A Dell Laptop that is! It's got a Pentium IV processor, 256 MB RAM, 30 GB Hard Drive, CD/DVD-ROM and a large 14.1" screen. This thing is FAST! It came with the Home version of XP which I've found a little challenging to get used to. Will be upgrading it to the Pro version when I get the money (ie., after the WDW trip!).
For the record, it's an Inspiron 4150. They have less expensive laptops but I wanted one with the Thinkpad like keyboard with the "pointer stick". It's got a touchpad too but I don't like them much. The added memory and hard drive size was a special promotion.
Question, since I refuse to open a Passporter (?) account with Microsoft I won't be activating the Works suite on the laptop. Does anyone have any suggestions for an Microsoft Office alternative? Like EasyOffice or StarOffice?
