Just got home from the Bengals/Browns game! It was awesome!!! Tomorrow I need to get one more gift and wrap. Haven't wrapped the first gift. I can't do it with the kids awake and running around. Still the "Santa Complex"!! My sister and BIL will be over tomorrow for a mini concert of "Miestro Marshall"! THen there's of course!

Now it's time to look at my ticker.....got our tickets in the mail Friday. Got
12th row seats! I am pleased about that!

Well, my son kicked my butt in the FF finals. I guess I was just lucky to make it that far....... He'll tease me for a while, but all in good fun!

Belated Merry Christmas to all!!

I sort of messed up my internet yesterday, so I have been offline. The kids got a laptop from Santa and in moving the desktop we kind of messed up the lines. But, all is well and we are back in business....all of us!

It was a nice Christmas. Mark and I are anxiously awaiting our trip to Tempe and Las Vegas. We got our tickets on Friday, so that really upped our anticipation!

John found out yesterday that for Christmas his dad and step mom are taking him to the bowl game as well. I am happy for him. He follows IU football as well (since we live in the same small town as IU) and goes to all the home games too. It is NYE on the NFL network (yeah like Lucy will have that network!!! ). We are going to the "block party" after the game to ring in the NY with Barenaked Ladies. That has been one of John's favorite groups for a long time, so he is excited about that too. I took him to their Christmas concert 3 years ago and it was awesome!

M&M were in their usual amazement of the magic of Christmas. They opened every gift with such "vigor"!!! Now they are having fun with their new laptop downstairs. I set them up this morning with their very own email addresses! That is a new thing for them. They were shocked because I didn't tell them I was going to do it!

JoAnn ~ I hope all goes well with Tara's home situation. That is hard when you are on another continent trying to arrange all that!

I bet the Williams' are having a great time. I wish I were with them and having a margarita at the "Stop Light" bar at MGM! (soon to be Disney Hollywood Studies - did you guys hear that on the Very Merry Christmas Parade)

Nice to hear from Lynn and Debi....let us know how your holiday was!!! It's currently Boxing Day Lynn, so what do you do on Boxing Day....I know the tradition, but do you do anything special? Is Keith is out fox hunting right now? Are you taking some time off Debi?

Where the heck is everyone?

We know where Lucy is, but give me some company here folks! I have a day and a half before I leave, so humor me guys!!

Went to the doctor today. I have some kind of stupid virus. I've got quite a sexy voice; what is left of it!! My throat burns something awful. Doc gave me an antibiotic just in case so I don't get out west and develop bronchitis or something else! Love my country doctor!

So, how is Tara's housing situation going?

Trying to pack. Hard to do when the weather is as obscure as the desert. Low 70s by day and 40s by night! Layers, I guess.

Biggest fear=running into a rattlesnake or the X and his wife!

Hey we're finally back from our NYC visit, we saw the LM and it was really wonderful! The crowds were insane (worse than WDW, believe it or not!) We did have a nice visit, Tara and BF joined us to see the show on the second day. Tomorrow we are going to see Fergie, then back to NY to go to Ken's family party. New Year's were still planning............

I'm sure the Lucster and gang are having a wonderful trip. The weather reports are ridiculously good! Crowds sound alittle rough though! I visited The DISNEY STORE twice in NYC, I was really jealous of Lucy in there!

GL at your Bowl game, Jenster! That should be so much fun (who has the kids?).....weird that John will also be there, I wonder if you will see him??? Have a great time in LV and let us know what show you see (where will you be on NYE, partying with the Hilton sisters, or Kevin Federline, perhaps??)............NYC will be unbearable, it was soooooo crowded!

Great to see you post Lucter! I wish I were in WDW too!

Getting nervous. We have to go through Chicago O'Hare this evening. Over 300 flights cancelled mostly on United and American..of course we are on American. Mark has no seat from Chicago to Phoenix.....must go to the airport early....guess that's why there are bars in airports...leave the driving to the pilots!!! I couldn't sleep last night as I had a feeling something was going on, but didn't know what.

They won't reroute us. Funny, it seems logical to me. Send me to BF Egypt, but not Chicago....clog up the system more????

although, not telling the kids, IF we are offered another flight, we WILL take it (they are announcing for other flights!) - also flights are being cancelled coming from other places.....we really want to get the heck out of here now that we are at the airport.

and a very healthy one too - even to the lurkers! - we haven't forgot you - you guys are probably busy - remember, the retired one here FINALLY has time to chat

Our plane was 25 minutes early getting into Phila! (LOVE AirTran!) - AND, our luggage arrived with us (LOVE Magical Express!). I had a really cool steward on board (of course I was wearing a Mickey sweatshirt) and when he asked me what I wanted to drink, I said a "Mickey diet coke" - he gave me three glasses and set them down in the shape of Mickey! (it was announced on board by the captain that he had just won some kind of award for friendliness - he was so funny!)

Bob had to be at work at 8 today. no plans for me today. visit mother of course.

I would love to give a report on our trip but i HATE this laptop! want a desktop back. my screen just disappears at times.
Yak & Yeti was absolutely fabulous.

skipped Cape May - was disappointed last time
was a little disappointed in the steak at Kona.
the Castle looked beautiful, as did MGM.
was really surprised how we liked Saratoga (I complained to poor Bob for MONTHS about going there - we were wait-listed for everywhere else) - we had a perfect location, a one bedroom.....very quiet resort and very friendly cast me.bers. Saw samples of the AK Villas - the one bedroom in the new villas at AK will have TWO BATHROOMS!

we picked the best day to fly into MCO (christmas eve day) and the best day to fly out (new year's eve day)....the security lines were so short.

Once again i wanted to tell you what perfect weather we had - at least 85 everyday - no humidity - warm at night - the day we left was cloudy and rainy. Better end this before I lost it

you ok? How was the send-off?

I NEED to go back to Florida - I have the flu....nasty, it is....can hardly get off the sofa (and believe me, that is NOT me!)....gotta do the dishes from today (not too many). Last night I sat up in bed to try and sleep - can't breathe! YES, I am VERY cranky....well, I don't get colds anymore, in my old age, it is all about sinus! stuffy nose, headache, etc. etc. etc.

And, our weather - nasty cold, with high winds !
