I'm a bit embarrassed to be asking this question, but I really don't want to stink the whole time we are in Disney this December!

Ever since I have become a new mommy, my armpits have taken on a life of there own. I've tried so many different deodorants and NOTHING holds throughout the day. I'm sticky and stinky by noon some days! I never used to perspire like this, and my biggest challenge then was trying to find a deodorant that didn't irritate my skin.

Can anyone out there relate? Has anyone found the absolute best in deodorant???? At this point I will try ANYTHING, well almost anything ;)

This may sound silly, but I have to alternate deodorants or I have a similar problem  My main brand is Dove, but after awhile, I switch to Secret for a week or two, then back to Dove.

In the summertime I often use Mitchum for women. It last me all day and I usually would have to apply a couple times a day.

I normally use Seceret the rest of the year.

I use Dove. I switched to Dove a few years ago when my skin kept getting irritated and haven't had a problem since. :)

LOL, your post made me smile! :sunny:

I use a deodorant crystal and it works GREAT. Years ago when I used regular deodorants they rarely worked for me. I'd always get a slightly "funky" smell after a long, hot day. LOVE the crystal and would never go back to anything else!! They last forever and are natural...no icky chemical ingredients. Good luck. Hope you find something that works for you. ::MickeyMo

So glad someone else had this problem after giving birth. :rolleyes1

I have sensitive(to perfume and some additives) skin and the best one I have found is Degree Soft Solid in shower clean....not the solid(gives me a nasty smell!!)

Hope you find the best one for you!!!

I do the exact same thing that PrincessCyann does-switch back 'n forth between Secret & Dove (I like Dove better, but sometimes find it starts becoming ineffective, once I switch, then go back to it, it works well again)?! :confused3

I always used to use Lady's Speedstick (love the different smells), but I find that since I too have had kids they aren't very effective. I actually feel like I smell some odour after only a few hours. DH uses Degree, and swears by it, so I decided to try the lady's version. I have had no problems since I switched over. I use the solid one and like the Cool Cotton or Shower Clean, or sometimes baby powder.

Good luck :flower:

For the wetness part of it, I'd try using Certain-Dri. You put in on at night and it really does a great job stopping wetness. For a regular old deodorant, I like Adidas. It works well and has a light smell, not too overpowering.

I have always used Secret solid. And guess what........so does my husband. He just buys the unscented. Every men's product he used wasn't working. So one day I told him to try mine, and has never had a problem since. He loves it as much as I do!!!!! LOL

I switch back and forth between Speed Stick for women and Secret.

I've had a problem with perspiration ever since I was pg with our 3rd child. Nothing seems to help. One of my girlfriend's had a similar (but much worse) problem, and her dr. gave her some sort of prescription antiperpirant. When I mentioned my problem to my gyn. (Don't ask me why, but this was incredibly embarassing for me!!), he just laughed at me. Not very helpful.

:earseek:I can't believe he/she laughed! I know my dermatologist has pamphlets in his office for this product...maybe going to a dermatologist would help??

I really like Dove. I switched to it about 5 months ago and have had no irritation.

I am a secret fan too. Recently I recv'd a trial of dove so I am giving it a try but like the effectiveness of secret. So far have liked dove too so if you want to try it instead fo buying one at the store get online with dove and sign up for the 7 day trial - they will send you a sample one that is like a travel size.

Secret Shower Fresh Solid. I have tried the other brands of secret that are invisible, but they just don't work for me. :mickeybar

I have had the same problem since I had my kids and I have found that using my husbands deo seems to work best. He uses Degree for men and speed stick. I just dont tell him I am using them. (hope the tag fairy doesnt catch me on this post)
:rolleyes1

My vote goes to Dove, my scent of choice is "unscented". I also tried the original scent which wasn't strong and was actually pretty nice, but for some reason after prolonged use, it reacted negatively with my body chemistry and started to smell kind of gross after a while. The unscented works great...no sweatiness and no smell! Life is good! :goodvibes
