HEY GIRLS! What's you favorite DEODERANT????

I'm a bit embarrassed to be asking this question, but I really don't want to stink the whole time we are in Disney this December!

Ever since I have become a new mommy, my armpits have taken on a life of there own. I've tried so many different deodorants and NOTHING holds throughout the day. I'm sticky and stinky by noon some days! I never used to perspire like this, and my biggest challenge then was trying to find a deodorant that didn't irritate my skin.

Can anyone out there relate? Has anyone found the absolute best in deodorant???? At this point I will try ANYTHING, well almost anything

OMG! This is so funny because just yesterday I was thinking " I have got to find a good deoderant for Disney!" I have used DOVE since it came out and it's for the most part great, but ......yesterday, (boy it was very humid and hot here in PA ) by the end of the day after being out shopping all afternoon.......I detected a bit of a not so refreshing smell combined with a touch of powder scent coming from my arm pit area! I am NOT a big sweater either.....so needless to say I NEED to find a replacement for my Dove!LOL

LOL!!!! These are the real questions we want to ask and are too embarrassed to do so. GOOD for you!!!
I use Secret with Oil of Olay in it. I found it really works well. I play softball in a women's league and we all had the same conversation. Mitchum for Women was another big one. I found I must alternate or I have the same problem. Good luck!!!

I love the Secret gel ones, and they seemed to work well at WDW in June (at least, my husband didn't tell me that it didn't )

There is a prescription antipersperant - I don't remember the details right now. Patients say it works well!

I love the Secret deo too! I find Dove (in the Uk, your formula might be different) no where near effective.

They used to do Secret in the UK, but now they have discontinued it.. and nothing works as well as it.

I like the gel crystal Secret.. its yummy - and it really works!

We stock up in the US enough to keep me going until our next trip!!

I tried Dove too and agree. It smelled great and my armpits were moisturized well but didn't seem as effective. I love my Seceret clear gel and the Mitchum for women clear gel as well. To me the gels work better. Mitchums big line is so effective you can skip a day and IT really is TRUE!! I wouldn't think a whole day at Disney but a regular routine day sure I could go without but I still do it everyday.

I've been having trouble with irritation for a couple of years. At first I switched to the Sensitive Skin Dove, and that worked for a while, but eventually I started getting the painful irritation again. I've switched to the Burt's Bees spray deoderant now, and the irritation has gone away. I did some reading, and a lot of people say that it's the anti-perspirant that clogs your pores and causes the trouble. Burt's Bees doesn't keep you from perspiring, just keeps it from smelling. I like it a lot, but I'm not a heavy sweater, so it doesn't bother me too much that there's no anti-perspirant.

I've been using Dove because I really like it but in hot weather it just wasn't working. The only deodorant that works for me when Im hot and sweaty is Secret Paltinum. I just bought the soft solid and it worked great in 90 plus humidity weather in Dutch Wonderland.

I agree...personally, I used Secret for over 15 years, then it seemed like overnight it stopped working...switched to Dove and haven't had a problem since...been almost a year...Firmly believe that no matter what you are using, sometimes you need to switch off...didn't they use to tell us the same thing about shampoo?

Dry Idea Unscented clear gel...but it's an antiperspirant/deodorant, not just deodorant.

I'm a DOVE girl, all the way... No problems during summer or winter. Walmart handed out samples before and I got a bag for my family. Now my mom and aunts all use Dove.

Hubby ran out of deoderant one day and used mine. Now he prefers DOVE so I get him his own !!! He wants to know why women get the better stuff?

We're special, and have to do it ALL (super mom/woman), do we need any another reason? We need the best!

I have to switch deo's every month or so for a week. My body seems to get used to them. I use Secret Platinum the most. On really really hot days I use my DSO's AXE, which works wonderful but smells a bit mannish...(I wore it today as here in Des Moines, Iowa it is reaching upper 90's)
Oh well if it keeps away the pit stains I'm happy.

I took the advice of many on here and purchased the Mitchum brand. So far so good!

Thanks again for all the advice. I'm not used to being a sweaty person... I suppose this is just another way becoming a mommy rocks the good ol' body! Tyler's worth it though

I used to have to switch deodorant, a different kind twice a month. But on a whim, I picked up the equate (walmart) brand deodorant and it has worked great!! (and at a much lower price)!!

I even used this kind in WDW in July. My armpits were the only thing not stinky when I got in the room at the end of the evening .

I have tried every kind of deodorant known to man, Mitchum, dove, secret, degree. . . the list goes on and on.

I have never had anything that has worked like the equate brand!

I have purchased the Avon brands - the roll on type you can get for .99 cents! Not the ones that smell like their perfumes - just the regular deoderants. That works very well - so does Mitchum. Glad to hear I am not the only woman with that problem after the kids!
