. Thank goodness we will have nicer weather this weekend (that is because the Fishers are coming to town )

Thx everyone for your flexibility......it looks like the "kids" are coming, Jenna Lawall and her guy, Chris........they are the cutest couple ever, they both just graduated from college..........they're very friendly too. I just have to talk to Jenna's mom tomorrow about details. We were interrupted today while discussing everything.

Ken & I will be 27 tomorrow, BTW!

We all know how you feel right now! At least you got to see Venus last weekend.....I would have really liked go to Wimbleton, you guys are really cool world travelers, you know!!

We're going to have a typical family weekend, Tara will need to be "hit the town!".....Tara loves NYC and hasn't been up in quite a while, so I'll let you know our status once we're in town.........I'm not sure when Ken & Tracy will come up but we'll probably arrive in the afternoon.

Sorry about your injury, it's fun the unexpected things that happen, isn't it? Lately, my heels have been bothering me, what's that about??? We will have fun this weekend........I can't wait!

Well, I am about packed and we leave here at midnight tonight!! My kids are so excited and have NO IDEA what they are about to see/experience. Mallory just discovered in a catalog that there is an American Girl Place in NYC! I hadn't exactly told her although she has been to the original one in Chicago.

Marshall now has this thing that he wants to see Phantom. He is so into this piano thing that his music taste has developed into more of a variety of music. I have no idea where the Phantom idea came from. He talks music with his piano teacher a lot. Her daughter is an opera singer in Atlanta and her son is currently touring with the Young Americans just leaving for Japan last week (were in Europe in the spring). Maybe we're on to something!

Congratulations Ken and JoAnn on your anniversary!!! I had forgotten our other "connection" besides our birthdays! Our aniversary is July 22nd! However, we will just hit 12 years. I always joke that I have 18 years combined service!!!

Lucy, we certainly understand yoiur need to return Sunday night. We will have to hit somewhere in Times Square Sunday evening so you are near your departure. Just let us know when you have to leave.

We are going to tour Yankee Stadium on Monday (hopefully if we get there in time to get tickets) and have tickets to the Yankees game on Monday night. I have pretty much set aside Sat. and Sun. to hang out with you guys. Mark and John will be going out to Shea Sat. evening and Sun. afternoon so you might see them a little. M&M will be with me since they have had enough baseball lately to sink a ship! Mark and I saw 9 games in 11 days the last two weeks and M&M were there for 7 of those. THey will see three in NYC already.

Lynn - you could still catch a flight and spend the weekend with us!

Off to finish up some little projects!
