and Ken has already done his run! :dance3:
Whatta guy...so sorry I missed you Ken:hug: , I know you signed me up for it and bought me new running shorts (3XL? right?), but it just wasn't for me, buddy:rolleyes1 .....the only running I've EVER done at Disney was to catch a bus:lmao: :lmao:

:sad1: Just sitting here thinking how sad it is going to be for us at the Boardwalk this summer, without any of you.....I'm so happy for each and every one of you going on the Med, and Bob was just saying last night (JoAnnski, listen up to this one:rolleyes1 ) - IF we would have known at the time, before cancelling, how we "felt about our children" , we would have gone along, just the two of us!:cheer2:
Joanski, have a diet coke for me at the pool bar - they are the best! :drinking1

Today Bob and I would actually like to go to a movie - Night at the Museum...haven't done that in over a year! of course, no child will go with us (OK with us!:woohoo: )...of course, Bob hasn't completed all his chores yet(Jenny), so I don't know about allowing him to take a break:rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Another thing, Joanski, it is 70 degrees here today - does that compare to Florida? TOO weird!

Debs, IF you are reading this, please let me know if you want to take that ticket - Joanski has someone too....it is NOT like I'm trying to get rid of it, but Bob and I decided NOT to bring the older child, because we want to have fun!, and we were just going to find someone else here, but if someone could use it, I would LOVE that!

well, it is time to start some work.....very difficult when I know where Ms. Joannie is right now.....

Lucy Yes, Alex is going to take the ticket, but you have to let me know how much it is so I can send you a check or give you the money that night. Oh, and if by some miracle, the Jets do make the Superbowl :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I won't be sitting on my couch, honey, I will be in Miami, by hook or by crook.

Bill You are on. (And I know we are both dreaming now - maybe we should wake up and smell the coffee :rotfl2: ) I just want them to win tomorrow, I would like to beat NE because I can't stand Belichik, the guy is heartless....And I am rooting for the Eagles to beat the Giants tomorrow. Too bad I am at work and I am going to miss today's games, but I am glad the Jets are playing tomorrow, I will be plopped right in front of the :happytv: at 1:00.

Ken I am sure you did well today, but it's probably not much warmer there than it is here. I think right now it is like a balmy 73 degrees. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

We are still not sure what our plans are for vacation this year, Micco has not canceled the cruise yet, he says in his mind it not done yet, but in my mind it is, I was upset at first, but slowly am getting over it.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

LET'S GO JETS!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Debi

Go Micco you can convince her you know you can and besides I wanna be with you when I go European gull watching!!!
:rotfl: :rotfl:

Cruise to Mexico's west coast?? Been there, done that. Outside of the friendships we made, it wasn't that great of a situation. Plus, I miss Castaway Cay. It was a downer not going there.

I WOULD love to go back to California, particularly DL. We also really had a blast in SD. I was not prepared for the beauty of that city. I could have stayed a couple days at least.

I have been quite lazy today.....I did try to get some pictures in albums, but still have more to go. Just organizing them was a mess. Thank goodness there are date stamps on pictures these days!!:rotfl2: I wish I had the talent that Debi does with pictures. I do good to get them in cheap albums that you slide the pictures in!!:lmao: BTW ~ Go J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets!!! I was disappointed that KC lost today. Trent Green was the QB at Indiana a few years ago. We met him and Matt Hesselbeck at the ESPN Club a few years ago. Those are two awesome gentlemen. They spent a lot of time talking with all the kids in the crowd and seemed genuinely to have a good time!

Are you back to school Lynn? :teacher: Your trip sounded awesome! BTW~Thanks for being so honest Joankskiesy! I had no idea where Madeira was either. (Except for the fact that our best friends live in Madeira, Ohio...a suburb of Cincinnati!!!). That was you, wasn't it??:confused3

So, we don't know how Ken did, do we?:confused3 Give us some details! If I had run, I would still be running toward the finish tonight!!:lmao:

so we don't know how Ken did? :cool1:
I believe he came in first or second, due to the fact that we haven't heard from them, and Disney is crowning the Lawell Family "Disney Family for the Year" and has put them up in the castle with free annual passes for the year:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Jennster: I WASN'T dreaming of Mexico...here is MY dream cruise, ok?:genie: :boat:
The family flies to LA and stays at the Grand California for several days, not leaving that hotel this time to do any touring - I LOVE that resort and the convenience of it.
THEN, the ship sails to Hawaii.....and tours Hawaii, ok, then I guess we must fly home....OR,
The ship sails out of LA and heads north (NO, not Alaska, too cold), but stops in California ports along the way, including San Francisco...
ONE day, in my lifetime, I want to sail to Hawaii, yes SAIL, then tour the islands, then, like the dreamer I am, sail BACK to LA.:boat: :boat: :boat:

I know, I know, it would cost the same as the Med. cruise, but guys, I guess I'm just afraid of Europe right now, that is the bottom line. I know, I can't live in fear.....but at MY age, I do. AND, with boys, one of them of military/draft age, it scares me....I MAY dream of them moving out one day, but not THAT way...OK, so now everyone knows my fears :scared1:  (:faint: and I have so many more, one of them being, running a marathon:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: )

deb...so much for the dream ,at least not this year:confused3
I'm watching the "Beagles" struggling with the Giants at this time:woohoo:

Hell, I'll buy the Margiettas anyhow... :hippie: :rolleyes1 :scared1:

see ya.... are we sure Ken even ran the race...??? where'sa the pictures... how come Joanskiburg didn't take any pic's

I'm sorry, Debs:sad1: :headache:  :flower3:

Joanski! I don't think they came back - how can she NOT tell us about her trip, I'm beginning to have second thoughts about the trip, too, Bill.:lmao:

Man, I was pulling for KC (lost), Jets, and Eagles! I have one left. I don't know if my support is good luck though!

I am anxious to hear (and yes see picture proof) of Ken's run....

Did you guys see the clip of Tigger (supposedly) "hitting" the kid from New Hampshire at the MK?? I loved the girl on the Cincy news who said, "Wonder what happened to Tigger's back that the camera couldn't see"?? All I can think about is the number of times that characters are "abused", but that doesn't get reported!!:confused3

I just spent the afternoon booking my sister a surprise trip to Vegas for her birthday. My BIL is totally computer illiterate so he left me his Visa number!!! I booked them airfare and a room at the MGM Grandfor the end of the month. I sure wish we were going. That is a dream trip for Mark. He doesn't gamble, but really wants to go out there. I want to go see Barry Manilow (you got me started on that Joanskiesly!).:dance3:

Well, all h#&% breaks loose again tomorrow. Games, scouts, work, etc!!:scared1: The party is over!!!!!:scared: Pray for me!
:teacher:

I'm back....................

First, Micco, don't give up the ship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!party: We will have such a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2 :sail:

Secondly, I agree w/Jen about the West Coast cruise...............we are so grateful for meeting everyone on that trip, but it was not my favorite port vacation...........I am looking forward to sailing to CC on my next cruise (after med of course)

Next, WE HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL TIME, at BWV this weekend, it was just the four of us and the convenience, etc. was fantastic, I loved the room, I would love to stay for a true vacation maybe in summer 2008 (How does that sound everyone??):dance3:

Ken did very well on the race, his time was............1:38..........FOR 13.1 MILES! Nuts!! It was really inspiring seeing those people along the route, going thru EPCOT and finishing.............amazingly, the final group mostly walked the 13.1 miles (I could do that!) I'm still not sure that that's how I'd spend a WDW trip but it was really cool. :confused3 Today, the Marathon was equally cool, again many people at the end of the run were walking, it was very hot both days and we were inspired to watch everyone!!! Ken said the the temperature when he started was 71 degrees(at 6am)and last year he heard it was 32 degrees!

Guess what I had today......................:mickeybar :rotfl:

Highlights of the trip............the "Italian margarita" in Italy............the margarita in Mexico.............the two new Nemo shows (Living Seas & AK).........the pool yesterday (Sat.)..........crazy good weather for January down there(it was even humid!)

Of course we thought of everyone all w/e...........especially Lynn in the Cadbury store (remember what you brought in NYC!)...........many memories of MMall over the park...............when we went to "DAK" I thought of Deb and how she "hates that park!"..............Jenny by the BWV pool and when we passed ESPN Zone!.............Kath, when I wore my pink/green Croc sandals!........BWV reminded me of the Rents, they love it there......it was really great, we should definitely go back there as a group in 2008...........:flower3:

Guess what, loose? THERE IS A CROC STORE IN ORLANDO AIRPORT WITH SANDALS AND CROCS IN SEVERAL STYLES AND COLORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

since I WON'T be getting to the airport till March, I hope you picked me up a pair of green/pink crocs:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Those ARE my favorite colors, but I liked Jennster's crocs too.

Glad you are home...did you get home in time to watch the Eagles - Bob and Lucy actually watched them (well, the last 10 minutes of the game - that is about all we can take of the game)......:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

BWV, 2008, We ARE THERE:woohoo: :cheer2: Maybe "Minnie" will be back in 2008?:confused3 ::MinnieMo

you fill in the blanks!! :lmao: It was one long day. I am "out of shape"!:teacher:

They had the MM Crocs at Christmas here, but all out of my size. I was hoping someone would get me a pair for my birthday, but around here unless I slap them in the face with something in the clothing line, I am S.O.L.!!!:rotfl: I tease Mark about my gifts always benefit him as well (i.e. the new TV in the bedroom this Christmas)!:happytv: He's no dummy!:rolleyes1

Well we are back on the "treadmill of life". Let's see.....4 BB games, a BB tourney, piano lessons, and Cub Scouts this week!! Gee, we have to start out the new year so slowly????:rotfl2:

1" of snow predicted tonight. That'll bring out the idiots on wheels! We know Bill knows all about those Hoosier drivers. Man, they drive me nuts. I am one of those, just get the h*&$ out of my way and we'll be fine drivers!"

BRING IT ON!! I would love a 2 hour delay! NO snow days..those have to be made up!!!:scared1:

 Mallory's game was cancelled, so I got to come home in time to watch the Ohio State band. They are sooooo good! Did anyone see them do their script Ohio? It's so impressive. For Christmas I made Mark a collage of photos that I took at the OSU/Michigan. It's a progression of the script Ohio (in phases). He loved it! It's actually cooler when they do the one big one which is what my pictures were!!

My BIL/SIL are out at the game in Glendale, AZ. My FIL called an elderly friend of theirs in Columbus, OH who is a BIG donor. She was extremely willing to get them tickets. They are sitting on the 30 yard line, 2nd row of the 2nd level. AWESOME SEATS! My BIL took my SIL out as her Christmas gift, but also took her this week to Las Vegas. They saw Celiene Dion (SP?) Friday night. What a trip!!:yay:

Happy Monday all!

Speaking of MM Crocs.............they are impossible to find but the kids surprised me with a pair (red w/black trim.) I was so psyched............all I saw were kiddie Crocs.................Lucee, the Crocs store had your faves but only in size 12..........remember when I stole the 10s off of you in NYC?

Back to planning............so, in addition to a Chicago trip sometime late Spring & THIS SUMMER'S BALLPARK EXTRAVAGANZA ON THE EAST COAST!!...............we should really plan a DIS reunion in 2008 at BWV!! So exciting! Let's keep it on the back burner!party: Think about all the stuff we learned from each other last summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll be moving into the Disney Suite by then!!!!!!!!!!!:dance3:

Yes, I saw the Eagles game, we arrived at halftime at the airport, our flight was delayed so we saw the whole second half, very exciting............I hope we make it past next w/e's game.............:confused3

Hey, Jenski, (I went with the popular suffix), the BIRTHDAY, is coming up baby...........I'll be at "mid 40s"............HB, girlfriend!!

Did you give Micco my MESSAGE, Debski????????????????  :rotfl:  popcorn:: :cheer2: pirate: :hourglass :flower3: :scared:

where is Debski?:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Definitely a reunion in Disney, 2008....mark it on your calendars, my friends......don't disappoint, like WE disappointed you guys this year.....Disney is always a definite for us, in the summer, and I want to be there again with each and every one of you! OH, OH, OH, Alice and Bill must come too! :cool1: I want the SAME rooms we all had too...that means, Debster and Micco and Bri get the boardwalk view, and the party is in their room each night!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

AND, I want ::MinnieMo ::MinnieMo ::MinnieMo ::MinnieMo there too!:cheer2:

Hey, Joanster, maybe Bob will find me the crocs in the airport when he flies next week....oh, my, i don't even know what airport he is flying to...all I know is it is NOT MCO! IF it WAS MCO, he would NOT be going!

I just saw them in another store, I think they're all over (the Crocs.) We're in for 2008, now about 2007.............there's some really "cool" people sailing the Med, who's in???:hippie:

I guess jenski is driving to BB..............and debski is beggin Micski to sign them up for the cruise.................oh well..................:wizard:

Actually I think we will fly and rent a car. I don't want to fight the NYC traffic since we are staying at Grand Central Station (hopefully). We'll rent the car after we are done in NYC. That way too we don't have to pay to park...

We are usually in for July at WDW, so '08 might be doable. We usually end up there around the 22nd of July which is our anniversary. This year we are starting earlier because of the Reds playing in Shea.....only fitting.

DebskiHow are Bri and Ali??? :confused3

Who's off on Monday? I am!!

I waited all mornng (until 6 a.m.) on my 2 hour delay call for our snow. When I got up, there wasn't a flake within 20 miles of here!:scared1: Man was I ticked!!!

Look at the information on Croc on WDW property. People bought them thre recently.

that I will NOT write until we hear from Debski! or Alexski, or Briski!:scared1: :sad2: :sad1: :grouphug:

We just had our very first snowfall of the year......it is beautiful right now, sun is shining, snow on the ground, hopefully will all go away by tomorrow.
The Pa. Dutch tradition is, we will have TEN more snows, because it snowed on the 10th day of the month...let's see.

Lucy has Monday off...as does Tyler. :cool1: :yay:

Going to WDW in March - will look for the MM crocs...but i still want the flip-flops. :rolleyes1

OK, I will NOW be silent......:surfweb:

I'm sure Debski and Micski are busy booking their Med cruise........let's leave them alone for now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2 :rotfl2: :surfweb:

I found my MM crocs in AK, Lucski and Jenski.....so check there......
I wore them today at school:) .....yes, we're off on Monday, too!!:thumbsup2

Seriously, let's put the 2008 idea in the back of our minds.........while I was there, I thought of all of you and how many memories and enhancements we've had to the Disney experience since we've all met!!

We finally had majorly cold weather today..........alittle snow, but really nothing!popcorn::
