Let's see, came in at 7:30 - blew a fuse....it's going to be a good week.

I'm trying to adjust my body to start getting up a little earlier...each day I'm going to try 5 minutes earlier...during semester, I MUST be in shower at 5:30 - during the summer it has been 7:00...THAT'S a BIG adjustment

Glad to hear the party was fun without us......wait till October!

Sorry guys, was busy this w/e, Saturday working and cleaning and then Sunday cleaning, shopping and then finally partying...made some great margaritas , but missed my margarita buddies. It wasn't the same without you guys. But we had a really nice day. I fianlly headed up to bead around 9:30, after cooking a second round for the kids.

Jenny - Good luck on your first day back, and your first week...hope you have a nice class this year.

OK, our Fantasy Football leaque is all set, the teams are all set, now when you go into the page, you get a different look, on the left hand side it shows the team and each division they are in. If you click on your team, you can see your roster of players. To me, it looks like Alex has a really good team... I am not so happy with mine, but I have Tom Brady as my QB, Jeremy Shockey as my TE and the Steelers Defense, so it's not too bad...the rest I am not crazy about. Make sure each week you check your players and if one of your teams has a bye, you need to switch that player with your reserve guy. I already have a player that I have to switch (Ron Dayne) because he has been suspended. You can also make trades with other teams within the leaques (if they are willing to trade you). Based upon how each of your players does on Sunday or Monday night in the real NFL, you get points. The team with the most points wins that round each week, just like a real game. You get to learn a little about football (for those of you who don't know anything) and you will find yourself checking on different games to see how your "guys" did. It is fun and I know a little about football, but learned a lot more last year by playing, and hope to learn even more this year.

Jenny - I am sure the boys can help you with this, and JoAnn - I am sure Ken and Disdaddy will help too.

The only one who didn't join was Lucy or Bob . Oh well, I guess I won't hold it against you. But last night, I had to get my cousin Annmarie and my niece Morgan to join just so they wouldn't disband us, because we didn't have enough teams.

We arrived in Coronado on Sat. We're here until next Sun then on to WDW til Fri 25 Aug then to RI til 1 Sep. I've got to run. I have a 9am apt to get my driver's license renewed. We spent to day at Del Mar Race Track yesterday. The kids won 8 out of 9 races. Mom and Dad lost, lost, lost. Amy was the best horse picker. More later...miss you guys.

First question one of my guys is injured so i swapped him for a reserve guy with the same intials next to his name was the the right thing to do??

One day down and 181 days to go!and I am closer to the end of the school year than anyone else!!!!!

The day went o.k. Got a big SHOCK!! I had this dream in June that a friend of mine was pregnant. She is 40 and a breast cancer survivor (at 32). She came in with her jacket on and flashed me her tummy!!! She hasn't told many outside her family yet. She apologized profusely for "lying" in June, but it was early!! I am not offended. It wasn't the time to "know", but isn't that weird???

Anyway, I don't know what is going on tomorrow, but I never do.
The running joke is our goal for the first day of school is: Get them in a classroom, feed them at lunch, and get them on ANY bus to go somewhere at the end of the day!

I want to go and see who I "drafted" in this FF league. I hope it's good!

I know, everyone was worried, I worked today.............

my classroom is ready except I still don't have a class list........evidently the students know they have me but I don't know who they are.............so tomorrow, I'll try to go in again and get the "list" but supposedly they're doing the floors so I might get kicked out................. (and you wonder why teacher start counting the days on the first day of school.................JENNY!!)

Terrall Owens ,was one of the biggest facteres in the fact that the Eagles had such a disasterous season...he was traded to Dallas, and I'm on the edge of my seat watching to see how Dallas handles that boy....In days past probably would be resolved with a piece of rope

It's 4:45 and I have been awake since 3:30...... I anxiously await to meet my new TEAM today. Preliminary information tells me it's going to be a LONG year, but I'LL be the judge of that! I am not much on insider information when it comes to classes.....it's all about establishing a few things in the first couple of weeks.....

DisDaddy.....about them Bengals..... For a preseason game Sunday, they were playing like it was the playoff!! Even the commentators said that! The key is Palmer (my FF QB with "Air McNair" as his backup ). Once he gets hit couple of times he'll be fine.

Interestingly I saw a segment the other day on the tissue donor for Palmer's reconstructive knee surgery (he basically had NO KNEE LEFT). He has been united with the family of a BEAUTIFUL woman around 40ish who donated her organs and tissues after being killed by a drunk driver. THey actually repaired his knee with her achilles tendon. He was one of 51 people who received something from this woman. It was an amazing story....

Lynn - You did good so far. I have one guy who is suspended, so I need to swap him out for my reserve guy. If you look at your roster, next to each player it will tell you what week they have a bye. Whether it is the 3rd week, 4th, whatever (1st w/e of football here is the w/e of September 10th), then you need to swap your active player with your reserve guy (hopefully they don't both have byes the same week) for that week. If your reserve guy is doing better than your regular guy, you may want to leave him in, otherwise after the bye week, then you swap him back. That's all there is to it. Then you just check out the scores on Tuesday morning to see if you won your game.

JoAnn - I see you are registered now, to play all you have to do is go into the nfl.com website and sign in (if you aren't signed in already). Make the changes with any of your injured or suspended players before Week 1. Switch your active guy with your reserve guy, that's all.

Jenny - Looks like you got Carson, although I am reading on the site that he hasn't been cleared to play yet. I am sure he will though by opening day. Anyway, good luck with the kiddies today.

Lucy - Briana told me you have been PMing her telling her you are not going to the Med, what is that all about. Do you think any of us love to fly, it's kind of up there with going to the dentist or gynecologist. But I fly more than I see either one of those guys, so get over it. You will never go anywhere in life if you don't fly. Besides I have a good one in with the Big Man upstairs (as well as my dad, who always watches over me, especially when I fly) and I know it's not my time yet. I have too many places to go and people to see. If you fly with us, I promise you, you will be SAFE! The trip of a lifetime, and you are willing to let us go without you. I DON'T THINK SO! Besides, like I said, Bob - will Lucy not be crying for at least 11 days from July 28th-August 8th '07, and Bob we don't want to do that to you! Moaning and groaning, "We should have gone, why didn't you make me go Bob?" And then it will be all your fault! Lucy - You have no choice, you have to go............PLEASE Hey, look at all the icons I used just for you Lucy. I never bring out the big guns!

Oh and BTW, I actually followed Disdaddy this time. Yeah, you have TO, stop bragging. I have Shockey as my TE, Brady as my QB, and the Steelers defense, I think I may be alright, and can play with the big boys. Like I said, Alex has some helluva team, check out her roster. Poor Ted, he has the Jets defense as a back-up.

Carson Palmer is supposed to play maybe this weekend, but if not, definitely against Green Bay on Monday night (week 3 preseason). We'll see, but I still have "AIR MCNAIR"!!!! Palmer needs one good hit to realize he's o.k. Right now it's all in his head..............

I don't know if you've looked at John's F team, but he is looking really good. He was psyched too! He's be a force in the league.

Lucy..........learn football instead of worrying and panicing about air travel and the Med.!!!! I've told you what will be, will be..... You can help me coach my team!

Briana...I'm still pulling for you g ir! I know you are going to do well! Keep focused and positive!
