Hey! July 30,2005 Cruise to Mexico Reunion Thread

Thanx for the web site Jenny, spoke to Debi on the phone yesterday.
We're both getting very excited!!!

Monday night - sorry, i was a LITTLE tired last night to set up computer. We forgot Bob's charger for phone, hopefully that is the ONLY thing we forgot!:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

JoAnn: we are NOT at the BC, we are at the BWV!!!!! YES, I told Jack that this woman he is picking up is even crazier than Jenny or myself - he is TOTALLY scared! :scared1: :lmao: I also told him about the beautiful girls he is picking up too!:cheer2:
Universal report: like I've said before, we don't do TONS many rides at Islands of Adventure (crazy wild rides) but do more rides at the old park. We've been to both parks already. Tomorrow we meet some friends from back home, Tyler's old babysitter and her family, in the park and will probably hang with them all day. This afternoon we went to the movies - good thing we did - while we were in the movies it poured. Joann - it is more comfortable here (weather-wise) than it has been at home. AND, YES, the Brazilian visitors are here - tons of them....but it is so nice having front-of-the-line access here - we won't have that luck in Disney. We do love this hotel, Royal Pacific - kindof reminds you of the Polynesian, except the rooms are smaller.

Our flight was early arriving in Orlando - I KNOW I'm on vacation when I'm in that monorail from the terminal to baggage claim - AND, our luggage was there (it is a miracle when it is) Our driver Jack was sitting in the chair, relaxing, had our sign (name) laying down - i'd recognize him anywhere - I told him one day I'm going to hold up a sign, coming down that escalator saying "Jack":rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I will report in again, i promise!:grouphug:

Thanks for the report!! Jack IS a sweetheart! I like your idea about the sign, Lucy. Wouldn't he DIE if eachof the Willams had a sign? :lmao: I too had told him about how CRAZY JoAnn is and how BEAUTIFUL the daughters are..........I will let him figure out Ken for himself!!:rotfl2:

So, are you learning any new songs? I HATE when THEY stand in line and sing those songs that I can't understand!:sad2:

When you do your grocery run find that poor Bob a charger!!

Have a mango daquari at Marley's for me! they are SOOOO awrsome! Oh! Oh! and a hurricane at Pat O'Brien's too!!!:drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

Wow, I love this daily report action! Sorry, I do know that you are in BVW, I blanked out earlier! The heat has been ridiculous around here, it wasn't too bad at the shore due to the breeze, but here it's disgusting. I hope it cools a little tomorrow! :cloud9: Where's Marley's? Is it in Citywalk!:woohoo: I'm going to IGNORE the crazy comments.......and BTW, where do you think the girls get their looks???

They got their looks from the mailman???..........................never mind!

Marley's is connected to Pat O'Brien's (or was the last time I was there). When we went we planned on going to O'Brien's because we LOVE the original in New Orleans. It was Mark's birthday and I had the evening all planned. When we got there O'Brien's was CLOSED for a "function"!! :scared1: I was so disappointed, so we went into Marley's and got a mango daquari (which was amazing). I was telling the bartender about our O'Brien's dilema. Next thing we know the manager of O'Brien's shows up with two complimentary hurricanes in souvie glasses for us! :cool1: :cool1: Those are NOT cheap drinks since they are ALL alcohol!:dance3:

That's a great story!!:goodvibes :woohoo:

I checked the weather and there's some powerful storms in Orlando today......Lu let us know...........:confused3 :scared1:

a little rain storm, little lightening, nothing BIG......someone must have had storms....sky was dark around us. Did I tell you guys we got upgraded to concierge - like these WONDERFUL boards have said:disrocks: :disrocks: :disrocks: - it never hurts to ask....well, we didn't know we had concierge because the girl at the desk told us how much it was and I said NO thanks. Well, the guy next to her must have said (Bob heard this I didn't), comp them.....we didn't know - this girl who was checking us in never told us, but Bob kept insisting he heard the guy say it so yesterday he tried his key, and YES, we had concierge - free breakfast, nice layout, snacks, etc.:thanks: :disrocks:

Today we spent the day with people from back home, Tyler's old babysitter, had a GREAT time. Spent more time in the parks than we ever did. We came back to the hotel during the short rainstorm.

Tomorrow VERY EARLY Jack picks us up, 8:00 and takes us to Animal Kingdom, then at 11:00 we go to Downtown Disney and pick up a rental car, come back to Animal Kingdom to have lunch at Yak & Yeti, drive over to the Beach Club to welcome the Beck Family, then DO SOME LAUNDRY:laundy: I can't wait to unpack, even though we must pack up again Sunday for Boardwalk.

This is my daily report.......:grouphug:

Sounds great! We actually booked the concierge, it wasn't THAT much more with the package I booked.....so that sounds really good!

So......what was your favorite ride, favorite meal, etc???popcorn::

The weather seems alittle turbulent around here tomorrow, I hope it straightens out by Thursday morning!

I'm also doing :laundy: :laundy: :laundy: :lmao: :lmao:

Studio at AKL is beautiful, we have a gorgeous pool view - didn't want an animal view like everyone else does around here - I wanted the 'animal view' that contains two legs, not four:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: .....we got our first rental car - actually got a Toyota Highlander (upgraded - we need six seatbelts, they were going to give us a car with only five, so upgraded):yay: :yay: :yay:

This morning when driving to Animal Kingdom Lodge, there were alot of dark clouds, of course, no rain in Disney.....then this afternoon, more dark clouds, no rain again. Our friends just arrived in Disney, they are at the Beach Club. Before we left Jack, we gave him a warning AGAIN about the crazy lady:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I had my Mickey waffles for breakfast in Mara, had my Chinese salad at Earl of Sandwich, and tonight we were talking about going to our favorite, Yakatori - already we cancelled a lunch today, at Yak & Yeti. We need to renew our annual passes, which will cover this year and next year:woohoo:

Thanks, I'm in the final stages of squeezing all my stuff into the suitcase (I'm trying to do one but then I won't have any PJs! We're going to try to leave by 6pm......we'll see!

I'm sure Jack knows you're nuts, I seemed really nice on the phone!:3dglasses :3dglasses I can't believe your USF part of the trip is already over! That went fast!

We're having some crazy storms around here. I'm hoping it clears up by tomorrow morning!

I'll try to check in later!

We had a HUGE storm tonight - luckily we were in Beaches and Cream at the time - everything was flooded. We did NOT get into a park today.
Tomorrow morning BOMA for breakfast, and maybe the Animal Kingdom.
8:00 and time to chill. :cool1:
Safe travels tomorrow, Lawalls.:grouphug:
