We leave for WDW the weekend of the 21st of July, however don't let me stop the party!! :teeth: Plan what is convenient for the majority. I can't even say if I can/will come. So much depends on the kid's baseball and Reds baseball. Did someone say baseball???? :cool1: :) :cool1: :cool1: Not that far off gang!!!! I did like visiting VA in the past....

Debi Remember when we were in NYC and my SIL was in Manhattan too?? Well, she is head over heals over this guy and is in NJ practically all the time now. Funny how her chemo treatments are not as bad. As Mark would say (sarcasm) "Ain't love grand???? It appears I will soon have "family" about an hour out in NJ somewhere.... :rolleyes1

I am determined to see a Yankees game this summer. Mark is giving me the run around....surprised??? John is on my side of course!!

Well, well, well
Found Lynn on the 'other' thread (Christmas Cruising 2005) but am anxiously awaiting a 'hello' from her on THIS thread :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

and a report, please. ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

has she forgotten about us

Just spoke to Deb - around 11:30, Saturday morning
she and Alex are in NC already - they are driving straight thru - staying at
All Stars for three nights (the " ::MickeyMo is staying at All Stars!)

Kathy - that weekend looks great for us, so far - then we would head down to Florida after the weekend, and maybe meet up with Jenny.......
we will also (finally confirmed) be in Florida starting June 17

more later....

just had our heating unit repaired....(we MAY also need to stay in All Stars this summer! ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: )

Ok, well, I'm tentatively in for a Kathy reunion during 21-23, July........we HAVE to help our fellow DISer wait another year before she gets back to SD............sry, Kath, I feel for you, Ken and I determined years ago that SD is the BEST place to live in the country, weatherwise...........(and my DAD (BB) determined that the military determines all the shots - hence I never joined!!) :hyper2:

Please update us, Debi, we want to know that you are safe and sound (Alex, we'll be down in a few months, get your own screen name and let us know how things are going!!) :scared1:

Lucy, I also saw that Lynn has posted on the Xmas trip report thread, HELLO, we are waiting................................ :goodvibes

Jenny, I'm thinking, MAJOR, game ahead when the phils play the reds THIS SUMMER.........we are there.................WILL YOU BE??? You can make it into a summer visit to the beach (either me or BB will host!!!) Come Mark, you only live once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

Where is BB? :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:

I forgot to tell you guys - thought of you (ALOT!) the other night - on the Travel Channel - they were showing the canopy tour in PV...wild!

Jenny - when do the Reds play the Phillies? I'm sure YOU have a schedule.

OK, I THINK we are almost set - we will be in Disney in June, leaving the 17th, returning back to PA the 23rd of June

THEN, what we would LOVE to plan is drive to VA the weekend in July (21, 22, 23), then head down to Disney for a LONG trip.....keep that weekend open Kathy, but it won't be an "adult only" weekend, we will have Tyler with us....OH, since this will be a children included weekend, JoAnn, bring BB along! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
OK, these are our plans TODAY, but we are known to change them daily.....
::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: I'm really hoping Alex stays in Disney thru the summer.....but I'm sure Micco and Deb want her home

Oh well.... nice try Bengals....It's tough to win if your star 1/4 Back gets "creamed".... This is one aspect of football that has always sucked  The whole season goes down the tube because of a accidental?? hit........ :confused3 sounds like that Palmer will be rehabing
for some time :flower3:
I'm not so sure what JoAnn has in store concerning any "Big Game" between Phillies and Cinn Reds..this summer :confused3 They come to Philly, Phillies wip their butts ,3/4 and off they go to the next town...!! :teeth: Of course, JoAnn will be busy cleaning out all them wild critter's,that Maaaaaaay move in.. :faint:
Btw JoJo how's them weigh in's :scared1: :faint:

Well, now we settle in for the long endless cold months ,repairing the equiptment, catching the sun now and then ::yes:: we did some bike riding today, weather has been decent enough for walking and biking... :flower:

Be well...

Well, BB is BACK!! I think we're all in for the Reds vs. Phillies game this summer (check your schedules and let's plan!)

We are tentatively scheduled for a RC cruise out of Baltimore for 9 days on a Western itinerary on June 23rd. Then to the shore as much as possible this summer!! ::yes::

Any other plans are welcome..........keep 'em coming, Lucy! :cool1:

play the Cinn. Reds, in Philly, on August 11, 12, 13
what do you think, Jenny?

BTW, where is Jenny?
BTW, where is Lynn?

The hit was right in front of us. Don't let anyone fool you. It was in "the plan ~ a cheap shot". :sad1: They didn't show the Steelers bench on TV. They were "partying" down there. I am not a sore loser, just disappointed in what should not have happened. The Colts better watch Peyton because they'll go for him next!! Go Colts! ::yes:: Enough of my soapbox!

O.k. arrived home at 12:30 this morning, got up at 5:00 and feel like sh#$! And, I didn't have a drink!!! :sunny:

Aug. 11-13?? I start back to work on the 14th. I'll have to talk to Mark. It sounds like fun, but timing is the thing.... :confused3

Sorry about the loss, Jenny! And sorry that you're back to school on August 14th! Insane! When are you guys done?? Oh well, can we check for an earlier Reds series or is that it? :scratchin

Don't forget, Jen, OUR birthday is just around the corner?! It's time to start planning the celebration!! Whoooppppppppeeeeeeeeeee!! :cool1: For BB, don't disappoint me............it's time to plan the only daughter birthday celebration!!!

Deb, we need to hear about the road trip, how is Alex doing, :flower3: and how are you and Micco doing?? :sad1:

Lynn, where are you? How's school going? Sorry all your cruises are over, what do you and Keith plan to do next year???

Hello, everyone else................the doldrums of winter are upon us. Did I mention how beautiful Fort Lauderdale and Miami were last month...........we all need to move there! :cool1:

Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry to do this but we're going to have to find another weekend for our July Virginia reunion. We've been planning to go to Chincoteague, VA (out on the Eastern Shore...about 2 hours from where we live) to see the annual wild pony swim. The swim/auction takes place on the last Wed/Thu of July. I spent the better part of the day yesterday trying to get a reservation for less than 5 days in duration. We finally were able to secure a 2-bdr cottage for 1 week (22-29 July). It is longer than we wanted to stay but the price was about $300.00 less than a 5-night stay (which must begin on Sunday 23 July) at any other hotel. As soon as we finalize Coronado I'll have 2 or 3 other dates that will work for us. I'm so sorry Lucy and JoAnn but maybe with a date change Jenny will be able to make it...Deb too! We've been in VA for 4 years now and before San Diego we spent nearly 10 years in the DC metro area. We've always wanted to go see the wild ponies and we've never made it. Since this will definitely (it better) be our last year in VA we wanted to check it off of our list of things to do/see. I hope that you understand. Another big "to do" for me on the East Coast is to be in NYC for Thanksgiving to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Unfortunately, it's not quite as high on Ted's personal "must do" list. We'll compromise and someday go to see the Rose Parade. I'm just glad this wasn't our year as it just looked miserable with all the rain.

Hey guys! If you haven't figured out by the name, its alex! I've been lurking for months but I guess since you all want updates...hehe.

Right now I'm haning in the Vista apartments, some of the girls and myself were upstairs before haning with the guys and I just drove some of them to pick up a car. My roommates are all very awesome and we are actually planning to cook dinner tonight and have a "get to know you better" dinner. Last night was interesting though...we had a power outage in our building and a broken toliet, yikes!

This morning we got our work assignments. I will be all over wherever they may need me. I have five days of training starting on saturday from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm..that 8:30 is going to kill me! But the training looks fun, alot of walking around all the parks to familiarize ourselves and of course, actual character training!

Traditions is tomorrow, its all based on the growth of the Walt Disney Company. I lucked out and got an 11:30 time where as some of my roommates got 6 am! Now thats painful! Tomorrow we also get our ID's so for the next several days, I am free to play in the parks with whoever else has off!

The apartment is cute and nice and homey and I'm really enjoying myself, although I'm missing mom and dad like crazy. I'm even starting to miss my sister! I'll try and keep you guys updated as much as I can. I think I'm going to go swimming now though ;-) hope its warm where you all are! :rotfl2:

I've already met an amazing group of people that I know I'm going to be friends with for a long time. It's so exciting here! I'm going to head off now and do some more mingling and what not. I also have to call the papa dukes and what not. I'll try to keep everyone updated!

Love and Mickey Mouse!!

Alex

P.S.- I went out with a boy last night!!

How many do you have in a year..... ?? :confused3 Seems we just celebrated the last one.....what was it 49...?? Boy you'r and old broad... :rotfl2:
Well, I'm advised the guift's are bought, in fact ,I was there and helped pick it out... ::yes:: We stopped going to Salvation Army for your stuff....it seems the colors are never correct :sunny:

Jeeenny ,Jeeenny not in the NFL, they don't play dirty... :teeth: Honestly...!!

Well, I got's to run.... see you all....

ALEX!!!! ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo It is so cool that you are finally "revealing" yourself!!! I hope you stay "on board" and keep us up on it all...... Yes, I can take the "weather jokes" too!! :headache: Swimming?? Only here if you are into the "polar bear swimming" thingy!!! :rotfl2: I will definitely contact you concerning March 11-19 which is our dates to be at WDW!!! Wouldn't it be cool if you were assigned to Chef Mickey's on Marshall's birthday?????? :worship: :worship:

JoAnn Yes, Aug. 14th is early, but I find it easier to get them back early than to stay later. They seem to be ready, but not ready to study in May. We always get out by Memorial Day or close thereafter. It's nice because it's not morbidly hot yet.

J.T. There's no doubt the NFL is rough... Fans too.... Had to have some guy (Steelers fan) escorted out because he was harrassing poor John (the 12 year old). They were killing us at the time too!! It's not worth it sometimes!! ::yes:: :upsidedow

I am here and i'm reading most nights but work jetlag and unpacking is using up my time I promise a lovely long post and pictures soon, but I had to come out of hiding and say hi to our resident mouse, oh wow Mickey is e mailing me!!!!!! :cool1:

was home today - had this very bad sinus junk!....laid around all day
still not feeling great, but I'll be at work tomorrow

Hey, Lynn, betcha don't have a mouse talking to you on the "other" thread?!!!

Enjoy, Alex, the best days of your life are ahead - we old people on this thread (yea, that's ALL of us gang) - envy you.....I hope you love it SO MUCH that you stay there during the summer......

Someone's birthday is next week already.......... :scared1: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi all. I am back safe and sound from my journey to WDW. We had a really nice trip. It took us 17 hours and 15 minutes door to door (and that was with a stop for breakfast and dinner, as well as a few gas stops). I see the mouse has already posted. Way to go girl! Keep everyone informed of all mouse happenings. :earsboy:

Jenny - Really sorry about those Bengals. I was rooting for them. I only got to see the 3rd quarter because we went to the parks on Sunday, but it was a good game while I was watching. I got to watch a little while Alex showered, and of course, I went to the bar for a margarita. That also stinks about the guy harassing John, some people are just a**holes!

OK Joann - Now I know exactly how you were feeling in August. When Alex dropped me off at the hotel last night, I cried like a baby. I cried again this morning on the way to the airport too. Glad she is having a good time. LOL.

Lucy - How bout that last w/e in Feb, your b/day. I will be booking the trip the end of this week. I am hoping to get a good price on the air fare on Jetblue. Then we could hang with the mouse, what do ya say???

Hope all is well with everyone.

Debi

Welcome Mickey!!I'm so psyched that Alex checked in......it sounds so great, we're all so happy for you. When you have time, please check back in (i'm alittle jealous about the swimming comment, though......... ) Have a blast and enjoy every second!

Sorry, Debi & Micco, Alex is special girl, I don't know about that boy comment, hmmmmm :pug:

Kathy, the Chincoteague experience is a not to be missed, you're kids will love it!! I went once just to visit the park and we did a drive through (It's a state or national park) The beaches were so pure and the horses are friendly especially if you feed them........have a blast! :teeth: Let's come up with an alternative plan! ::yes::

I really think we have to as a group come up with a Disney :earsboy: visit when we can all be there.......... ::MinnieMo that's what brought us together and I think we could have such a great time in WDW if we could all come up with a date. What do you think :earsgirl: (Including the west coast and Lynn/Keith - Dave, Wendy are you still out there???) Lucy's card is on my refrigerator, BTW! Maybe sometime this summer? Maybe after Alex is done so she can enjoy it too! Let's brainstorm!

Yes, the B-day is coming up but it'll be 44 not 49 (&*^%$#*& - for BB) I may be alittle older but still a lot of fun (I still crack myself up!) :rotfl:

Welcome back, Lynn! Obviously, our group was more fun b/c, heck, you're back!! What are you doing this summer.........we're all coming along! :flower2:

I had the WORST day today,,.................you all gave me a smile tonight!!

BB? When are we celebrating? :flower3: Hey, Jenny, what are you guys doing??

Up until last night, Mark and the kids had something "planned". We were to take the weekend and go somewhere. Mom was going too. But, Mark failed to remember the big "Pinewood Derby". Marshall has worked so hard on his car with a friend's dad (yeah like we could build a wooden car!! :rotfl: :rotfl: ). There is no way I could take the time myself when Marshall has put so much love and effort into something (an unusual thing). Anyway, it's on Sat. lunchtime, so I guess they are going for plan B.

BTW........... I am younger than JoAnn!!
