I'm 47 now, was 45 when I met you all. Oh and Lucy's birthday is Feb 27th, (2 days after Alex) and Lynn's (I believe) is April 14th (day before Micco and Alice) - yes Jenny, I try to do the same thing as you to remember, but I have early Old timers disease, so how do I remember these things. And Kathy's birthday is tomorrow, if I am correct....

OK, glad I got that off my chest. I can't harbor things, need to get them out, let people know how you feel, then move on, if you know what I mean!

Have a good day all!
Debi

I just got the 'weirdest" news, when you think about it,
my official retirement date (full retirement) from the state is NEXT YEAR!
May 20, 2008!:cool1:  :yay: :cheer2: :laundy: :teacher:

I PROMISE, once I have MORE TIME.....I will remember EVERYONE'S birthday, I promise......:bday: party:

I can't even remember the family Birthdays all my relatives know they won't be getting a card from me :cool1:
Keith's as bad but I'm the one who cops the flack both from my side and his how fair is that!!!!

Anyways Happy Birthday Joann and Jenny for yesterday, Happy Belated birthday Debi for December. nothing wrong with your memory Debi my Bday is indeed the 14th April a day after Rose and Micco. How are my fellow Arians did Micco enjoy the skydiving clip Debi?
BTW Debi don't worry about Brianna in the summer her best friend Lucy will babysit while you and Micco come over and play. Lucy wants a daughter shes fed up with sons...Joann is fed up with daughters until they come through on her birthdays...what about a swap ladies?
Joanne do I get to babysit a daughter or has that fallen through?
Not having a great week at work here please send hugs!!!

and everyone else for that matter:hug:

I am cashing in my kids too....must be the alignment of the stars folks!!

OMG Debi!! Alex's birthday is the same day that my dad's was! I knew there was something special about her!

Lynn ~ Mallory has been invited to a birthday tea. Her little friend's mother suggested the girls bring a "treat" to the tea in leau (sp?) of a gift. Any great "English" tea ideas????

Thanks for the hugs hope this helps
I don't have a recipe on me but I love fondant fancies make really soft fondant icing and colour it 3 or four different colours, dip cubes of plain sponge cake in the icing and drizzle a different colour across the top Yummy!!
or cucumber sandwiches or scones and jam and cream. Victoria Sandwich is a big sponge cake filled with jam and cream. Cheese strawsOf course the real english Party teatime dish is Sherry trifle but little girls can miss out the Sherry.
Recipe for Trifle
In a glass serving dish place stale sponge cake, some tinned fruit of choice and cover with Jelly now careful because english jelly i think you call Jello a fruity geletin substance....choose a flavour to match the fruit....when cool and set add a layer of custard preferably made with english custard powder but if not make with eggs and make thick enough to set. Then when cool add a layer of cream sprinkle with hundreds and thousands whoops I mean sprinkles very traditional...I hope you understand the translation... It will still taste different because as I found the basic raw ingredients taste different or just aren't the same.

Thx Lynn, for the recipes........a little touch of Britain!! Here's your "cuddle".....:grouphug: Sorry, just 6 months until THE MED, Lynn!

Tara doesn't know yet if she'll be in London, the earliest would be October, but it's more probable in January?? We'll see, but thx for your willingness! IT JUST MIGHT STILL HAPPEN!:dance3: Tracy's not talking about studying abroad anymore, it would force her to graduate late and as it is, she is in a 6/7 year program!!:sad2:

Yes, I'm relieved that my girls came thru yesterday!! Forgive me for forgetting the birthdays...........IT'S AN OLD AGE THING!!:confused3

Actually, Lynn's birthday is on Ken's Dad's birthday (and my late Grandmom!) BTW, Ken's Dad was admitted to the hospital today.........he's still have a really, really bad time with his illness......it's been one thing after another....please send prayers his way!:flower3:

See you all soon!!! (Some sooner than others...............):

What the heck was that about - the accent was a tough one for me tonight.:scared1:
Do they make "English" dictionaries, for when we all come over for the Olympics.....I know a few words already: tea, scones, pond, hugs and mum:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

YES - Lucy WILL take care of Brianna, PLEASE - but I hope she doesn't need help with the homework - remember, I'm old and don't understand this modern stuff ANYMORE.....Debs, may I live at your house while you are gone? WAIT, you don't have a Walmart on Staten Island - how will I live for 15 days without a Walmart....I can do it:love: :scared1:

7:55 PM - good night everyone.

OMG!!!Tracy just told me she wants to go to LONDON for her first summer semester. Hey Lynn, ARE U STILL UP FOR surrogate Mom??? I really hope she decides to go (How about if WE ALL go check on her before the end of her term in LATE JUNE???) I know it's a long shot.....:confused3  :woohoo: :cloud9:

Joannster?:confused3
IF I can be a mom for Bri, Lynn can be a mum for Tracy, right Lynn?:cool1:

Of course I can, I can give good cuddles when needed, I can cook her English food and then she can translate for lucy.

Prayers across the pond for Ken's Dad

Thx Lynn, another....:grouphug:

This is the summer she'll go, if she does it..............I would like her to try to study abroad and this is the only way she can do it.........we'll see???

Now that we have passports.........watch out, baby!!

Me again!! I was on the phone all night with Doubletree...........what a ripoff, Hilton may have just had MY LAST RESERVATION EVER!! I have HAD it! Thank God, for companies like Disney who actually realize that your vacation is not supposed to be more aggravating than your day job!!:confused3

Anyway, life goes on...........hope all are well!!:thumbsup2

Oh yea..........Luce and I had the BEST plan ever for 2008, what does "the group" think about a Land/Sea trip for 2008 on the Wonder (4day.) Evidently, there's a double dip CC involved...........how great would that be???

One last statement in regards to the birthdays....:confused3 Rose ,I presume meaning Alice.. celebrates on the 15th of April... so you folks really riddle the middle of the month....13,14,15,etc.... Of course, this one makes her "70"...:dance3: whew ,what a old broad...:rolleyes1

NO!:cold: :cold: :cold:

BUT, did these cold temperatures make Tyler want to wear a coat to school today?????? NO:furious: :furious: :furious:

OK, let's get this straight - I'm excited and sad.... :sad1:
I'm SO excited to be going to New York:yay:
I'm even MORE excited about seeing Wicked:cheer2:
AND, I'm the MOST excited about seeing my friends:grouphug:

and I'm the SADDEST  that everyone can't be there...I understand....but, believe me, you have no idea, you are always on my mind, and we are constantly talking about all of you and how we wish you could be there too....:love1:

OK, let's make a deal, I won't call you, but IF you want to talk with us, call my cell 484-547-7052....and we'll all be together that way, ok?:dance3:

for everyone else, Bob, Tyler and I are taking the 7:30 bus out of Kutztown....we will arrive in NY around 9:30......our first stop is the bathroom (:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: ), then the closest Starbucks, then drop off our luggage at the Doubletree...from then on we hope to meet up with ANYONE......
Bob and Tyler have 2:00 tickets for Rent
I'm on my own
after Rent we meet up SOMEWHERE (Debs, I got your e-mail, sorry, you are right....wouldn't be anything for the girls....JoAnn is suggesting the Marriott, do you have suggestions? something the girls can eat...please, you guys know NYC more than we do)
after dinner it is on to Wicked.
THEN, it is WAY past Lucy's bedtime and she needs to be asleep, but, somehow, I have a feeling that just ain't gonna happen with this group:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
JoAnn: Bob suggested, if you don't wanna eat at Bubba Gump's (for lunch), Tyler,. Bob and Lucy will do that on Sunday before we take the 1:30 bus out of NYC. I apologize, but Tyler MUST eat at Bubba Gump's one time while in the City.....it is his favorite.:woohoo:

We want to see Alex AND Brianna.....please.:grouphug:

Hey..........see some of you tomorrow!!!

I hope you guys all have a "Wicked" time!:lmao: Think of me.... I wish I could be there, but I will be definitely be thinking about all of you!

Things around here are kind of not so good. Had my MRI yesterday.....it was a nightmare, but I survived. I have had such anxiety for the last 10 days that I have done NOTHING but cry..... My kids were even a mess. I know I needed to be strong, but well, I wasn't exactly strong. Mallory had a meltdown on Wed. night and clung to me. She wouldn't play in her ball game or anything. I didn't force her.... She was so worried about me. I can't believe I put everyone through this. Mark has tried to be suportive, but his work isn't exactly good, so hence the not so good times. This weekend will definitely be a turning point, I hope!!

have a great time..........SOMEONE drink a margarita for me! Hey! You try it Lucy!!!!:lmao:

So glad that da__n! MRI is over....now the results.
Have a totally relaxing weekend, I will call you, ok?
Bob is sick as a dog with a cold (again!).....my belly hurts, but we will make it..My oldest went to Delaware to visit a friend, with other guys, I'm worried as he_l about him - of course, he hasn't called! This is the first time he has actually been away with friends, and if he soon doesn't call...it will be the last time.
Just watched my new favorite show - Gray's Anatomy - OMG - I'm hooked on that show. Glad i can watch it on a Friday night, because 9:00 on a Thursday night just won't happen.
We are so ready to go to bed but Tyler is at a friend's house and can't be picked up until 10:00 - it is always about the kids, isn't it!

:hourglass :bored: :bored: :bored: :bored: :bored: :bored: :hourglass

I hope you guys are truly having a wonderful time!!!

I'll just sit here and wait on a report. I KNOW you guys are going to absolutely LOVE Wicked!!!!! I loved it for sure!:thumbsup2

John's team lost their first game (which they shouldn't have), but won the second, so they finished third (county tournament). They are by far the best team, but some of the boys "knew it"! John didn't play in the first game, but did see some action in the 2nd game.

Marshall raced his pinewood derby car today too. He didn't win either of his heats, but was a very graceful loser. He did win his division coloring contest which THRILLED him beyond belief!!

Mallory served as cheerleader for both. She was so cute consoling the boys (neither of which were really upset, she was just more upset for them!:lmao: )

Luckily since we live in a small town the event just happened to BOTH be at the Junior High School. In fact, across the hall from each other (gym and cafe)!!!! So, we could just walk back and forth!

Now I plan to just sit and be lazy.............:surfweb:

Give me a report tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!:wizard:
