We had a HUGE storm tonight - luckily we were in Beaches and Cream at the time

had my milkshake
but the family behind us - two adults and two little children had one - 1/2 hour after they started it, they still had NOT gotten thru the whipped cream!

Went to BOMA for breakfast this morning - delicious!
Then Animal Kingdom, but left within two hours - crowed with 'teenager visitors' (you know what i mean) - rude people....we got so upset, we left.
These kids truly make us want to get out of the parks - so unfair.
Many British visitors that are SO NICE.....I love talking with them.

Ok, we're finally here, I haven't been able to get on my computer so I'm in the business center. So far, we arrived and were able to get our room at 11am which was great. We decided to just eat breakfast, work out and go to the pool. We're gradually getting used to our hotel which seems great.

We met Jack and he was terrific. He had great stories about Jenny and Lucy...... He now knows that I am the NORMAL one. hahahaha

We're planning on going to the parks tonight for the first time.

I'll try to stop in later............talk to you soon!

We are currently in Mark's hometown. His mother had surgery this afternoon. It was a very risky procedure, but she came through it fine. We pray that she will progress, as the doctors have given us a lot of hope. We should get to see her around 3:30. We plan to stay here tonight still, see her in the morning as well before heading south to Cincinnati.

It appears everyone is having a great time. But, hey, you're in Central Florida folks. If you aren't having fun, then it's YOUR FAULT!

Does the Wonder board tomorrow JoAnn? Are you guys hitting the parks hard? Isn't Jack a sweetheart?

Oh, Lucy, I so know what you mean about "those visitors"! They totally drive me INSANE!!! We had a blast talking to the British visitors. They are charming and so mannerly!

Keep me going guys! Don't forget to post occasionally!

Bill, Lynn, Debi ~ you could "take up some slack" here too!

OK.... we don't have much to report... I mean after the big 50th things have been hectic with thankyou notes,figuring out who gave what, Alice has been very busy doing the ,cleaning, going to the beach,working at the sweat shop ....I've managed to slip away for some fishing ,I even had Alice out with me recently.... naturally she had to catch the BIG one .....
I still hope to get cd of the party, there are so many great pic's of the families who attended, I would like to make copies and send them off..
oh yeah, we are moving into the 21 century ,by expecting a new HP laptop
and a scanner/printer any day We have been working with a lovely Japanese Gal who hopefully will "show me the way", and teach us how to use this stuff
By the way ,Lucy and Bob were in good spirit's at the Gala,I can't say that I remember when Lucy got down off the tables.....

Heading to Cincinnati in a couple of hours after visiting the MIL. Hopefully she is still doing well. I keep thinking 48 hours.......... I try to keep everyone grounded in my family as I know the first 48 hours are crucial. Been there, done that.......... Keep praying for her guys.

Off to see the Rockies and the Reds. I ned the fresh air and the crack of the bat.

I'll check in on Sunday night when we get home.

Glad to hear that your MIL is recooperating. Keep us posted! It's hot and humid down here, we've been to both parks and we're heading out now in a few minutes. I haven't been able to use my laptop so posting has been "hit or miss."

Vacationing with the "Workout Freaks" has been a blast, let me tell you..... Nobody eats, drinks and EVERYONE, but me wants to workout. Personally, I think walking around a park for 5 hours should do it!

We saw Bob, Lu and Ty at Margaritaville last night and then we did some rides in USF. It was fun but hot, rainy and humid! We'll see them again on our last day!

I guess your seeing a game this weekend, Jenny, have fun and hugs to all !

Ok, another quick post...........they're working out again...today, we went to both parks and saw what we missed the last few days............we did almost all the rides in USF and did the Popeye ride twice (we got soaked): up2 For once we weren't hot but it was rough coming back in the wet clothes.

Tomorrow, we board the Wonder for the first time. Jack will pick us up at 9:30am. Tonight we're going to try to see Mama Mia at Citywalk which should be fun and then some final shopping.

Yes, had a blast with the Lawall family - well, most of them Just LOVE those girls.. There WAS a party-pooper in the group but I don't want to give you HIS name The party-pooper wouldn't buy an "I Love Lucy" shirt - whatta guy! I am SO jealous for your cruise, guys.

Jenny, glad to hear your MIL made it thru the surgery - hope she does well in rehab.

Tonight we went to a new restaurant (for us) that the boards are always talking about - Trail's End buffet at Ft. Wilderness - it was GREAT - food from the Hoop-de-doo...Tomorrow we move to the BOARDWALK
Twice during this trip to Disney a ride has broken down when we stood in line.....having bad luck with the rides, but having a great time anyway - very, very, very tired!

Well, there goes another t storm... got a call from Joannski,she was sitting poolside on the Wonder,reminding me of all the times I called her this year from the beach... Huh... yeah, just wait till she goes back to the non air conditioned school this fall... the beach is best in the Fall...warm water, mild days, sharks are hungery'st in the fall....
Mom Mom and I fished the other day,caught ton's of fish , but most go back in the water because of size,etc.... Flounder are covering the bottom,could be the best Flounder fishing i've seen in years....You can't keep many of them,but the action is great...!! I weighed in a 13 lb 110z ...32 inch flounder
for a guy yesturday.... It didn't fit in the cooler....!! that's a big fish....!!
I hear we're having visiters mid August.... Ken &Karla plus the boys,plus their /our friend Danny and family... I hope the weather holds s...it's been a hot summer, but the water is finally warming....
Hope your MIL is recovering J, and that everyone is well with all you other Dis'ers.... I'm gonna watch those Phil's,we got's to get on a winning streak,the Cardinals are in the scedule next week.....

Ok, my face is completely burnt...........it was quite hot, I was on a raft most of the day at.................Castaway Cay..............(sorry, I couldn't resist!) The last time I was there, it rained all day and we barely saw it.....it's been over 5 years! Woohoo................they have made some improvements to the island, there is a longer bike trail and observation tower. There is now a Stingray excursion, kayaking and on our next visit, we will be jet skiing! I have also scheduled the cabana massages for all of us (last day splurge.) We did very little today but relax and we have no idea what we're doing tomorrow. We think we'll save $$ if we make our own excursion tomorrow after we get off the ship.............

Where the heck is Lucy? Did she forget about her daily checkins?

I saw lots of fish while snorkeling today, and they're quite large! All I could think was..............how cool is would be to catch them!

Yes School's finished but we've been a little preoccupied, last weekend at a family gathering my sister in law was taken ill, she was rushed to hospital and she has been diagnosed with leukemia. We're trying to support my nieces and my Brother in Law.

Lynn and Debi - I bet you guys are so excited for your trip. What an experience! I sure wish we could go, but it ends up being the first two weeks of school. The other repo was the last two weeks of school!

Yesterday we had lunch at Coral Reef - haven't been there since our kids have been around - we had a great lunch!

Wish i was on a cruise right now - talk about a relaxing vacation - WDW for us is NOT relaxing - we like to go, go, go, even though we've been on every ride so many times, we just hate to miss something. I wanna be on a ship NOW!

What are we doing tomorrow? don't have a clue - maybe AK, but with us, that could change in a heartbeat!

We just arrived in Nassau...........it's going to be like 98 degrees today (hot for here even!)........we're going to do some excursion involving Blackbeard Cay? and stingrays! Anyway, we'll be pouring on the sunscreen on this one....

Yes, we can never do the REPO cruises due to school.
