I believe that today the weather was slightly better..........perhaps, Spring will come this weekend!!!!

Jess is playing 3 major games tomorrow, Thursday and Saturday.....let's hope she hits another 3 in on Thursday, needless to say, THAT coach needs it!!

Field trip today= Really it wasn't that bad.....I just feel like &$% because of this cold/cough.

Mark took off tonight to go to his parents' house since a friend of his died unexpectedly. Poor guy had stints put in last Monday, returned to work this Monday and was found outside the school at lunchtime.....they could not revive him...

Sorry, Jenny, that's so sad!! We had our field trip to the state capitol, last week, remember, I had LARINGYTIS!! Anyway, I found out today that a lot of people at my gym had it too, so I guess I got it from there two weeks ago!

Spring is definitely in the forecast, folks!!!

I'm feeling GREAT by going to bed every night this week at 7:30-8:00...no cold, no laryngitis (sp?), no fevers....I finished a GREAT book...no exercise.

Only TWO more months of this place for me. Yesterday there was some nasty stuff going on on campus here....protesters, nasty protesters, then our students got involved, and it was not good....honestly, this NEVER happened at KU before (ah, Ms. Lucy didn't even know it was going on, she was sitting at her desk over lunch, and had to read it on the internet!).

Scarky.... well, what's it mean...?? I asked a couple Brit's over here, and I drew a blank.... I mean how bad could It be...?? is it a "dirty" word...

"Scarky" was really suppose to be "sarky" short for sarcastic (sp?)!!!! I had never heard it, but loved it!!! I guess Bill it could be anything you want it to be....heck remember when we were all "happy"???

Heading to the city tomorrow afternoon. I won't be on line until at least Sunday night, so hold down the boards...this is the big fashion show weekend. Look out American Girl!!

Congrats to Jess I am not surprised though, Jess is GREAT!

THIS June, Ms. Jenny....in fact, the exact date to get out of here is June 22! Wish we could all be together this summer to celebrate. Even Tyler keeps asking if we are seeing the DISers in WDW! He really enjoyed everyone last summer.
BUT, I may not last till that date...I'm starting to send out nasty e-mails today of things that are bothering me on this campus...i'm just in a mood!

Wish I could be at a beach this weekend.

Yeah, the boy's pulled one out.... Actually. this kid Hamel pitched a hell of a game.... I caught up with the game in the 7th.... and was blown away as I watched this guy work the Red's batter's.... I couldn't believe what I was seeing.... I think he ended up with 15 strikeouts,and went for all nine inings.... I was thinking I was watching a game from the Steve Carlton era...
The Phillies pulled off a "triple play" in the earilier innings,(I'm sure Lucky Lu
caught that play.. )
There was some close outs/safe plays and some terrific defensive plays on both sides
Jenny won't be back till Sunday nite I believe

Terrific weather today,still on the cool side,but certainly improving

Joannnnnnski and family tomorrow for dinner, Ken treated again tonite...very pleasent evening eating at the new Ceasers ocean pier....

The Hamels kid was unbelievable on Sat. night. He really did work the Reds over. Yes, the Phils had a triple play. One of those "perfect" senarios. I missed today's game as John had a double header back here, so Mark and Marshall went (I didn't miss anything as you now know!). Mom, Mal and I sat in the beautiful sunshine and got a little pink watching John play!

Mallory did awesome at her style show. It was a little scary though. She was up at 3:30 a.m. Sat. morning throwing up with some sort of bug. She finally rallied around noon and was able to go. She is much better today. I think she had what John had midweek. Who will be next????

Lucky, we will be at the beach EVERY WEEKEND, this summer, except for when we are in the Med, so just let me know! If you want to run to the beach, immediately following your retirement, that would work too....just let us know!

I think I heard that the Phils were doing well today, but I'm not sure? They blew a game yesterday?

Bob and Lucky Lucy just walked for an hour - we walked like 80 yr. olds and we feel like 90 yr. olds...we do meet alot of people along the way to chat with and that makes the walk a tiny bit easier. We really are hurting - I can't imagine what tomorrow will bring when we try to walk down the steps

I really do wish we could keep this weather, BUT, as Ms. Jennster notes, I'll be able to walk during the fall season, any time of day (if Mr. Bob doesn't find me work, that is - I can walk my little girl I will be babysitting twice a week).

7;25 PM and time to put my feet up - i better go to bed and put them up in bed, in case i can't move in about an hour or so.
