two to go! John just took off for Florida to go on a cruise tomorrow with X! Tomorrow the two little ones go with DU and DA to spend Sat.-Fri. That equals 6 days and NO KIDS!!! A first for us to be around home w/o kids! I will be back and forth from Cincinnati most of the time, leaving in about 30 minutes!!

OK guys, this physical labor is TOO much for me.
Yeesterday I worked the Kutztown Folk Festival from 8:15 AM to 6:30 PM
one half hour break only
standing on my feet and dishing out hot food the entire time
ready to cry when I got home
had a bowl of cereal and visited mother for two minutes and went to bed
Another day today.....

Lynn, watched the news this morning - constantly thinking of you and your safety over there....be aware wherever you go, please.

Although, today being July 1st, I wish I WAS over there for the Diana concert tonight. Princess Di was an obsession with me...I collected everything I could get my hands on about her...I LOVED her. Her funeral was so sad, as if it was a close relative of mine...I will never forget her. I love watching her boys grow up into fine men.

WOW, I'm even too exhausted for smilies today....off to work.

I napped in the car after we dropped them off in Columbus, O for about 30 minutes. I took another nap as soon as we got back to the hotel for about two hours. I got up, went to the Reds game, then to dinner. I laid down at 11:45 p.m. and woke up at 10:15 a.m.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, mind you I DON'T NAP!!

The house is definitely quiet...so I am off to paint Marshall's bedroom. I promised him I'd paint it this summer, so I am going to seize the moment!

Oh, Lucy that sounds like HARD WORK!! Hopefully the festival will go quickly for you........

Lynn, I too have thought about you and Keith. Be vigilant........ How did the inspection go? Soon you will be in the Med with the mouse and RELAXED!!!!!

JoAnn, how are you feeling? Are things going well with the WW?

Bill, still waiting on you to pop in.......you're bringing your bride to NYC aren't you???? Hey! I am coming that far, at least you can make the trip!

The Reds fired their manager last night, so things are interesting around the ballpark. We heard a rumor on Sunday morning and saw some people around the parkt that aren't normally there. Mark and I have ressies for the season ticket holder luncheon on Friday, so that could prove to be interesting. They have four of them throughout the season and I think it's interesting we were assigned to this one. The question session could really be sticky!!

I don't know, Jenny, I didn't think you would use your free time, PAINTING YOUR SON'S BEDROOM!!! What a Mom! WW is going well, IT'S HARD! I am trying to follow all the requirements and some days are better than others. At our meal the other night, Lucy was really helpful when she passed me a .0001 of a chip......isn't she special??

Lucky, you were supposed to be retired? What's all this talk of working the Folk Festival................??? Stop Working!!

Where is Lynn? I hope things are going okay.............we haven't heard from you in a LLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG time? LEt us know when you have time!

I am still working on the MP tix, there is now a possibility THAT TARA WILL COME TO NYC TO SEE MP!! If she does, I will be able to give the other tix to her friends or Trayc's friends...........it will all work out.....I can't wait to see everyone!! Hope all is well in the Bolusi clan?

Let's just say, Lucky made a HUGE mistake offering to work the festival - at MY age....it cannot be done! This was all MY idea, not Bob's and he is once again right.....i SHOULD quit, but I'm not a quitter....I'm a complainer Next year? NO WAY! Last night bedtime was 8 PM.

Yes, Jennster, you come ALL that way and Mr. Bill and Ms. Alice aren't coming to see you...I'm also sad.

It is 7:30 Tuesday morning and gotta head out for work...miss you guys.

MIL/FIL called last night and I am picking up the kids today (3 days early). I knew they were being too ambitious. She is not physically able to care for them and he is.............well, don't get me started. Mark and I knew it was too mich for them, but they insisted. Mark's brother and SIL tried to help out, but they work too, so it was just too much. We have already sold their tickets for the ball games tonight, Wed., and Thurs. So, now I have to go out and buy them seats but they are not with our others. Live and learn................. It's just too bad all around for the kids. THey miss them so much and going up there is really tough all around for us.

I did get the bedroom painted and put back together for Marshall. It looks really good. I am quite proud. I wish I had the energy to do more of that around here, but the small rooms are all I can manage. With my arthritis I pay dearly for a couple of days. My hands hurt today as does my back (which is daily anyway!).

Lucy.........you are like me. WHen you commit, you follow through no matter how tough... Come home, take a good hot bath and head to bed. You don't want to get sick before our NYC "trip"!!!

So, how many tickets do you still have to fill JoAnn? I thought my SIL and her BF might want to meet us, but they are meeting Mark at Shea on Sunday, so they won't come into the city twice.

Lynn....would love to hear from you. Curious how things are going across the pond for you.

Right now, I have 4 tix for MP, however, I'm trying to get Tara to come back and maybe her BF, she may be able to get some of her NY friends to take the others, Tracy, may be able to take at least one for her GF, and I haven't asked my BIL who lives nearby yet, as soon as I hear from Tara, I'll work it out.

Tara is finally coming home tomorrow until the 9th, she hasn't been home in SO LONG! She just became an editor for the online fitness magazine she was hired to work on, she can continue to work there even after she leaves SB, so that's really good news. She may want to come to NYC, next week, b/c she's thinking about doing her next quarter there.

So I'm pooped b/c I've been getting ready for our 4th barbecue all day......HEY GUYS.............I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL..............

I haven't heard from Lynn on either thread, I guess she's busy with the stuff she was dealing with...............I HOPE EVERYTHING IS OK, LYNN!!

4th of July=baseball.....saw Barry Bonds hit a HR tonight here in Cincinnati putting him only 4 away from Hank Aaron's record. I don't particularly care for him, but since he is going to break the record I might as well have a chance to see it! They play here again on Wed and Thurs. I can't see him hitting four in two games, but stranger things have happened and our pitching stinks!!

I hope Lynn is o.k. How's Debi doing?? Fill us in guys!

Well, Mark's mom just called and it appears that his sister's cancer has possibly come back. She was diagnosed last October at age 26 with Hodgken's (sp?) and took treatment. She had a routine CAT scan on Monday and the results came back positive for cancer. She has cancelled her return trip to NJ (where she lives now) to have a PET scan on Friday. If this is the case she will need a bone marrow transplant. His family doesn't need anything else. His mom is very sick (just out of the hospital) and his dad is going in for a check because he is having some very worrysome symptoms that could be prostrate related. PLEASE pray for this family. We are at a loss...............

Will someone please check in???? I worry about you all!

I am so excited to see everyone in just 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jenny Sorry to hear about your SIL, we will keep Mark's family in our thoughts and prayers.

Lynn and Keith Hope all is well in your neck of the woods, we have been thinking about you lots lately!

Lucy I too, loved Princess Diana, did you get to see the concert? Would have loved to have been there, too many empty seats, I noticed. I 0saw on Sunday, and got to see my beloved man open the show, and I taped the whole thing on Monday, it was on VH1. I think I told you guys we were driving on our way home from Disney they night she died, and heard it on the radio coming over the Outerbridge (thought we were hallucinating after an 19 hour drive).

How was everyone's 4th? The weather here was lousy, wound up only having my in-laws over and eating inside. Later on my niece and her fiance and their friends came over and so second shift cooked, drank and hung out all night.

Anyway, some good news, we now have 4 licensed drivers in the Bolusi household. Yes, that's right, Briana passed her road test this morning, and of course, you know she is already gone. It was weird to come home from work and see NO cars here. She also gets bragging rights, as she beat her sister, with a PERFECT SCORE!!!! So watch out world, here comes the Breeze. I, still maintain my bragging rights, as being the only one in the family who failed the road test the first time and had to take it twice.

As for summer school, she starts next Tuesday. I was able to speak with her principal, and he agreed with me that she shouldn't go to SS with the same teacher who taught her all year, so he referred her over to another school, and she will take it there. It was $75 cheaper and 3 days a week as opposed to 5, so we are mom's happy and Breeze is happy. And she will be able to drive herself there, so that is even better. It is a nice feeling to know I don't have to stop what I am doing anymore to go pick someone up.

Supposed to get hot here this w/e, guess it will make up for the 4th.

Debi - A very good move on your part to see the principal and on his/her part to recognize a potentially wasted summer school!

We are still in Cincy (having been here 7 out of the last 9 nights). I am ready to go home tomorrow. to do and repacking for NYC! Our flight is REALLY EARLY on Thursday out of Columbus, OH. We plan to leave home around midnight and drive to the airport which is about 3 1/2 hours. I know it sounds crazy, but the flight cost us about $500 less total!

I am curious as to how Lynn is doing....I know she has had a full plate. But, the Med is right around the corner.

Lucy is probably going to "call in dead" at home for a day or two after her festival job. Let us know how you are.

JoAnn - you must be getting ready for the Med. by now...

Hey Jenny, Lynn is fine............she checked in on the "other" thread! She passed her inspection and I believe she is now at Wimbleton (some life!) I'm sure she'll be back soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!
