Poor Bob!! :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: How is he feeling?

So what are #2-9???.....make Lucy a snack, make Lucy lunch, make Lucy another snack, make Lucy dinner, make Lucy a bedtime snack, give Lucy a pedicure, give Lucy a manicure, do the laundry, and clean the basement AGAIN!!! :joker:

What are Lucy's chores?? Watch her favorite 3 p.m. Soap :happytv: Unless it is interrupted by Wimbleton coverage! :lmao: :lmao:

Tennis TODAY! don't even try to talk to me if that happens....honestly....it is the ONLY junk TV I :happytv: :happytv: watch :sad2: :scared1: :sad1: :furious:

think we're gonna do ressies today...just a few....oh, that will be another
chore! (up to 11!-believe me gang, it isn't OVER yet) OH, yea, he IS making dinner! Kids wanna do Sci-Fi for lunch, I think I'm doing a princess something, breakfast or dinner? anyone coming? let me know TODAY....I've never done princess ANYTHING! oh, yea, no matter who is going, I'm sure Bob will be there too! AND, we'd like to try Germany.
PLUS, IF there is ANY CHANCE Alex will be at Chef Mickey's - no matter what day, what time...we ARE THERE! :cool1:  :bounce:

Wow, Lucy, what an awful night, I hope Bob is okay now!! :thumbsup2

...DISDaddy is back! :wave2:
I had to wrangle him out of the baitshop, evidently a million people are buying bait this weekend, he's in high demand! :yay:

Lots of sun and heat around hear, how's everyone else doing? Love to hear from Deb or Kath or Lynn??? :surfweb:

Needless to say I'm up to my ears in :laundy:

I'm here...We've been busy this holiday weekend. It's Africa hot here this week. The heat index was 105 today. We just had a wicked thunderstorm. We certainly don't need anymore rain at the moment. My grass hasn't been cut in nearly 3 weeks. The lawn guy came by on Saturday morning but it was still to wet to cut. There was a scary incident at our pool club on Friday. A 5-year-old boy nearly drowned. I wasn't there at the time but I heard he was blue and his stomach was distended when the lifeguard got him out of the water. A doctor was at the pool so he initiated CPR. He had a pulse when the ambulance arrived. He spent the night in the hospital but he's going to be fine. It scared all of us moms though. I was at the pool yesterday and today and everyone is paying closer attention to where their kids are at.

Welcome back JoAnn! I can't wait to read your trip report.

Bob, I hope you're feeling better.

Jenny, I went to my 10-year high school reunion in 1992 and I didn't remember anyone. I haven't been to another reunion since.

I made Rice Krispie treats with M&Ms for the kids today and I can't stop eating them. I need an intervention.

Lucy, Do you watch Guiding Light? I started watching GL when I was in 8th grade but I gave it up about 10 or 12 years ago. I don't know why I stopped watching it. I used to tape it when I was working...life before TIVO.

Ted just took the kids to see Superman this evening so I've got the house all to myself.

Owen lost both of his front teeth on Saturday. He was quite excited. The tooth fairy left him $5.00!

Great to hear from you, Kathy!!! Sorry to hear about the boy at the pool....I was afraid of that the entire time my kids were younger, especially when it's hot and the pool is crowded! :sunny:

I'm dying to see "The Devil Wears Prada." Has anyone seen it yet?? :confused3

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY EVERYONE!!!

No movies for me JoAnn. I am still lobbying to see Cars (the kids went with my mom) so I at least know what is going on at WDW when we see all the "stuff"! It sounds like your cruise was fun. I would like to see your trip report as well. I cannot imagine cruising with anyone but DCL just because we've had such great trips. I know the kids would not be as content. John has sailed a couple of times on different lines and always comes back to DCL is the best for kids to him.

Currently John is at USO with his dad, step mom and step sister. He called last night and is enjoying the front of the line advantage that they get for staying on property at Hard Rock Hotel. He was going to a Dive In theatre popcorn:: at their hotel (movie while you swim) and amazingly they are showing Chicken Little. :confused3 :confused3 What's up with that?? A Disney movie at Universal??? He said he was surprised too when he saw Disney merchandise in the shops at City Walk. M&M really miss him, but it is amazing how one child being gone changes the whole complexity of the house! I stripped wallpaper border yesterday and didn't know the kids were in the house! :woohoo: I need to still paint that room, but I am sure worn out!

Kathy ~ The pool thing is scary. It only takes a second. Your making the rice krispie treats is exactly why I DON'T make stuff like that. I cannot avoid it. :teeth:

So DisDaddy is in high demand?? :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: I sure wish he'd make an appearance this month (oh my gosh it is THIS MONTH  ) at WDW. I think that would be fun to take him to Jelly Rolls. That is his kind of place! :thumbsup2 :dance3: I love these little dancers!

I too would like to hear from Lynn and Debi. Glad you checked in Kathy!

I hope Lucy is taking good care of Bob. ;) Poor guy! Allergies are a miserable thing. :sad2: And Lucy is not working right now? :confused3 And she complains about us teachers! :rolleyes1 :teacher:

JoAnn, I saw 'The Devil Wears Prada' on Friday night. It was cute, not great. Meryl Streep gave her usual fantastic performance. I went with some girlfriends. Ted probably wouldn't have liked it.

Busy day today...I don't know if I'll make it to fireworks at 9:30pm.

Enjoy the 4th everyone!

:furious: Last night, i wrote you all a long thread (when haven't they been?)! and lost the whole thing! :furious:

Bob is at work, as we speak! Last night had friends over, sitting outside, and his eyes swelled again...so inside we came with ice on his eyes, and it looked so much better. Hope he is ok at work today.

Cooking AGAIN today, but at least the picnic is NOT at my house. Having a very small picnic at family, when everyone gets home from work...yea, kindof weird, huh? working on the 4th. 4 family members must work today (including bob, tyler and bryan).

CARS was great...I know that Tyler and Bob want to see Pirates this weekend, but I was going to see Prada while they saw Pirates...maybe not.
Got my favorite "car" in a happy meal at McD Sunday night (after hospital visit). I collect Happy Meal Disney toys.

Oh, Kathy, so scary about that child. Reason I never took my kids to pool on my own - I can't swim, I'm afraid of the pool, but, not afraid of the big ocean, sitting on a deck chair, on a cruiseliner, make sense? :confused3

Hey, JoAnn...are you finished? :laundy:

Jenny, the one thing that Universal has over Disney - the front of the line access - IT ROCKS! He will LOVE it. Reason we pay the $$$ and stay on-site...and this time we have THREE days. AND, Ms. Jenny, what do you mean "Lucy is not working right now" - what do you call all this stuff I'm doing at home, FUN?! :furious: :furious: :furious:

Deb, Allie, Lynn? how are you guys? :confused3 :confused3

Happy Birthday America.

Happy Fourth of July!!It's one of my favorite holidays!!!

So my movie list is:

Devil (Thx Kath for the review, did you read the book?)
Pirates(So I switch my cruise and the pirate ship is currently docked at CC!)
Cars(Love Pixar!)

Thx for asking, Lucy, my last load is coming up next!! I'm almost done!! :woohoo: You guys are getting ready to head out on your trip, let me tell you, packing is a lot of work...............start now!!! :p

Everyone is working today except for me and DISMommy.....you know where I'll be!!! :beach:

Would love to hear how the girls are doing Debs, mine are slightly more manageable at present (don't hold your breath!) :smokin:

We've stayed at HRC once and had the preferred status at the USO, (still my favorite of the two parks!) It was pretty good, obviously, John is the perfect age for that! Our tablemates went for the day to IOA and they said the lines were too bad?!

Have a wonderful day to all and best wishes to Bob.....Lynn, sorry, this is OUR big day!! :dance3:

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE! Hope you are all enjoying your day today. Micco is working, hopefully only till about 2. We are usually not home for the 4th, we used to take our vacations around this time, or we are usually hosting a big BBQ, but today we are just hanging home. Briana is going to a friend's house later today, so it will just be Micco and I. I am going to try to get him to go down by the water and see the fireworks later tonight.

Bob- I am sorry to hear about your incident, but glad to hear you are feeling better. Lucy - We would love to do Sci Fi for lunch, we have never been there, but Micco and I keep talking about going. Not sure 'bout the princess thing, though. Anyone up for an afternoon at BB, it will be hot and definitely a thing the kids would love! Even us big kids. :cool1: :cool1:

23 more days till we see Alex and you guys, I am so glad it is already July!!! Like I said, anything we do when we are down there will be fun, even if we do nothing! I just need to ride my Rock N Roller Coaster and I will be happy!

Have a great 4th all!

Debi

Debi We have definite plans for the water parks. We upgraded to premium APs in March, so we can go anytime and as often as we want. My boys love going down the BIG slide at BB. Mark has done it a time or two as well. The family raft ride is the best. Now, if you haven't been to TL lately, then added the water coaster ride. It's a slide, but water shoots you up some hills as well. It's really fun! We rode it in March as well.

Who needs a copy of my WDW packing checklist? It's redundant at times, but pretty thorough. I got it off the internet. I will e-mail it to anyone who wants it. I use it every time! I highlight the things on the list I need to pack (there's so much I don't take on it), then check it off!!! It's such a great feeling to check those boxes! :lmao:

You guys sure take in a lot of movies! popcorn:: I go maybe once a year. Mark and I went once in the first 5-6 years we were married!

BTW ~ We celebrate anniversary #11 the day before we arrive at BWV! :woohoo: :woohoo: We are a long way from DisDaddy and DisMommy!!

Yesterday, when I went to my hometown, I made my annual visit to my idol, my fourth grade teacher. She is 88 years old and lives with her son, who is a retired teacher as well. I had him in 6th grade. She was so cute. She told me I had gotten taller. Her daughter said, "Now mother, you know you are getting shorter!!" :lmao: She is always waiting for me to show up after the parade. Every holiday she writes me a letter and tells me all about her kids, grandkids and great grandkids!! I always feel so good when I go to see her. She was such a great teacher and is really one of the few ties to my hometown that I have left.

:dance3: :dance3:

Me again................acting like I have NOTHING to do!!

I need to know Deb & Micco's dates as well as Kathy's. For some reason I didn't write those two down. I am too lazy to go back!! :rotfl2: Maybe JoAnn or Lucy will know? :confused3

Oh and JoAnn You mentioned that your :laundy: was almost done. Mine is rarely ALMOST done and NEVER compleely done! It's a vicious cycle!!!! :furious:

I want the list - I overpack all the time...maybe there are a few more things i can take :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I've learned to take the over-the-door shoe hanger - what a life saver that has been - will NEVER forget it...also clothes pins.
Hey, guys, for anyone who has been in the BWV studio, is there a closet to hang clothing - i noticed not much drawer space.

AND, if anyone wants to go to a waterpark, i'll go ONE day only....i don't swim, so i'll be your purse-watcher, for a price! :lmao: :lmao:

You have a closet that is probably 5-6 ft. It has a large opening but then you have to reach back, but not far. The armoire (sp?) has a TV at the top and 4-5 drawers under it. Your stool and tub are separate from your sink area. It has a drawer on each side with cabinet space underneath. Then there's a large area directly under the sink (lots of storeage there). The kitchen has two cabinets high up and a shelf the full length of those cabinets. There is storage under the sink as well next to the frig. I am amazed what we can fit in the frig..... The frig is la little larger than a dorm type frig. You also have a toaster, coffee maker and microwave.

Send me those dates Debi and Kathy.......I am SO confused which is not hard!on who is when.

Hi Jenny,

I get in on Friday 28 July around noon and leave around noon on Monday 31 July. I just got confirmation on a standard-view BWV studio for all 3 nights. I can't wait!

Excellent.......thanks! Congratulations on the standard view! Now you don't have to move!!! :cool1:

Alright, I got everyone's stays written down but Debi!!! :hourglass

This is getting exciting guys! Come on DisDaddy.........bring the lovely Mrs. and join the party!!! :bounce: :moped: :Pinkbounc

Hey all! DISDaddy & Mommy are 48 today!!! Send them a note, they'll die!!

I believe Debster is coming on Thursday July 27th at night and leaving on the 31st. I don't think I have waterpark with my tix so I can't do that. We will arrive Friday early and leave Monday early.

I have to go, I'll write back later!!

Happy Anniversary Bill and Alice!

OK, we get in on the 27th, I think our flight gets in around 6:30,7, I figure by the time we get the luggage and the DME, we should be at BWV no later than 9 (past Lucy's bedtime, but I will wake her :rotfl2: :rotfl2: ). I will be ready for a margarita at that point! Hopefully no delays that day. We leave on Monday, the 31st, sometime in the late afternoon, not sure exact time.

Debi
